Japan
This is the second evaluation sent to me by your company. As written on the first evaluation, the tour went off explicitly well. When our tour guide Ken Takahashi introduced himself to the group @ Yokohama Port, he has this pleasing smile with an excellent diction in English. We have had a quality tour and he explained to us important and interesting highlights of the different era on the Japanese history.
On behalf of the group, we would like to extend our appreciation to Ken Takahashi, tour guide and driver Mr.Higashi san for making our day in Tokyo a memorable one.
Dear Evelyn,
It was very nice to have you and your friends in Japan the other day. We are glad to know you enjoyed both contemporary and traditional Japan during the tour. We do hope you visit Japan again not too distant future and allow us to have another opportunity to take you to other fantastic places in this beautiful country. Once again, we appreciate your choosing our company and encouraging evaluation to us.
Great tour , very patient tour leader, courteous driver. Surely give us memorable moment at Japan. Outstanding tour
This was a very long day out.
The mountain was covered in cloud. We were greeted with snow, at the 5th step.
Lots of driving.
Lunch was fair.
It was dull and wet at the lake, which spoiled the experience.
The ride on the rope car was high and fun.
Waiting for others was a pain. We didn't arrive back at our hotel until very late.
A good experience, which looked better on TV.
We saw better views in Shimitzu on another tour, from our cruise ship..
Mr. Tom, our personal guide took us to the Kawakuchiko lake to see Mt. Fuji and we were very lucky that it was a bright and sunny day that we can see the Mt. Fuji clearly. Our guide let us move onto the next sightseeing spots at our own pace so it is very enjoyable for the whole family!
Our family had the disadvantage of traveling in from Tokyo Bay, so our travel either side of this tour was already extended, and that could not be helped by the tour company. However our pick-up was late from the hotel that we had arrived at just before the scheduled pick-up time that had required us to wake our sleeping children which was rather frustrating. It was also raining and cold. We waited for the bus and then travelled about 10 minutes to waste more time transferring to another bus.
The tour company cannot be held accountable for the weather, but the gondolas were not running, the highest viewpoint we could access was No. 2 and for most of the day Mount Fuji was not visible. Our tour guide was lovely and informative and provided lots of information about points of interest other than those listed on the itinerary. The tour company chose a shrine to visit instead of riding the gondolas which was enjoyable.
The lunch was average, the hot pot was nice but the tempura was stone cold when we arrived.
The stopping points felt rushed and most of the day was spent on the bus. We opted for the bus ride home seeing as we were a family of 5 and our rail passes had expired the previous day. Once passengers transferring to the bullet train had been escorted to the station, our bus waited (or wasted) a considerable amount of time waiting for another bus to join us before beginning the long trip home.
Considering we were the last drop off and had to commute back to our hotel after drop off at the designated hotel, all of the delays and waiting around to transfer and join with other tour groups made the day feel wasted. We definitely regret choosing this activity for our last day in Japan.
I hope to join on the next trip to the 5th station and fruit picking tour.
Overall it was a great day. Our guide, George was great but a single day trip is not enough for Mt Fuji due to the travelling time. We spent full 5 days (excluding 1 day for Mt Fuji and 2 travelling days) in Toyko and there is still much to do with the museums, parks and especially the culture.
If you really want to visit Mt Fuji, I would suggest spending the night to enjoy the magnificient Mt Fuji, onsen and mother nature.
Yoshi was an excellent guide. He showed us around well and was a good source of information. We would like to thank him very much.
Dear Izham
I'm very glad to see your comments and five stars.
I'll be with you in anywhere Japan if you have a chance to come to Japan again.
I hope your business will be prosperous forever.
I'm dreaming if I could perform as a Jazz singer in your music program in Malaysia.
Good luck!
Yoshi
I realize the weather is out of the control of the tour oppotators, however, we can’t be the first tour that experienced bad weather. And it was clear they had no “Plan B” for when that happened and both Kakone and the cruise were cancelled. Likewise, I know I signed that there would be no refund, but what happened to the tickets for the above activities that we didn’t do?
I’m sure this would be a great experience on a sunny day.
Endo-San was waiting for us at the appointed time in our hotel, he is truly fluent and an excellent guide and we had a knowledgeable and fun day. The other thing that was memorable was our udon lunch in a small restaurant (inn?) which was both delicious and good value. We ended the wonderful day with 45 minutes in an onsen - my first in an open-air onsen, looking at Mt Fuji. Of course thanks to God who gave us perfect weather and thus a marvellous view of the mountain. I would recommend Endo-San to anyone traveller.
