I was glad that I could travel by bus for this amount. I was disappointed to hear that if a tour cannot be conducted due to a disaster, there is no cancellation fee, but unlike hotels, if transportation stops and you cannot reach the location while the tour is still conducted, a cancellation fee will apply.

この金額でバスでまわれたのでよかったです。
災害の影響でツアーが遂行されない場合はキャンセル料は発生しないが、ホテルとは違い交通機関がストップして現地に行けずツアーが遂行される場合キャンセル料がかかるとの返答でそこが残念だなと思いました。

Overall tour was excellent. Long drive, but that was to be expected. Nori was friendly and informative.
Climate control in van needed to be more efficient.
Lunch stop location was excellent. Participants pay for own lunch, not included with tour price.
Tour stops were not the typical tourist stops, but more local attractions which were wonderful and not at all crowded.

I participated alone while on a business trip to Osaka. From what I saw, about 90% of the participants were foreigners (from China, South Korea, India, Australia, etc.). The guide provided information in both Japanese and English (there were comments from others saying that there was little guidance in Japanese, but in the session I attended, the announcements were made in both languages without any issues). The guide was very good at managing time and keeping participants informed, so we departed on time from all the sightseeing spots. When I asked the guide questions, they provided very polite and thorough answers.

In one day, we were able to visit Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu-dera, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama/Sagano, making for a very fulfilling experience. I wouldn't have been able to navigate all of this as efficiently on my own, so participating was definitely the right choice.

大阪出張ついでに一人で参加。見た感じ参加者の9割は外国人だった（中国、韓国、インド、オーストラリアなど）。ガイドさんは日英2ヶ国語で案内（他の方の体験談で、日本語の案内が少ないと言ったコメントがあったが、私の参加した回では、日英全く同じ案内をしていて問題なかった）。ガイドさんの時間管理や参加者への時間周知がしっかりしていたため、全ての観光地において時間通りに出発。ガイドさんに質問するととても丁寧にご案内頂いた。
1日で、伏見稲荷、清水寺、金閣寺、嵐山・嵯峨野全てを回ることができ、とても充実した内容。自分自身ではここまで効率的に回れなかったので、参加して大正解だった。

Shirakawa-go and Gokayama were of course great, but the scenery along the White Road was even more wonderful than I had expected. Above all, the guide was a very nice person, and their stories were interesting, which made the experience very enjoyable. I confidently believe this is a tour I can recommend to others.

白川郷と五箇山はもちろん良かったのですが、ホワイトロードの景色も期待していた以上に素晴らしかったです。何よりガイドさんがとても良い方で、しかもお話が面白かったので、とても楽しむことができました。

I wanted to visit Shirakawa-go, so I joined a tour. We departed from Kanazawa Station, traveled through the White Road to Shirakawa-go, and then explored Takayama and experienced making rice crackers before returning to Kanazawa Station. During the bus ride, we were able to look at brochures while receiving explanations about the highlights and delicious food, which made for an efficient sightseeing experience. It took about 10 hours from departure to return, but they created quiet time for us to rest during the journey, allowing us to enjoy the entire trip! There was also an interpreter on board, so about half of the participants were from overseas, and they accommodated vegetarian meals as well. I was very satisfied with both the tour content and the staff's service. Thank you!

白川郷に行ってみたくてツアーに参加しました。
金沢駅を出発して、ホワイトロードを通って白川郷に行き、そのあと高山散策とお煎餅焼き体験をして金沢駅に戻ってくるツアーでした。
バスの移動中にパンフレットを見ながら見所や美味しい食べ物の説明をしてもらえたので、効率よく観光できたと思います。
出発から戻ってくるまで10時間くらいかかりましたが、移動中に寝れるよう静かな時間を作ってくれたので、最後まで楽しく過ごせました！
通訳さんも乗っていたので、参加者の半分くらいは海外からの参加者で、ベジタリアン食とかも対応してました。
ツアーの内容も、スタッフの方々の対応も大満足でした。ありがとうございました！

The thrill of passing through White Road is amazing. You can't see such breathtaking scenery even in Hokkaido. Also, the guide was great.

