First of all, the starry sky was wonderful. Also, the enthusiasm and information from the cute guide about the flora and fauna of Iriomote Island made the jungle experience so much more enjoyable!

I participated in a course that takes you from Taiko Rock to Jomon Sugi in one day! I'm glad I was able to visit both spots. However, the guide's pace was very fast, and I struggled to keep up. I couldn't enjoy the scenery and ended up looking down the whole time. The guide's pace was so quick that even tying my shoelaces or stopping briefly to look at the view made me lose sight of the group. There were many conversations about it being the fifth consecutive workday and wanting to catch the bus back at a certain time, which made it feel like everyone was just eager to get back quickly. I had imagined a trekking experience where I could enjoy nature, but it turned out to be a very exhausting trek, which was quite disappointing.

太鼓岩から縄文杉を1日で回るコースに参加しました！2つのスポットを回れてよかったです。しかし、ガイドさんのペースがとても早く、着いて行くのに必死でした。景色を堪能できず最後まで下ばかりを向いて終わってしまいました。ガイドさんのペースは靴紐を結んでいたり、少し止まって景色を見るだけでも見失ってしまうほど早かったです。始めの時点で今日で5連勤目だとか、帰りのバスは何時のには乗りたいといった会話が多く、自分が早く帰ることに必死でした。
自然を堪能しながらのトレッキングを想像していましたが、ただただ疲れ果てたトレッキングになってしまったのがとても残念です。

We participated as a couple. From start to finish, we felt the kindness of all the staff, and we had a great time! I struggled a bit with paddling, and my arms ended up sore, haha. We also encountered blue and striped small fish, and I was happy that we got to take a lot of photos as a group. The final video was touching! I appreciated the service at the end and the recommendations for places to eat. I would love to do this again when I come back to Miyako Island! ⭐︎

夫婦2人で参加しました。最初から最後までスタッフさん全員の対応に優しさを感じて、とても楽しく過ごせました！中々うまく漕げなくて腕が筋肉痛になりました笑 ブルーやシマシマの小魚達にも出逢えましたし、グループごとに沢山の写真を撮っていただけて嬉しかったです。最後のムービーも感激でした！最後にサービスをしてくれたり、おすすめのお店などを教えてくれてありがたかったです(*´꒳`*)また宮古島に来た時はお願いしたいです⭐︎

Knowing it would be a 10-hour round trip, I prepared by hiking and running in the nearby mountains. The guide shared knowledge about Yakusugi trees, other natural plants, animals, and the history of Yakushima while we walked, and although it was long, it felt like we reached Jomon Sugi in no time. The guide was very interesting, and the people in my group were around the same age, making it easy to talk. I really enjoyed my time without feeling lonely, even though I participated alone. I was worried about the restroom situation, but it was fine as long as I went at designated spots. They provided each person with a seat for sitting. We traveled to and from the trailhead by large bus. On the way back, a few people felt unwell due to fatigue and the release of tension. It seems wise to take motion sickness medication and stay hydrated until returning to the lodge.

往復10時間と知り近くの山に登山したりランニングしたりして臨みました。ガイドさんが歩きながら屋久杉やその他の自然植物、動物、屋久島の知識等を話してくれ、長かったけどあっという間に縄文杉に辿り着いた感覚でした。とても面白いガイドさんで、一緒のグループになった人たちも年齢が近く話しやすく、一人で参加しても孤独感なく本当にいい時間を過ごせました。トイレが心配でしたがある場所で行っておけば大丈夫でした。座る用のシートを一人一枚貸してくれます。大型バスで登山口を往復しました。帰りは疲れや緊張感の解けで具合が悪くなる人が数名いました。酔い止めを飲んだり、水分をとったり宿に帰るまで気は抜かない方がよさそうです。

We wanted to fully enjoy the Jomon Sugi, so we requested a private tour.
As a result, it was a great decision!
Thanks to our guide, Konaka, who always paid attention to our condition, my wife, who was anxious about whether she could make it to Jomon Sugi (she had a sleepless night due to nerves the day before), was able to go and return in good spirits.
I was particularly captivated by the stories about Yakushima's plants, history, and Konaka's overseas experiences while walking, which made the long distance feel like it passed in no time!
We were shown many hidden gems that we would never have discovered on our own, and encountering a deer on the way back was also a lot of fun.
The hot miso soup we had for lunch was delicious.
Additionally, Konaka took many photos (very skillfully), and since we received the data at the end, we were able to fully enjoy the scenery without focusing on taking pictures, which was a great help.
It was truly a wonderful experience.

