Best experience during our stay in Tokyo. Everything was on time and managed with great professionalism. Highly recommended!
We went with our two kids 11 and 13.
Make sure you check the weather. It can’t be cloudy or you won’t see Mt Fuji. Take the bullet train to return to Tokyo.
Kids enjoyed everything!

Tom, our tour guide was simply fabulous. He arrived at our hotel on time and had a driver with him. He explained our plan for the day and asked if we wanted to alter anything. It was raining that day so he suggested an alternate tour so we can get the most out of the experience. Instead of going to the Pagoda to view Mt Fuji ( which wouldn’t happen because of the fog and rain), we decided to visit the natural ice cave and wind cave instead. It was such an adventure and me and my girlfriends had so much fun. We then went to an authentic tic Japanese restaurant for lunch by the lake, did the ropeway, went to a Sakw brewery and finished off with a bath at the hot springs. If tpu’re thinking of a day trip to MT Fuji, hiring Tom is the only way to go! And he spoke perfect English :)

The Trip to My Fuji, Janine and cruise to Lake Ashi gives you a memorable experience to cherish for your life. Well organised tour with English guide made it easy to understand the things. The beautiful scenery of lake Ashi,Gondola ride, and marvellous Mt Fuji makes a wonderful combination. The return journey via Bullet Train was an icing on the cake.
Go for it.

The tour leader was very organised and informative. She shared information that was both specific to the sight seeing and general info on Japan and the culture. She had a great sense of humour. Highly recommended.

Overall tour was excellent. Long drive, but that was to be expected. Nori was friendly and informative.
Climate control in van needed to be more efficient.
Lunch stop location was excellent. Participants pay for own lunch, not included with tour price.
Tour stops were not the typical tourist stops, but more local attractions which were wonderful and not at all crowded.

This tour was really great!!! It's with the company Gray Line Tours and they take you to Fuji, Hakone sky gondola, Owakudani valley, and a cruise on lake Ashi. Our guide "Yoshi" was really funny, interesting, and informative. He told us just the perfect amount of information and made it memorable. He took care of us well on the bullet train too. There was enough time at all the destinations to enjoy. I recommend this trip to Mt Fuji and the surrounding area!

Shirakawa-go and Gokayama were of course great, but the scenery along the White Road was even more wonderful than I had expected. Above all, the guide was a very nice person, and their stories were interesting, which made the experience very enjoyable. I confidently believe this is a tour I can recommend to others.

白川郷と五箇山はもちろん良かったのですが、ホワイトロードの景色も期待していた以上に素晴らしかったです。何よりガイドさんがとても良い方で、しかもお話が面白かったので、とても楽しむことができました。
自信を持って他の方にもお薦めできるツアーだと思います。

I wanted to visit Shirakawa-go, so I joined a tour. We departed from Kanazawa Station, traveled through the White Road to Shirakawa-go, and then explored Takayama and experienced making rice crackers before returning to Kanazawa Station. During the bus ride, we were able to look at brochures while receiving explanations about the highlights and delicious food, which made for an efficient sightseeing experience. It took about 10 hours from departure to return, but they created quiet time for us to rest during the journey, allowing us to enjoy the entire trip! There was also an interpreter on board, so about half of the participants were from overseas, and they accommodated vegetarian meals as well. I was very satisfied with both the tour content and the staff's service. Thank you!

白川郷に行ってみたくてツアーに参加しました。
金沢駅を出発して、ホワイトロードを通って白川郷に行き、そのあと高山散策とお煎餅焼き体験をして金沢駅に戻ってくるツアーでした。
バスの移動中にパンフレットを見ながら見所や美味しい食べ物の説明をしてもらえたので、効率よく観光できたと思います。
出発から戻ってくるまで10時間くらいかかりましたが、移動中に寝れるよう静かな時間を作ってくれたので、最後まで楽しく過ごせました！
通訳さんも乗っていたので、参加者の半分くらいは海外からの参加者で、ベジタリアン食とかも対応してました。
ツアーの内容も、スタッフの方々の対応も大満足でした。ありがとうございました！

The thrill of passing through White Road is amazing. You can't see such breathtaking scenery even in Hokkaido. Also, the guide was great.