I had a perfect day to visit Mt. Fuji. We got to photograph it from different angles with excellent results. Lunch was OK, but the time spent in Hakone and the cruise were pretty much a waste of time. If you can find a half day (morning) trip to Fuji, I would recommend you take it.
This tour was amazing! And a great value. I highly recommend it. So much packed into a day of sightseeing: taxi ride, bus ride, boat ride, bullet train ride, gondola ride, Mt. Fuji, authentic and tasty Japanese lunch, Lake Ashi, and an English speaking guide. Really fantastic.
We went around Kyoto and the tpur was very well managed. Chihiro was our guide and she was amazing. She was always smiling and made special efforts to talk to each of us. She welcomed as many questions as we had. It was an amazing experience. We fell in love with Kyoto thanks to you guys.
Thank you for joining tour and review.
We are happy to hear that.
We hope you have a lot of memories.
Best regard

This tour made me enjoy seeing Mt Fuji at our own pace. We were picked up by a good driver and a knowledgeable tour guide. Upon riding the van wee discussed first the final.itinerary. the guide Akiko detailed out the places we were visiting and their significance. So we proceeded as planned to the heritage center shrine lunch near the pond and the lake. My family enjoyed it very much especially at our own pace. I highly recommend this tour to small groups.
we were very lucky to join the Grand Tour of Tokyo organised by VELTRA with English guide.
This tour includes the paranomic view of Tokyo from Tokyo Tower. Next we went to Meiji Shrine and later the Imperial Palace East Garden and we were very lucky to see the Cherry blossom almost at full bloom.
The bus also brought us a drive though Ginza Shopping district, The Diet Building and Akasaka Guest House.
Typical delicious Japanese lunch was provided by this tour.
The Sumida River Cruise is one of the highlights of this tour which brought us to Asakusa Temple. We were able to experience a wonderful cruise with Sakura in full bloom on both sides of the river.
The shops lining towards Asakusa Kannon Temple is a must for Tokyo tourists. We bought a lot Japanese souvenirs and gifts from the many little interesting shops.
We had the opportunity to see Ueno and Akihabara in the evening when the bus drove though the area on the way to drop off point.
Overall is a fantastic experience for both of us,
. Thank you very much VELTRA tour.
Good trip with an amazing view of Mt Fuji! Very lucky it was a clear day, Had an enjoyable cruise and enjoyable bus trip!
The tour was carefully arranged but unfortunately the weather was bad so we didn't have the chance to ride both the ropeway and the cruise.
We had a difficult weather day and the operator made every effort to give us a quality experience. Our guide Eiko was outstanding.
Overall, I suppose the tour delivered alexactly what it said it would. Out your guide, while quite a lovely lady, seemed unsure and somewhat disorganized. She often did not give clear instructions on what to do next.
The day was long, as were the gaps between the activities. I was finished at each location in about half the time, and had to meander for the remaining time. Then, having to drive for an hour to the next activity was quite boring.
The weather was not agreeable on this day, so this may have negatively colored my experience.
We had good experience with the tour company. All of the direction were very clear and we didn't have any problem finding our meeting point. Well worth it if this is your first time visiting Japan. It was quite a relaxing day actually. We took the way back to Japan by bus, but it would have been a lot faster with the train. We weren't worried as much because we just slept on the way.
It was very easy to get around by bus. The guide was also very kind and helpful. I enjoyed the rice cracker experience as well. Thank you very much.
Dear 793,
Thank you for participating in our tour. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the bus tour.
While we provide a brief introduction to various locations, as a tour conductor, I may not be able to offer as detailed information as a bus guide. However, I am continuously studying to assist you in your travels as much as possible.
If you have the opportunity, I hope you will visit the Hokuriku region and the Hida region again.

I went on a family trip to Kanazawa for the first time. Since it was a special occasion, I decided to join this tour to see the World Heritage site of Shirakawa-go, which is not easy to visit often. The tour allowed us to take our time at each landmark, and we were able to see everything leisurely. The guide provided clear explanations in two languages, making it an enjoyable trip. I would like to use this service again.
Dear Akihiro0911,
Thank you for participating in our tour. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your trip.