憧れの縄文杉を存分に楽しみたいと思い、プライベートツアーをお願いしました。
結果、大正解！
ガイドのコナカさんが、常に私達のコンディションに気を配ってくださったおかげで、縄文杉までたどりつけるか不安だった妻(前日緊張で睡眠不足）も、元気な状態で行って帰ってくることができました。
特に歩きながら話してくださった、屋久島の植物や歴史・いままでの海外の経験談にに引き込まれているうちに、あの長距離をあっという間を感じたのが驚き！
自分達だけじゃ絶対わからない穴場もたくさん見せてもらい、また帰り道に鹿に遭遇したのも、とても楽しかったです。
昼食時に頂いた、熱々のお味噌汁もおいしかったです。
また、写真を沢山撮ってくれて（非常に上手）最後にデータをいただけるのので、自分たちが撮影に専念せず景色を堪能することができてとても助かりました。
本当に良い経験ができました。

I visited Yakushima for the first time, a place my friends and I had talked about wanting to go for about ten years. I joined a tour to see Jomon Sugi. It was an early morning departure, and it was a full-day tour, but I had a truly memorable and valuable experience.

I heard from the guide that the retirement rate during the tour is relatively high when someone from the same tour group had to retire. I believe it’s important not to underestimate the challenge just because you’re joining a tour; proper preparation, such as training your legs and back by walking beforehand or climbing a nearby mountain, is essential to reach this destination. I highly recommend visiting at least once in a lifetime.

10年程前から友人といつか絶対行きたいと話していた屋久島へ初訪問。こちらのツアーにて縄文杉を観に行きました。早朝からの出発、1日がかりのツアーでしたが、とても思い出深い貴重な体験ができました。
同じツアーに参加の方がリタイヤされた際、実際ツアーでのリタイヤ率は高めとガイドさんにも伺いました。ツアーに参加するからと甘く考えず、きちんとある程度は事前に歩いて足腰を鍛えたり、近くの山を登ってみるなど準備をしてこそたどり着ける場所だと思います。一生に一度は是非観に行くことをお勧めいたします。

We participated as a couple.
Initially, we planned to experience stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in the ocean, but due to the wind, we changed the location to a river with mangroves for the SUP experience.

◆Impressions
It was my first time trying SUP, but before getting on, I was taught how to ride and paddle, which made me feel secure about participating.
Along the way, thanks to the personalities of the other participants, we were able to enjoy a fun and friendly atmosphere together.

We took a lot of photos, and I was very satisfied.

During the car ride to and from the location, we enjoyed quizzes and discussions about recommended shops, so it was entertaining from start to finish!

当初は海にてサップを体験する予定でしたが、
風の影響もあり、マングローブ林のある川に場所を変更しサップ体験をしました。

◆感想
サップは初体験でしたが、乗る前に乗り方や漕ぎ方を教わり、安心して参加することが出来ました。
道中も他に参加された方の人柄もありましたが、
みんなで和気あいあいと楽しく参加することができました。

沢山写真も撮っていただき、大満足でした。

行き帰りの車内でもクイズやおすすめの店情報の話など退屈せず、最初から最後まで楽しかったです！

Originally, I had planned to visit the Pumpkin Cave, but due to bad weather, that didn't happen. However, they quickly organized an alternative plan, and as a result, I was able to take photos with sea turtles while snorkeling! The snorkeling mainly focuses on enjoying the scenery, so even those who are not good at swimming can easily participate! Additionally, the staff were very friendly and adaptable to irregular situations like bad weather! It became a wonderful memory!

もともとはパンプキン鍾乳洞に行く予定でしたが、悪天候でそれは叶いませんでした。ですが、すぐにそれに代わるプランを組んでくれて、結果的にシュノーケリングでウミガメと写真を撮れました！シュノーケリングも主に景色を見る事がメインで、泳がのが苦手な方でも余裕で参加できます！また、スタッフさんたちはとても親近感があり、悪天候などのイレギュラーにも臨機応変に対応してくれました！最高の思い出になりました！

We went by canoe to Pumpkin Cave, and inside the cave where the sea god resides, we felt our hearts cleansed. During snorkeling, we were also able to see sea turtles!