ホワイトロードを通過する時のあの恐怖感、最高です。北海道でも、あれだけの絶景は見られません。それと、ガイドさんも良かったですよ。

I booked this trip about two weeks in advance thinking all would go well, but it rained the entire time. It’s not the tour guides fault, but was a bit disappointed we didn’t get to see Mt Fuji not get to take the sky ride. The tour guide and layout, however, were excellent! The tour guide was quite humorous and was able to take light off of the fact that we had bad weather. Was still worth the money.

Thank you for the comfortable tour. Perhaps because the reviews I saw in advance were so wonderful, it didn't quite reach the highest level of excitement, but it was a very satisfying tour.

In particular, the guide's explanations were kind and thorough, incorporating a lot of information that I wanted to know. I felt a high level of likability, which I believe is also due to their personality.

Regarding the minimum number of participants, I hesitated when applying, wondering if the tour would be canceled if there were fewer than four people. However, I learned that it is conducted about 300 times a year. If that had been clearly stated, I might have applied without hesitation.

催行人数についてですが、4人に満たなかった場合は取りやめ？と申し込み時に迷いました。けれど、実際は年300回位
実施されているとのこと、そのように表記されていたら悩まずすんなり申し込めたかしら、と思いました。

A plan to take your time from morning until evening. The driver and guide were both enjoyable and made the time fly by. It was great to leisurely travel the White Road, a place you wouldn't typically visit on your own, with stunning views from the car window. Even with the holiday crowds, we were able to enter Shirakawa-go right away, a privilege of the tour. We were able to thoroughly explore three World Heritage sites, including the views from the car window.

朝から夕方まで、じっくりと行くプラン。運転手の方やガイドさんもそつなく楽しくあっという間でした。個人では中々行かないホワイトロードをゆっくりと行く、車窓からの景色は最高です。連休の混雑も脇目にツアーの特権？白川郷にすぐに入場できました。車窓を含めて三ヶ所の世界遺産をしっかり見学できました。

The tour was well organised, the tour guide was the best we had all week, Yoshi was helpful and informative. The weather was not the best but we still had an amazing time. 5th Station was very misty, the shrine there was worth a look. Cable car up to Volcano crater was good, black eggs and a spot of shopping. The boat trip was good, we managed to see Mount Fuji for about 30 seconds and got a picture too.

Well presented, staff knowledge provided most helpful response to queries and made the day a great success

This was my first time using the service of a taxi driver who could speak English. I was attending a foreign visitor who was visiting Kyoto for the first time, so we went to well-known tourist spots, but I was truly moved by the guide talk about places I had never known before and the background of each location. I was impressed by what a professional guide is like, and I am grateful to the taxi driver who provided such a thoughtful and warm guide. I definitely want to use this service again when I visit Kyoto next time.

今回初めて、英語が話せるタクシードライバーさんのサービスを利用しました。京都には初めて訪れた外国人をアテンドしていたので、誰でも知っているような場所への観光でしたが、自分も全く知らなった見所や、各場所の背景などのガイドトークが本当に感動的でした。
プロのガイドさんというのはこういうものなんだなと感心するとともに、丁寧で心温まるガイドをして下さったタクシードライバーさんに感謝です。
次に京都にを訪れるときにも、ぜひこのサービスを利用したいと思います。

Sho-ji our driver/guide was so nice and flexible, he even took us to go fishing and helped keep an eye on our children. Travelling with young kids, this tour suited us as we didn’t want to feel rushed or pressured if we joined a bus tour. We got to see numerous places and thoroughly enjoyed our time around Kyoto with Sho-Ji.

I was expecting coolness in early September, but it was hot!
The conversation made me forget about the heat.
Thank you to the guide, who also handled various tasks, and the driver.
I was promised to come back again.