This time, you experienced a tour that allowed you to fully enjoy the World Heritage sites of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, but we also offer a tour to Shirakawa-go and Takayama. During the period from June 20 to October 31, both tours will take you to Shirakawa-go via the "Hakusan Shirakawa-go White Road," a scenic mountain road that offers a view of "Hakusan," one of Japan's three famous mountains. The best time to enjoy the Hakusan Shirakawa-go White Road is undoubtedly during the autumn foliage season. You can enjoy the natural beauty of the leaves without any artificial enhancements, so we hope you can visit Ishikawa Prefecture during that time.

Our driver Hiroshi was a wonderful guide, and the Toyota Crown he drove was so beautiful.
Hiroshi showed up with white gloves on him, and had a name tag with my name on the dashboard.
He treated us if we were celebrities or something.
He was very knowledgeable, kind and had a great hospitality.
I would say that the price they charged for 4hours of this service is very reasonable. We wil recommend this service for anyone who comes Kyoto for the first time!
Dear Emi-san,
Thank you so much for using our limo service.
We appreciate to receive this wouderful comment from you.
We am very glad to hear that you and your family spent a great time in Kyoto with our driver Mr. Yano.
We are looking forward to receiving a new request from you and your friend in the near future.
Best regards,
Our group of 4 had a great time with our guide Masa.
We wanted to view Mt Fuji but the weather only allowed us to see mostly the base.
Masa customized the itinerary so we could make the most of the tour, we saw Mt Fuji base, Oshino Hakkai ponds, Kirin Whiskey Distillery and the Cherry Blossom Festival in Matsuda.
We highly recommend this private tour :)
Taiji Endo san was our tour guide who provided us (a group of 8 people) excellent service. He accommodated our requests due to plan changes and suggested some fabulous ideas to our visits in Hakone. We all enjoyed every moments and had lot of laughter and good stories from Taiji.
We highly recommend Taiji and Veltra for your next visits to Japan.

We unfortunately were not able to see Mt Fuji on our tour. We instead had a wonderful tour and tasting at the Hakushu Distillary. I highly recommend!
Finished the day at the hot springs...bliss!
Though I was expecting that the sky will get more clear in the afternoon, there are unfortunately days with bad visibility. Despite what we missed, I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the tasting at the Hakushu wiskey disillery and hot spring.
Hopefully looking forward to seeing you in the future.
Cheers!
Tour was overall good with English speaking Guides. All the activities were good with nice handling. May be bullet train option will be better to choose as we were running quite behind the schedule due to some block on the road...
Guides were excellent... if you are on short trip this is excellent tour to get acquainted with the main attractions in Tokyo.
Two days ago, the Hokuriku region experienced record-breaking heavy snowfall! I was worried about whether the tour would proceed with participants coming from Hokkaido, but we departed as scheduled on a fully booked bus. The guide was very cheerful, skilled in explanations, and incorporated fluent English, keeping us engaged on our way to the destination. The snowy Shirakawa-go and Gokayama were charming and impressive. The lunch was even better than I expected. I am grateful for the wonderful memories from this trip.
Dear My Melody,
Thank you very much for participating in our tour. This year, the Hokuriku region has experienced an exceptional heavy snowfall, which occurs only once every ten years, and there were forecasts of heavy snow during the three-day weekend as well.
Our staff discussed whether to proceed with the tour while checking the weather forecast multiple times up until the last minute. After confirming with tourist destinations and stops in Toyama and Gifu Prefectures, we decided to go ahead as both prefectures reported that the snow was not as severe as in Ishikawa Prefecture.
With sufficient snowfall in Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, we believe you were able to enjoy the snowy World Heritage sites even more than usual.
Both the driver and the guide are very pleased to have been able to assist in creating memorable experiences for you.
It seems that Hokkaido is also experiencing heavy snowfall this year, so please take care of yourself and don’t overdo it.
I was able to visit two snow-covered villages, Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, in one day, and I also enjoyed lunch and a rice cracker baking experience.
Dear Watanabe,
Thank you for participating in our tour.
I hope you enjoyed the different atmospheres and architectural styles of the UNESCO World Heritage sites, Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, both of which feature traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses.
Each village offers unique beauty throughout the four seasons, so if you have the opportunity, please consider visiting during a season other than winter.
We are relieved to hear that you enjoyed the tour. Thank you for sharing your experience.