カヌーでパンプキン鍾乳洞まで行き、海の神様がいらっしゃる鍾乳洞の中では心洗われ、シュノーケリングでは、ウミガメも見ることが出来ました！

I spent a whole day enjoying SUP, snorkeling, and the Pumpkin Cave! Our handsome guide, Kei-kun, taught us various things about the history of Miyako Island, which made it a lot of fun. My wife and I were talking about how Kei-kun must have grown up with the sea in Miyako Island, and we were surprised to hear that he came to Miyako Island this April. It turns out Kei-kun was pretending to have grown up there, haha!

It was unfortunate that it rained in the morning, but since we could borrow wetsuits for free, wearing one made the cold in late October no problem at all.

The beautiful sea, fish, sea turtles, and Pumpkin Cave in Miyako Island were amazing!

丸一日使って、SUP、シュノーケリング、パンプキン鍾乳洞を満喫してきました！
ガイドのイケメンのけいくんが、宮古島の歴史も含めて色々教えてくれたので楽しかったです。
けいくんは、絶対宮古島で海とともに育ったのだろうと妻と話していたら、今年の4月に宮古島に来たと聞いてびっくりしました。

午前中に雨が降っていたのが、残念でしたが、ウエットスーツが無料で借りれたので、それを着れば10月末なら寒さは問題なかったです。

On the day of the trip, due to strong winds, we couldn't go to the Phantom Island, so we quickly changed to canoeing and snorkeling. We had a friendly guide who helped us enjoy the great outdoors! It was my first time canoeing, but the weather was nice, and it felt really good. I will definitely come back for a rematch at Phantom Island!

当日、強風で幻の島に行かないとのことで、急遽カヌー&シュノーケリングに変更。
気さくなお姉さんにガイドしてもらって、大自然を満喫しましたー！！
初めてのカヌーだったけど、天気も良くて凄くきもちよかったです＾＾

It was my first time kayaking, but thanks to the kind instruction on how to paddle, we were able to enjoy exploring the ocean on our own by the end! The kayak was transparent, so when we looked underneath, we could see lots of coral and fish. The guide was very helpful whenever we had trouble, which made us feel secure! The drone footage was also beautifully captured, and we were thrilled to receive a final edited video with our photos! It was my first time in Miyako Island, and I made the best memories! Thank you!

今回初めてのカヤックでしたが、親切に漕ぎ方を教えてくださったお陰で最後には自分たちで楽しく海を回ることができました！！透明なカヤックなので、カヤックの下を覗けば、サンゴとお魚がたくさん見えました。困った時はガイドのお兄さんが助けてくれるので、安心です！！ドローン撮影もとっても綺麗な映像で、私たちの写真を最後に総編集した映像も作ってくださってとっても嬉しかったです！初めての宮古島でしたが最高の思い出ができました！ありがとうございます！

It was raining in the morning, so I thought it might be a no-go. However, it started to lighten up in the afternoon, and it was mostly dry during snorkeling, which was great. I was worried about the wind, but fortunately, it was calm, so we were lucky to make it out to sea. The instructor was kind, and the kids had a wonderful time! ☆

Due to the influence of the wind, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave and instead did snorkeling at an alternative spot. Although it was disappointing not to visit the Blue Cave, the alternative location had a coral farm and a rich variety of fish, so we were able to enjoy ourselves thoroughly.

The process after arriving at the shop involved filling out the necessary information on a registration form, then putting on a wetsuit before walking for about two minutes toward the port. It took about 10 minutes by boat to reach the snorkeling point, and those who were ready entered the water first.

The waters of Okinawa were indeed beautiful; we could clearly see the sandy bottom from the boat, and while snorkeling, we could even see the patterns on the fish at the bottom, which was very enjoyable. During the feeding experience, when I received the food from the instructor, it felt like I was surrounded by a swarm of piranhas before even putting the food in the water.