We took a one day tour with Veltra on Saturday 25 August. The tour commenced on time at Jolly's Coffee Shop opposite the Shin Kyoto Station. The tour gave us a comprehensive overview of the temples, shrines and gardens in Kyoto. There is a fair amount of walking to visit each site and this coupled with mid 30's temperatures was indeed a challenge for us in our mid 70's. Nevertheless the guide did point out shortcuts for us and still see the important sites. Lunch on this day was similar to a shabu shabu event with chicken & vegetable cooked at the table individually. It would have been even better in cooler weather. We found the tour ideal for the one day traveller to at least gain an overview of the beautiful historic sites of Kyoto.

I wish I had a bit more time in Shirakawa-go! I couldn't explore enough. The lunch was very delicious! Both the guide and the driver were very kind, cheerful, and easy to talk to. Since it was a small group, it was very relaxed. They shared many enjoyable stories about Kanazawa, which were very helpful.

白川郷での時間がもう少し欲しかったです！十分に散策できなかったです。ランチは、とても美味しかったです！ガイドさん、ドライバーさんどちらもとても、優しくて明るくて話しやすかったです。少人数のグループだったのでとても気楽でした。金沢について楽しいお話をたくさんしてくれて役立ちましました。

This was such a great tour! My guide was Yurika and she was super sweet and very knowledgable! She took us to some very cool spots where I got nice pictures, as well as picked up some souvenirs. The street food venders near the shrine were delicious so I would recommend skipping luck so you can try as much as possible!

Overall the tour was a great experience for me and my family.

Our guide Taiji was very knowledgable about the places we visited and was very flexible and accomodating to our plans. He was also very engaging towards the group.

We would definitely engage him again when we tour Japan again and strongly recommend him to travellers.

Mother Nature defeated all attempts by the enthusiastic travel team to make it a great day. Unfortunately we caught the tails winds and rain from a typhoon that went through and there is no cancellation, just changes to routing schedule, they do warn you of this possibility. Every change of plan was thrawted with more wind and rain. Tour guide tried her hardest to make a go of it and was very knowledgeable and forthcoming with interesting information and felt a tad sorry for her and the driving team who were also very pleasant. Mother Nature won out on this one, just a shame there isn’t the ability to take a rain check as our US cousins would say, the weather ended up so bad it was hard to stand up and MT Fuji itself was closed. I imagine it is a great tour in any other circumstances.

We were picked up on time by our guide Tom Harada. He was very throughout and thoughtful in planning what we should visit and made all the different sites arrangement efficiently . He is knowledgeable about the itinerary on hand . His approach is filled with dedication and heart . I would recommend to anyone looking for an English speaking guide to reserve Tom Harada. You will not be disappointed.

We were very fortunate that the summer weather was very good; skied were clear. From afar on the coach, we were able to see Mount Fuji in its elegance. A great guide (Joji) was passionate about the mountain, sharing her own experience when she did the ascent to the crater top. That made the emotional connection. The cable car ride was beautiful; it brought us to the sulphur “mine” that added to the volcanic heritage of Mount Fuji. The ride on the pirate ship in the lake was nice as a good conclusion to the excursion.

Perfect quick tour if looking for brief sight-seeing on time constrain. Also suitable for elderly with limited mobility as walking is minimal (location sight-seeing is self-paced). 2 drivers provided for safe-driving for comfortable long distance coach/bus trip. Tour guide, Michika was informative, engaging and clear with instructions.

My foreign husband and in-laws joined me, and we were all very impressed by the nature of Shirakawa-go and the White Road. The driver and guide were very kind, making it a fun trip. Since there were only five participants, it felt like a luxurious, almost private experience. As the driver mentioned, the White Road is a hidden gem, and even during the autumn foliage season, it wasn't crowded. We hardly encountered any other tourists this time. I highly recommend it!

外国人の主人と義父母を連れての参加だったのですが、白川郷はもとよりホワイトロードの自然にとても感激していました。運転手さん、ガイドさんともとても親切で楽しい旅行になりました。参加者が5名だったこともあり、ゆったりしたほぼプライベートのような贅沢な旅行でした。ホワイトロードは穴場だと運転手さんが言っていた通り、紅葉の時期でも混んでいないとか。今回もほとんど観光客などにすれ違いませんでした。とてもオススメです！

Guide was very helpful. Food was great. We had to cut short our tour due to a commitment and she helped us manage the public transpo in tokyo which can be nerve wracking
