The weather was great! Takachiho Gorge was just as beautiful as the photos in the guidebook. The food was delicious. What I found concerning was the meeting place. I think the destination should be clearly stated.

I think it would have been a waste of time for individuals to try to see everything on their own. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to tour efficiently. I expected it, but Saturday was very crowded. About 70% of the tour guests were from China, and the places we visited felt similar. It felt almost like traveling in China. The guide explained in Chinese, Japanese, and English. I couldn't understand the Chinese, but I consider that part of the fun of the tour.

When we took the Beppu Ropeway to the summit, there was still a lot of snow remaining. I might not have been able to go there on my own. The two guides were cheerful, and we had a very enjoyable time. I hope to meet them again somewhere next time, and I would love to participate again. Thank you very much.

At Dazaifu Tenmangu, I entered the museum to escape the cold. Despite being famous, Yufuin had few things to see, so I took my time enjoying a meal to pass the time. It was snowing at the top of the ropeway, so I wished I had worn winter boots. Finally, I was able to warm up by soaking my feet in the foot bath at Kamado Jigoku.

I was disillusioned by the warm image of Kyushu, and strengthening my cold weather preparations was a point of reflection.

全体的に各観光地での見学時間が長すぎる事が多かったです。真冬の観光で本当に「寒さに耐えるツアー」となり、真っ先にバスに戻ってしまいました。

太宰府天満宮では博物館に入って寒さをしのぎました。
湯布院は有名な割に見る物は少なく、ゆっくり食事をして時間を持たせました。
ロープウェイで上った先は雪が降っていたので、冬靴で行けば良かったです。

I thought it was early, but this allowed us to avoid traffic jams and crowds even on a holiday, making for a comfortable tour. The guide explained everything slowly and clearly in both Japanese and English, which was very reassuring. I was impressed by the experience and skill of the guide.

Although it was a tour after a heavy snow warning, the contrast between the high snow piles and the blue sky was stunning, truly a perfect day for photography. I was able to fully enjoy it.

The lunch might have been a bit small for younger people, but it was sufficient for middle-aged and older guests. However, it may have been a bit salty for foreign visitors overall.

Even though I knew about the Karakuri Pass and the making of "Hōshō," seeing it in person was completely different. Just confirming that there are still so many interesting and educational domestic tourism options made participating in this tour worthwhile.

It was a content-rich experience that I can recommend to many people.

On December 29, 2024, I participated in a sightseeing tour of Shirakawa-go and Takayama. Starting from the urban landscape of Nagoya, the scenery transformed into lush green mountains, brown coniferous forests, and a snow-covered silver world, which was truly breathtaking. This time, I stayed overnight in Nagoya for a live event and was wondering where to go the next day. I had always wanted to visit the snowy Shirakawa-go, so when I searched, I found this bus tour. I was a bit worried since it was available in Chinese, English, and Japanese (I wonder how many Japanese people were there?), but the guide talked non-stop and provided various explanations, including popular shops and recommended meals. The meeting and departure times were strictly followed, and the tour ended without any issues. Some people reclined their bus seats or brushed off the snow that had accumulated on their coats inside the bus, but it seemed there were no issues regarding that.

今回、ライブで名古屋に1泊して次の日どこへ出かけようかと。

集合出発時間も、きちんと守られて問題無くツアーも終了しました。
バスの座席を倒したり、コートに積もった雪をバスの中で払ったりする方もいらっしゃいましたが、その辺りは注意はなかったようです。

Traveling from Hakata to Miyazaki can be challenging using public transportation, so I was able to efficiently visit various locations by taking the bus. However, there were many Chinese tourists, and most of the explanations on the bus were in Chinese. I would have appreciated more detailed explanations in Japanese.

博多から宮﨑は公共交通機関だと訪問しにくいので、バスで移動して効率よく各箇所を訪問することができました。ただ中国の方が多くバス車内での説明が中国語が大半で日本語での詳しい説明が欲しかったです。

Visiting Dazaifu. My first stroll around Yufuin. I thought Yufuin would have a more rundown feel, but the prices were high and it was too lively, which was disappointing. The Beppu ropeway offered a great view of Beppu. The hell tour allowed us to eat onsen tamago and drink ramune. The foot bath was also pleasantly hot. It was a good day with both sightseeing and experiences.

太宰府での見学。初めての湯布院散策。湯布院は、しなびた感じかなと思っていたが、物は高いし、にぎやかすぎてがっかりしました。別府のロープウェイは、別府が一望できてよかった。地獄めぐりは、温泉たまごが食べられ、ラムネが飲めた。足湯も熱めで良かった。見学あり、体験ありの一日が良かった。