The shop had six showers, so even with other groups of customers, the turnover was quick, and I was able to shower right away. The photos were sent via LINE on the same day, allowing me to share the memories of the trip immediately, making it a wonderful experience.

風の影響もあり、青の洞窟には行けず代わりのポイントでのシュノーケリングとなりました。
青の洞窟に行けなかったのは残念ですが、代わりのポイントもサンゴの養殖場があり、魚の種類も豊富で十分に楽しむことが出来ました。
ショップに来店してからの流れとしては、ショップで受付書に必要事項を記載して、ウェットスーツを着た後に2分程度港に向けて歩くことになります。
ショップからポイントまでは船で10分程度で到着し、準備できた人から海に入りました。
沖縄の海はさすがで、船の上から底の砂地まではっきりと見える程きれいで、シュノーケリングでも底の魚の模様まで見えて、非常に楽しめました。
餌やり体験も餌をインストラクターさんから受け取ると、水につける前から魚が群がってきたピラニアの群れにたかられているような気分でした。
ショップにはシャワーが６つもあるので、ほかのお客さんグループがいても回転早く、すぐに浴びることができました。
写真もラインでその日のうちに届いたので、旅の思い出もすぐに共有できて、素晴らしい体験となりました。

This time, due to the high tide, the Blue Cave snorkeling tour was canceled, and only the mangrove kayak tour was available. However, they contacted us the day before to inform us about the cancellation, allowing us to choose between participating in the mangrove kayak tour or canceling (they also offered a refund!). We decided to participate in the mangrove kayak tour!

They came to pick us up at our hotel, which was very helpful and appreciated! The staff's cheerful personality and attentive service made it very enjoyable.

Once we started, the explanations were thorough and easy to understand, making it simple to get accustomed to kayaking! During the tour, we also heard various stories and had fun taking photos. After it ended, they sent us the photos they took via our phones, allowing us to reflect on the memories. It turned out to be a very fulfilling and enjoyable experience!

今回は高潮の影響で青の洞窟シュノーケリングツアーの方は中止となり、マングローブカヤックツアーのみとなったのですが、しっかりと中止となってしまった件も前日にご連絡下さって、マングローブカヤックツアーのみの参加かキャンセル(返金対応もして頂けるようです！)を選べて、今回自分達はマングローブカヤックツアーに参加させて頂きました！
ホテルまで送迎に来て下さりそこからまずとても有難くて助かりました！！
そして、スタッフさんの明るい性格や丁寧な対応で
とても気持ち良く楽しむことが出来ました！
実際、始まってからも丁寧な説明で分かりやすく
スムーズにカヤックに慣れて簡単でした！！
ツアー中にも色々な話も聞かせて頂いたり、
写真を撮って頂いたりととても楽しかったです！
終わった後に、撮って頂いた写真も携帯で送って頂けて思い出を振り返ることもできて、

The guide was wonderful, and it was a highly satisfying private tour.

When walking for long hours, pacing is important, and they created the optimal plan tailored to our fitness levels and skills. They constantly checked in with us about the time needed to reach the next highlight and took breaks at appropriate intervals, allowing us to continue walking without strain.

The course itself isn't difficult, but since the walking time is long, I was glad I had trained beforehand on mountains with similar distances and elevation changes.

Being a private tour, we had the freedom to set our walking pace and take photo breaks without needing to match others, which was stress-free. While individual tours often lead to many scenic photos, we were able to take family pictures from various angles, making for great memories.

The guide had a deep knowledge of Yakushima's geography, nature, and history, and we heard many interesting stories. Their clear and cheerful way of speaking made it easy to hear even from the back of the group. The charm of Yakushima was fully conveyed, and I felt an immediate desire to visit again.