Recently, I joined this tour during my trip to Kyoto. The itinerary started with gathering at Kyoto Station and taking a train to Fushimi Inari Taisha. From there, we met up with a group from Osaka and explored Kiyomizu-dera, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama by bus.

The tour included a Japanese guide who spoke English, but generally, participants had the freedom to explore on their own, with the guide introducing recommended spots. I rated this experience as "good" mainly because the overall time allocation was well-balanced. However, the guide's walking speed was quite fast, making it difficult for participants to keep up. Given that these tourist spots are already crowded, I would have appreciated a bit more consideration for the participants. I felt it might be a bit tough for elderly people, those with disabilities, pregnant women, and families with small children.

Overall, the itinerary allowed for a leisurely exploration of Kyoto's attractions, creating great memories, so I was quite satisfied.

先日、京都旅行で本ツアーに申し込み、参加してきました。
旅程は京都駅に集合し電車で伏見稲荷大社へ移動、伏見稲荷大社からは大阪から参加していたグループと合流し、バスで清水寺、金閣寺、嵐山を散策するものでした。
ツアーには英語ができる日本人ガイドさんが同行しますが、基本的には各人自由行動であり、ガイドさんがお勧めのスポットを紹介してくださる内容となっていました。
今回の評価を「よかった」にしたのは全体的に時間配分が程よく良かったのですが、ガイドさんの歩くスピードが速く参加者が付いて行くのに大変そうだったのでこの評価とさせて頂きました。ただでさえ混雑している観光地なので参加者にもう少し気配りして頂けると嬉しかったです。お年寄りや身体が不自由な方、妊婦さん、小さなお子様連れにはちょっと厳しいかなと感じました。
今回の旅程は京都の観光地をゆっくり散策でき、いい思い出となったので十分満足できました。

Thank you for the comfortable tour. Perhaps because the reviews I saw in advance were so wonderful, it didn't quite reach the highest level of excitement, but it was a very satisfying tour.

In particular, the guide's explanations were kind and thorough, incorporating a lot of information that I wanted to know. I felt a high level of likability, which I believe is also due to their personality.

Regarding the minimum number of participants, I hesitated when applying, wondering if the tour would be canceled if there were fewer than four people. However, I learned that it is conducted about 300 times a year. If that had been clearly stated, I might have applied without hesitation.

催行人数についてですが、4人に満たなかった場合は取りやめ？と申し込み時に迷いました。けれど、実際は年300回位
実施されているとのこと、そのように表記されていたら悩まずすんなり申し込めたかしら、と思いました。

A plan to take your time from morning until evening. The driver and guide were both enjoyable and made the time fly by. It was great to leisurely travel the White Road, a place you wouldn't typically visit on your own, with stunning views from the car window. Even with the holiday crowds, we were able to enter Shirakawa-go right away, a privilege of the tour. We were able to thoroughly explore three World Heritage sites, including the views from the car window.

朝から夕方まで、じっくりと行くプラン。運転手の方やガイドさんもそつなく楽しくあっという間でした。個人では中々行かないホワイトロードをゆっくりと行く、車窓からの景色は最高です。連休の混雑も脇目にツアーの特権？白川郷にすぐに入場できました。車窓を含めて三ヶ所の世界遺産をしっかり見学できました。

I was expecting coolness in early September, but it was hot!
The conversation made me forget about the heat.

I wish I had a bit more time in Shirakawa-go! I couldn't explore enough. The lunch was very delicious! Both the guide and the driver were very kind, cheerful, and easy to talk to. Since it was a small group, it was very relaxed. They shared many enjoyable stories about Kanazawa, which were very helpful.

白川郷での時間がもう少し欲しかったです！十分に散策できなかったです。ランチは、とても美味しかったです！ガイドさん、ドライバーさんどちらもとても、優しくて明るくて話しやすかったです。少人数のグループだったのでとても気楽でした。金沢について楽しいお話をたくさんしてくれて役立ちましました。

Overall the tour was a great experience for me and my family.

Our guide Taiji was very knowledgable about the places we visited and was very flexible and accomodating to our plans. He was also very engaging towards the group.

