The swimming was more extensive and longer than I imagined, but he provided advice at every turn and kept an eye on our movements, allowing us to enjoy it at our own pace! Additionally, I was worried about the location change the day before and whether we would see sea turtles, but he guided us to a spot with a high chance of seeing them. Even with many other customers around, he helped us take beautiful photos safely! Even though we couldn't get close to the sea turtles right away, he patiently waited for the right moment, and we were able to take photos with the turtles successfully! The photos were delivered the same day, and the recommendations for tourist spots in Miyako Island were very helpful! Everyone, including those who weren't our guide, treated us well, and if I have the opportunity to visit Miyako Island again, I would definitely like to request their services!

I was looking forward to seeing sea turtles, but the cave tour from the canoe in the morning exceeded my expectations and was very satisfying. 🧐 I enjoyed Miyako Island all at once! I had a dream of doing stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Many SUP experiences have an age limit of 65, so I hurriedly made plans to go to Miyako Island. I chose this place because they offered clear boards and would take photos for us. During the experience, everyone was kind and provided gentle guidance, which made me feel secure as they were always there to support us. I thought it was great that one person was assigned to each group. The photos and video data we received were beautifully edited and truly moving works. I was surprised to receive such wonderful content on the spot, and it became a really great memory.

The strong winds from Typhoon No. 21 were a concern, but once I entered the sea, a calm world unfolded where fish swam gracefully. I quickly encountered a school of silver-scaled fish, which I learned were called "kibinago." They can only be seen in beautiful seas, and it felt almost surreal, like a snowstorm.

Before long, I was able to meet several sea turtles! Perhaps it was lunchtime, as each turtle was blissfully munching on the rocks. They were truly adorable and brought me so much joy. I was incredibly lucky to swim alongside them as they moved from rock to rock. I was also thrilled to have beautiful videos taken during the experience.

In addition to clownfish wrapped in pure white sea anemones and colorful tropical fish, I was able to see pufferfish and mantis shrimp, which I might have missed if not for the guidance of our knowledgeable guide.

Even a week later, I can still relive these wonderful moments thanks to the guide's expertise and the beautiful recording service. Thank you!

台風21号の影響で風が強かったのですが、海に入ると一転、魚たちが悠々と泳ぐ穏やかな世界が広がっていました。
すぐに銀鱗の群れに出会い、キビナゴだと教えてもらいました。

昼食タイムだったのかどのカメも岩に向かって無心にハムハム♡本当に愛らしくて癒されました♡♡
岩から岩へ移動する後を追って一緒に泳ぐこともでき本当に幸運でした。
動画もキレイに撮っていただき感激です。

真っ白なイソギンチャクに包まれるクマノミや色鮮やかな熱帯魚の他、ガイドさんに教えてもらわなければ見落としてしまうようなフグやシャコガイなども見ることができました。

1週間経った今でもこうして感動を重ねて味わうことができるのも現地を熟知しているガイドさんの案内と美しい録画サービスがあったからこそです。

In the morning, I did stand-up paddleboarding, and in the afternoon, I went snorkeling. I made a reservation around 6 PM the day before, but shortly after, I received a call from the staff saying that due to rough seas, we couldn't go to the Phantom Island. However, they changed our plan to snorkeling, and I participated.

During stand-up paddleboarding, the waves were almost non-existent, and it was my first experience, but I didn't fall even once. I was able to paddle while standing and enjoy the scenery. The instructor pointed out a starfish, and I was able to see it. Depending on the weather, other participants were taking sun protection measures with hats, sunglasses, and leggings.

After about an hour and a half for lunch, we went snorkeling. The sea was a bit murky, but I was able to see many colorful fish, which was fun. Perhaps the tours to the nearby islands have clearer waters.

That day, for both lunch and dinner, I went to restaurants recommended by the instructor, and both were delicious. That night, I received photos taken by the instructor via LINE, allowing me to reflect on the memories. サップでは、波がほとんど立っておらずはじめての体験でしたが一度も落ちなかったです。立ったままこいで景色を楽しめました。ヒトデもインストラクターの方にあそこにいるよーと教えていただき見ることができました。天候にもよるかと思いますが、他の参加者の方は帽子、サングラス、レギンスなどで日焼け対策されてました。
その後1時間半ほどの昼食を挟んでシュノーケルへ。
海は少し濁ってましたがカラフルな魚がたくさん見れて楽しかったです。もしかしたら離島のツアーの方が海はきれいなのかもしれません。
その日は昼食も夕食もインストラクターのかたのおすすめのレストランにいきましたがいずれも美味しかったです。
参加した日の夜には、インストラクターの方が撮ってくださった写真がラインで送られてきましたので、思い出を振り返ることができました。海辺だとスマホは落としてしまう可能性があるので自分では写真を撮りにくいと思います。
インストラクターさんは午前と午後で別の方でした。それぞれ送迎の車の中で石垣島のお話をしてくださいます。アクティビティはそれほど体力を使うこともなく楽しめましたし小学生高学年くらいの方もいました。
修学旅行生など大きな団体も受け付けている会社さんのようです。

I went in early November. Even though it's November, Ishigaki Island was still hot and humid enough to be considered summer, and by the end of the tour, I was quite sweaty. We got off about 30 minutes by car from Ishigaki Port and crossed through the jungle while searching for creatures, then went to the beach to see the starry sky. Unfortunately, the sky was somewhat cloudy, so we couldn't see the stars very well, but I was satisfied to encounter small coconut crabs, hermit crabs, and larger frogs in the jungle along the way. It's easy to go and you won't get wet, so I recommend it for those who love creatures and astronomy.