ガイドさんが素晴らしく、大満足のプライベートツアーでした。

長時間歩くとなるとペース配分が重要ですが、私たちの体力や技術に合わせて最適なプランを組んで頂けました。次の見所までの所要時間をこまめに教えてくれたり、適度に休憩を取ってくれたりと絶えず気遣い頂いたおかげで、無理なく歩き続けられました。

コース自体は難しくないですが歩行時間が長いため、事前に同じ程度の距離や高低差の山で繰り返しトレーニングしておいて良かったです。

プライベートツアーなので歩くペースや写真タイムなどが自由で、他の方に合わせる必要がなかった点もストレスフリーで良かったです。個人だと景色の写真が多くなりがちですが、家族写真を色んなアングルで撮影頂けて良い記念になりました。

ガイドさんは屋久島の地理や自然、歴史等への造詣が深く、興味深いお話をたくさん聞けました。はきはきと明るい話し方で、列の後方にいても十分聞き取れました。屋久島の魅力が存分に伝わり、すぐにでも再訪したくなりました。

I was worried that the bad weather would prevent us from seeing the stars, but the wind cleared the clouds, and we were able to enjoy the best starry sky. The stars in the pitch darkness, the bioluminescent plankton, the fireflies, and the mangroves created a truly magical and wonderful experience.

I joined this tour because I wanted to visit the Oishi Forest Mountain. It’s quite difficult to get to the northern part of Okinawa on my own, so the bus tour was very helpful. The lunch along the way was also very delicious. Since the main purpose was Oishi Forest Mountain, to be honest, I wished I could have explored a bit more leisurely and seen everything.

大石林山に行きたくてこのツアーに参加しました。なかなか沖縄北部までは自己では行きにくい為、バスツアーがありとても助かりました。
途中の昼食もとても美味しく頂けました。
大石林山が目的だったので、もう少しじっくり散策しながら、全てをまわりたかったというのが正直なところです。

Even beginners in mountain climbing can enjoy it. It's helpful that they can pick you up since the trailhead is far from the accommodation. Also, we will be active for about 12 hours, but having a guide made it possible to continue walking happily.

登山初心者も楽しめました。
宿から登山口まで遠いので、ピックアップしてもらえるのは助かります。
また、１２時間ほど活動することになりますが、ガイドの方がいるからこそ、楽しく歩き続けることができました。

First, we landed on the Phantom Island after snorkeling. I participated in the morning tour, and we were able to go at a relatively relaxed pace. The weather was nice, and it was a highly satisfying tour.

まずはシュノーケル後幻の島に上陸。午前のツアーに参加しましたが、比較的ゆっくり回れました。天気も良くて満足度の高いツアーでした。

The content of the tour was good, as many have mentioned. I was really looking forward to receiving the photos taken during the tour (I exchanged LINE contacts with the guide after the tour). However, more than a week passed with no news at all. When I reached out in concern, I was told, "The photo data is deleted after a week, so we no longer have it." Is it really the case that I wouldn't receive anything unless I contacted them? Moreover, they mentioned, "If you don't hear from us two days after the tour, please contact us," but no one I participated with remembers hearing that. Isn't that phrasing usually based on the assumption that they would send the photos first? I gave up since there's no changing the fact that the photo data is gone, but I can't accept this situation at all. There are reviews stating that some guides provided the photo data immediately, so there might be inconsistencies. I urge those who will participate in the future to be very careful.

ツアー自体の内容は多くの方が書かれている通りでよかった。その分ツアー中に撮影してもらった写真をもらえるのをとても楽しみにしていた（ツアー終了後にガイドとLINE交換する）。しかし１週間以上経っても全く音沙汰なし。不安になって連絡してみると，「写真データは１週間経てば消去するためもう手元にない」と。こちらから連絡しないともらえないことなどあるのか？しかも「ツアー終了後２日経っても連絡がない場合は，お客様から連絡してくださいとツアー中にお伝えしています」と。一緒に参加した人に聞いてもそのようなことは聞いた覚えがないと言っているし，そもそもその文言は通常なら向こうから写真を送ってくる前提では？これ以上言及しても写真データがないことに変わりはないから諦めたが，到底納得できるものでない。ガイドによってはすぐに写真データをくれたという口コミもあるため，当たり外れがあるのかもしれない。これから参加される方はくれぐれも気をつけてください。

Our honeymoon was well taken care of, and it became a wonderful memory for us as a couple! The staff were very attentive, and we were able to enjoy our first snorkeling experience. We also got beautiful photos taken, and we are very satisfied!

I participated alone. There were more participants than I expected, and the boat was fully booked. I have a license, but I was anxious due to a 10-year gap, so I opted for an introductory dive instead of a fun dive. I was glad I made this choice because I was able to enjoy both snorkeling and diving. I also got to take a lot of photos.