We would definitely engage him again when we tour Japan again and strongly recommend him to travellers.

We were picked up on time by our guide Tom Harada. He was very throughout and thoughtful in planning what we should visit and made all the different sites arrangement efficiently . He is knowledgeable about the itinerary on hand . His approach is filled with dedication and heart . I would recommend to anyone looking for an English speaking guide to reserve Tom Harada. You will not be disappointed.

Since I came all the way to Osaka, I wanted to extend my trip a bit further to Kyoto, and I decided to join this tour that seemed efficient for visiting various places. Even though I was exhausted from the summer heat in Kyoto, I was able to enjoy a fulfilling time without the hassle of navigating trains or checking timetables. At Kiyomizu-dera, I ran out of time and could only manage to grab lunch without being able to worship, which I regret a little. I understand there are limits to the time spent on-site, but it seems there was no strict need to adhere to the prior notice stating, "Lunch will be on your own at Kiyomizu-dera." I wish I had eaten my bento during the transfer from Fushimi Inari Taisha, but I’ll take this as a lesson for next time.

せっかく大阪まで来たので、もう少し足を伸ばして京都まで行きたいと考えていて、効率よく色々回れそうなこのツアーへの参加を決めました。真夏の京都の暑さにぐったりしながらも、自分で電車などで移動するわけではないので、地図を見たり時刻表を確認する手間もなく、すごく充実した時間を過ごすことができました。清水寺では時間が足りず、ランチをとるのがやっとで参拝には至らずだったのがちょっと心残り。現地での滞在時間には限界があるのはわかっていますが、事前の案内に『清水寺で個々で昼食です』というお話を忠実に守る必要もなかったようなので、稲荷伏見大社からの移動中にお弁当を食べちゃうみたいなことをすれば良かったなぁと後悔してますが、次回の教訓にします。

I was frustrated because many of the tour participants were foreigners and didn't return by the meeting time. Also, the restrooms at the tourist spots were extremely dirty; there were empty takoyaki boxes in the sanitary bins, toilet paper thrown on the floor, and feces on the toilet seat, making them unusable.

ツアー参加者は外人ばかりで集合時間になっても戻ってこない人が多くてイライラしました。
それと観光地のトイレがサニタリーボックスにたこ焼きの空のゴミ、トイレットペーパーは床に捨ててある、便が便座についている等異常に汚く使うことができませんでした。

My foreign husband and in-laws joined me, and we were all very impressed by the nature of Shirakawa-go and the White Road. The driver and guide were very kind, making it a fun trip. Since there were only five participants, it felt like a luxurious, almost private experience. As the driver mentioned, the White Road is a hidden gem, and even during the autumn foliage season, it wasn't crowded. We hardly encountered any other tourists this time. I highly recommend it!

外国人の主人と義父母を連れての参加だったのですが、白川郷はもとよりホワイトロードの自然にとても感激していました。運転手さん、ガイドさんともとても親切で楽しい旅行になりました。参加者が5名だったこともあり、ゆったりしたほぼプライベートのような贅沢な旅行でした。ホワイトロードは穴場だと運転手さんが言っていた通り、紅葉の時期でも混んでいないとか。今回もほとんど観光客などにすれ違いませんでした。とてもオススメです！

Guide was very helpful. Food was great. We had to cut short our tour due to a commitment and she helped us manage the public transpo in tokyo which can be nerve wracking

The driver and guide were very dedicated, providing an excellent experience. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, but they still shared beautiful views and recommended highlights. It was a wonderful tour that allowed us to enjoy the White Road, Shirakawa-go, and Takayama.

We (2 adults) visited Tokyo during the Sakura season and were fortunate to have Tom Harada as our personal guide for a whole day. The driver was a colleague of his who normally does Chinese guided tours so we had two very nice professionals on board.
On our way to Mount Fuji Tom asked us thoroughly about our interests and what we would prefer to see. So he made an individual plan for us and it was great.
The weather was perfect and we had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji.
Tom knows literally EVERYTHING and he is also very entertaining.
He is not only the perfect guide who can read his clients very well and adapt to that but he is also a great photographer. This has probably something to do with his former job. He took beautiful pictures of us always telling us where to stand so the light and the view would be better.
He took us to a great restaurant for lunch.
We could tell that he is very passionate about what he does and that genuineness is great to see and that is exactly what makes this tour so special.