I participated with two ladies in their 70s. I was worried about keeping up with the pace of others, so we opted for a private tour. Choosing a private tour was definitely the right decision. I had trained on low mountains, but it turned out to be harder than I expected. The trolley path was nice, but as soon as we hit the mountain trail, the steep climbs, stones, tree roots, and steep stairs were intimidating. Without the encouragement from our guide, I think I would have given up. Thank you so much, Wakisaka-san.

The joy and sense of achievement when I met Jomon Sugi is a lifelong memory. We were blessed with good weather, encountered deer along the way, and everything from Wilson's stump to the Great King Cedar was wonderful. I also appreciate the warm miso soup that was prepared for us during lunch. We took a lot of photos as well.

At the very end, about 30 minutes from the trolley path, I tripped over a sleeper and fell face-first. I only ended up with a bump on my head, so it wasn't serious, but it really reminded me not to let my guard down until the very end. Thank you so much, guide Wakisaka-san.

他の方のペースに着いていけるか心配だったので貸切ツアーにしました。
貸切で大正解でした。低山でトレーニングして臨んだのですが、思った以上にハードでした。トロッコ道は良かったのですが、山道になった途端の急登、石や木の根っこ、急な階段も怖かったです。
ガイドさんの励ましがなかったら心折れて諦めたと思います。脇坂さん、本当にありがとうございました。
縄文杉に逢えた時の嬉しさ達成感、一生の思い出です。天気に恵まれ、途中鹿さんにも逢え、ウィルソン株、大王杉どれも素晴らしかった。昼食時には温かい味噌汁も作って頂き感謝です。
写真もたくさん撮って頂きました。
最後の最後トロッコ道残り30分位の所で枕木に足を取られ顔から転んでしまいました。タンコブが出来ただけで大事には至らなかったのですが、本当に最後の最後迄気を抜いたらダメですね。

Due to the approach of an out-of-season typhoon, the Pumpkin Cave and sea kayaking were canceled, but I was able to participate in the sea turtle snorkeling. I received a cancellation notice via email the day before and also received a phone call, allowing me to book only the sea turtle snorkeling, and the refund process was smooth. On the day of the tour, we departed early to enjoy the experience before the sea conditions worsened. Thanks to that, I was able to experience the beautiful sea in nice weather. I visited Ishigaki Island for the first time with friends in their 20s from Kansai.

While paddling on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) through the mangrove forest, which thrives in water, we had to get off and take a break at one point because the muddy ground was really sticky. Instead of being surrounded by trees, we were enveloped by the mangrove forest by the water's edge, which made us feel very connected to nature, and the gentle rocking on the water was quite pleasant.

As long as you don't fall in, you can safely use your phone in a waterproof case!

As for snorkeling, I couldn't imagine the water temperature in November, which is unusual for Kansai, but thanks to the wetsuit, I only felt cold when I first stepped into the water. We were able to see the clear sea, which is not something you usually encounter, along with many types of fish and corals, and as the title suggests, we even spotted a sea turtle! Since we were basically in the water, I was able to take photos underwater with my phone in a waterproof case!

水に浸りながら育っているマングローブの森、海水と淡水でできた川のため途中でsupから降り休憩したのですが沼地のようにすごく足を取られました。一面を森ではなく下が水辺のマングローブの森に囲まれとても自然を感じられ、水に揺られとても心地よかったです。

11月の海が関西では有り得ないため水温の想像が出来ませんでしたが海に入る前も後もウェットスーツおかげか寒いなどの感想は海に足を入れた時のみでした。普段見ることは出来ない透明な海とたくさんの種類の魚やサンゴが見られ、タイトルのようにウミガメを見ることもできました。
こちらは基本的に海に浸かっているので防水ケースに入れた携帯なら水の中でも写真を撮れました！

I booked a SUP and snorkeling tour at Kabira Bay, but it was canceled due to rough seas. Instead, I was offered a mangrove canoe tour on the Miyara River.

Although the changes in pricing and meeting location were handled the day before, they were very courteous, and I was able to enjoy the tour safely on the day itself, which was great! However, while the original plan was for a full day tour, the mangrove tour ended up being only about an hour long. The guide's stories during the tour were enjoyable, and canoeing was easy, so it was fulfilling but went by quickly. I would love to participate again on a sunny day!

川平湾SUP・シュノーケリングツアーを予約しましたが、海が荒れてしまい中止に。代わりに宮良川でのマングローブカヌーツアーの提案をして頂きました。
金額変更や集合場所など前日での対応でしたが、丁寧にしてもらい、当日も無事楽しむことも出来たのでよかったです！
ただ、1日かけてツアーを行う予定でしたが、マングローブツアーは1時間ほどで終わってしまいます。ツアー中のガイドさんのお話も楽しく、カヌーは簡単に乗れたので、充実していますがあっという間でした。次は晴れた日にも参加したいです！