一人で参加しました。思ったより参加者が多くて船は満席でした。
ライセンスは持っているのですが、10年以上のブランクがあって不安だったので、ファンダイビングではなく体験ダイビングにしておきました。
シュノーケリングとダイビングの両方楽しめたので、これにして良かったです。写真もいっぱい撮ってもらえました。

I boarded the boat for the 7 AM departure. Fortunately, it was just my spouse and me, so we had the boat to ourselves. The foreign captain said, "You're lucky! Today, just the two of you will get to see the best crystal blue cave," and he set off a little earlier than scheduled.

He was truly skilled in conversation and consideration. During the trip, he provided detailed explanations while asking, "How are you feeling? Let's cruise in style!" He kept the atmosphere light and brought laughter while operating the boat.

Although the cave wasn't very large, the blue color of the sea sparkled beautifully at the bottom, creating a stunning crystal blue. I was deeply moved. I would love to make a reservation here again.

運良く、夫婦で貸し切り。
外国人の船長さんが、「ラッキーですね！今日はお二人で、最高のクリスタルブルーの洞窟見られますよ」
と、少し早めに出航してくれました。

本当にトークと気遣いが、上手な方で、
道中、詳しい説明しながら「ご気分いかがですか？では
カッコ良くクルーズしま～す！」と、
和ませながら、笑いをとりながら、運行。

洞窟内は広くはないものの、
青い海の色が底にキラキラ反射して、なんとも美しい
クリスタルブルー。感動しました。
またこちらで、予約したいです。

This tour is quite physically demanding. Of course, you will receive communication from the tour operator in advance. However, it seems that if you misjudge your physical condition, you may end up unable to move due to illness or injury. The schedule is also tight, and I felt like I was being rushed along by the guide. I was scolded for not having a protector for my trekking poles, which was not mentioned in the prior communication. Caution is necessary. To fully enjoy the beautiful nature and scenery, I recommend being well-prepared physically.

体力的に結構厳しいツアーです。
もちろん、事前にツアー運営会社から連絡あります。ただ自分の体力を見誤ると体調不良や怪我で動けなくなることがよくあるツアーだそうです。スケジュール的にも厳しく、ガイドさんに追い立てられるように引っ張られました。
トレッキングポールはプロテクターが無いと使えないと怒られました。事前の連絡では記載なかった事です。注意が必要。
せっかくの大自然、景色を堪能するには体力を十分つけて臨むことをお勧めします。

What impressed me the most was that they filmed us kayaking in the ocean with a drone, edited the footage, and gifted it to us. The editing was wonderful, and it became a very nice memory. Thank you very much!

We were blessed with good weather and were able to see the slightly misty Jomon Sugi. I participated alone and was quite anxious about whether I could make it to the top based on the experiences I heard. I usually don't exercise much, only going hiking once a year. I prepared my stamina with an hour of running for a month beforehand.

There were four of us: one female student and two other women. The guide kept us engaged with quizzes and explanations about the spots, which helped us focus less on the walking, so it felt like we arrived much quicker than I expected! (The quizzes were difficult, and my brain was tired.)

The guide took a lot of photos, using wonderful angles and techniques, and thanks to that, we were able to capture some great shots with the trees. Honestly, watching other guides, I thought, "We really hit the jackpot." So, I believe it depends on luck. Each guide must have their own unique qualities!

It’s truly impressive how the guides can keep talking while carrying heavy loads! For lunch, we were treated to pork miso soup, which was so delicious that it could be said the guide fee was worth it just for that!

As mentioned in the reviews, it was indeed at a fast pace, but thanks to that, we didn’t have to wait for the restroom, could take our time for photos at Jomon Sugi, and boarded the return bus without waiting. If you push yourself, you will definitely get your money's worth!

I also think the number of participants, their stamina differences, and personalities were just right this time. (Most of the quizzes were answered by the excellent members.)

I had heard of Jomon Sugi, but it still felt far away (≡ε≡；). I wished I could get closer to truly appreciate its size. However, the guide mentioned that even they rarely get to touch it, so I guess it can’t be helped (tears). Therefore, the most moving part was at the place of the deity, Okotojin.