We strongly recommend this tour for everybody visiting Mt. Fuji.
It was one of the best experiences we had in Japan.
And make sure you ask for Tom.

Our custom family private day trip with Mr. Tom Harada and his associates was exactly what we wanted. His English was perfect, he was extremely patient, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable about both the history of the areas we visited as well as their current attractions and features. He was waiting for us in our hotel when we arrived in the lobby, and was always managing our time throughout the day so we were able to see everything we wanted. He customized the tour to our preferences and specifications, and also recommended other areas that were convenient and very enjoyable. The transportation was very clean and comfortable, and the driver was very safe. He even assisted us with our bags and booking tickets on the shinkansen at the conclusion of the tour, ensuring we were safely on our way to our next destination. He also offered us his phone number if we had any problems the rest of our trip in Japan he could help with.

This tour is highly recommended, and I would encourage you to trust Mr. Harada with your tour, as he knows all the secrets, hidden gems, and in's-and-out's to ensure your valuable time is spent wisely.

We were so lucky to meet Taici. His knowledge, kindness, helpfulness and energy made our 8 hr trip full of fun, education and great shopping. He took us to the places we enjoyed so much as if he has known us for years. We did not want our trip to end with him. We can’t wait to be back on a trip with Taici again.

I stayed in Osaka for three days, and while searching online for a day trip to Kyoto, I found this tour. My mother and I participated in a monitor tour, which offered a free spot for one person if we submitted our experiences. Unfortunately, it rained on the day of the tour, and there were many school trip students, tourists, and foreigners everywhere. The rain made it difficult to move forward as umbrellas kept bumping into each other, and we often had to return early. My mother also had trouble walking, so we bought some souvenirs and returned to the bus early to rest. I was really happy that our tour guide, Haru, was considerate and checked on us frequently. I am very grateful for that. I hope for better weather next time and would like to participate again.

大阪に3日間滞在するので、一日京都へ行ってみようとネットで検索していたら、このツアーを見つけました。母と二人で参加し、モニターツアーで、体験談を投稿すると、１人分が無料になるということに魅力を感じ参加することにしました。当日はあいにくの雨で、どこも修学旅行生や観光客、外国の方で人が多く、雨も降っていたので、傘が当たってなかなか前に進めず途中で帰ってくることが多かったです。母も足が悪く、歩くのが辛そうだったので、お土産を買って早めにバスに帰り休んでいました。そけで、添乗員のハルさんが気をつかってくださり、よく声をかけていただけたことが嬉かったです。すごく感謝してます。次回は天気に恵まれることを祈り、また参加してみたいとおもいました。

The tour had about 80-90% international participants, and the guide provided information about the sightseeing spots in both Japanese and English. (It felt like participating in an overseas tour...) I was prepared, but the schedule was quite tight! At each destination, we were told to return by a specific time, and before you know it, the time is up. However, I recommend it for those who want to see many famous places in Kyoto in one day! There was the unfortunate news that Kiyomizu-dera is undergoing major renovations!!! But overall, I think it was a great value tour that covered a lot of highlights. Thank you!

ツアーは、８・９割が海外の方でガイドさんが日本語と英語で観光地の案内をしてくれました。（海外ツアーに参加している様な気分も味わえたり．．．）
覚悟はしていましたがかなりタイトなスケジュールです！
各目的地に着くと何時何分までに戻って来てくださいと言われ。あっという間に時間が来てしまいますが、１日で京都の名所をたくさん回りたい方にはお勧めです！
楽しみにしていた清水寺が大改修中！！！という悲劇もありましが、トータル的にはいいとこ取りのお得なツアーだったと思います。ありがとうございました！

Both guides were amazing! I would recommend this tour to anyone, the price is not bad at all and it’s worth it! Specially when traveling with small children and dealing with jumping from train to train to see each sight. This tour was beyond helpful! Convenient and if you don’t plan to take the lunch option, he location where you get drop off has other lunch options available as well.