I debated whether to rent trekking poles, but I think not many people were using them. It seemed more practical to use my hands for a lot of four-legged walking, so they might actually be a hindrance. Gloves were much more useful.

I usually wear high-cut trekking shoes, but this time I rented mid-cut ones in Yakushima, which made me anxious. However, since the Jomon Sugi trek has many trolley paths, it seems that high-cuts can cause blisters due to the edges. I realized that it’s best to learn from those who know the mountain well and adjust accordingly.

天気にも恵まれ少し霧掛かった縄文杉を見る事ができました。
1人参加で体験談を聞いた限り、ちゃんと登り切れるかかなり不安で挑みました。
普段運動はせず、年に1回山登りをする程度。
1ヶ月前から1時間のランニングで体力の準備はしました。
女子学生さん1人と、女性2人組との4人メンバでした。
ガイドさんは終始、クイズを出したり、スポットの説明をしてくださり、歩くことに集中しすぎず進む事ができたので、思っていたよりもあっという間に着いちゃったなと言う印象でした！(※クイズは難しくて頭は疲れました)
写真もいっぱい撮ってくださって、しかも素敵なアングルや撮影技術を駆使して撮ってくださり、お陰で木霊も出て来てくれて一緒に写真を撮る事が出来ました(*´︶`*)♡
正直、自分達以外のガイドを見てると、「自分達は大当たりだったんだな」と思いました。なのでやはりそこは運次第だと思います。きっとそれぞれのガイドさんにそれぞれの持ち味があるんだと思います！
でもあんなにずっと喋り続けながら重い荷物を持って歩けるガイドさん達は本当にすごいです！
ランチでは豚汁をご馳走してもらいました！この為のガイド料と言っても過言でないぐらい美味しかったです！
口コミにあるように確かにハイペースではありましたが、お陰でトイレは並ばずに入れたし、縄文杉のところでゆっくり写真は撮れたし、帰りのバスも待つ事なく乗れたし。頑張ればちゃんとお釣りが来ます！
あとはツアーメンバーの参加人数や体力差やキャラクターも今回は丁度良かったんだろうなと思いました。(クイズはほとんど優秀なメンバーさん達に答えてもらいました)

縄文杉は知ってはいましたが、やっぱり遠かったぁ(≡ε≡；)
もっと近くに行って大きさを実感したかったなぁと思っちゃいます。
でもガイドさんでも触れる事は滅多にないとの事なので、仕方がないんだろうなー(涙
なので、1番の感動は乙事主様のところでしたね！

ストックをレンタルした方がいいか悩みましたが、使ってる人はあまりいなかったと思います。それよりも手を使って四足歩行になる事が多いので、逆に邪魔かな。グローブの方が重宝しました。

トレッキングシューズはいつもハイカットを履いているのですが、今回は屋久島でレンタルしたところミドルカットが来て不安になりました。でも縄文杉トレッキングはトロッコ道が多いのでむしろハイカットだと縁で靴擦れを起こしてしまう人がいるそうです。やはりその山を知り尽くしている人に教えてもらって合わせるのが良いんだなと思いました。

It was easier than I imagined since there weren't as many steep slopes (we climbed quite a bit by bus at first), and we took breaks and stopped for photo spots! The guide took great photos at key points, and of course, we heard various explanations about the Yakusugi and Yakushima. They also managed the pace well, so I'm really glad I joined the tour! The main Jomon Sugi is currently surrounded by a lot of grass and plants, so you can't see the base... I heard they are currently applying for permission to clear the vegetation. However, there are plenty of Yakusugi trees along the way, and I was satisfied being able to see and touch them up close.

休憩や写真スポットで立ち止まったりするのと、急勾配が思ったよりなかったので（最初バスでかなり登りました）想像よりも楽でした！
ガイドさんも要所でいい感じに写真を撮ってくれ、もちろん屋久杉や屋久島の説明も色々聞けて、ペース配分もしっかりしてくれるので、やはりツアーに参加してよかったです！
メインの縄文杉は今は足元にかなりの草木が生い茂っていて根元が見えず、、、国に草木の伐採の申請中だそうです。でもそこまでにも屋久杉は沢山あって、近くで見れたり触れたりするので満足です。
