The guide on the day was an intern. There was also a veteran guide on board, but they only greeted the passengers at the beginning, and after that, the intern took charge the entire time.

I was satisfied with the content of the tour itself. However, the intern's guidance was so poor that it was the worst experience. They ended every explanation with "it seems like..." and kept asking the veteran guide questions during the tour, getting corrected each time.

When they said "it seems like..." I felt like saying, "I could have looked that up myself!" I didn't understand the purpose of having a guide. Before the sightseeing, they said, "I recommend this place," but when we went there, it was closed for the day. After returning from the sightseeing, they casually mentioned, "I forgot that place is closed today." Even though they are an intern, I was astonished at how little they knew.

Also, their way of speaking was rough. They might have intended to be friendly, but they didn't use Japanese correctly and relied too much on slang, which made it hard to listen to. I wouldn't say the intern guide was bad, but I think they should study more internally before presenting themselves in front of customers.

当日のガイドさんがインターンの人でした。ベテランのガイドさんも乗っていたのですが、最初に乗客に挨拶しただけで、あとはずっとインターンが取り仕切っていました。
ツアーの内容自体は満足でした。
ですが、インターンの案内が下手過ぎて最悪でした。すべての説明の語尾に「～らしいです」とつけるのです。案内の途中でもベテランガイドさんにいちいち質問してるし、訂正されてるし。
「～らしいです」って言われても、そんなのあなたから聞かなくても、自分で調べられるわ！って言いそうになりました。なんのためのガイドか意味がわかりませんでした。
観光前に「〇〇がお勧めです」と言いながら、そのお店は行ってみたら当日閉まっているし。観光から戻ってきて帰路についたら、「〇〇は今日閉まっているの忘れてましたー」ってのうのうと言いのけるし。いくらインターンと言えど、何も把握してなくて、呆れました。
あと、話し方が乱暴です。フレンドリーにしたいつもりなのかもしれませんが、日本語も正しく使用できていないし、若者言葉を多用しすぎで聞き苦しかったです。インターンのガイドが悪いとは言いませんが、お客様の前に出す前に、社内で勉強してから人前に出るべきだと思いました。

Visiting Taketomi Island with my 5-year-old and 1-year-old was fantastic. I believe the round-trip ferry fare, water buffalo ride, and one-day rental bike price is unbeatable! It was a great help that we could rent a family bicycle. Since we didn't have a rental car, the hotel pick-up service was especially convenient! Everyone was very kind, and it turned out to be a fun trip! I would love to use this service again. Thank you!

5歳、1歳の子供を連れての竹富島。往復の乗船料、水牛、一日レンタサイクルでこの値段は他には絶対ないと思います！レンタサイクルも親子自転車が借りられて助かりました。我が家はレンタカーをつけてなかったので、ホテルへの送迎付きが何より助かりました！みなさんとても親切で、楽しい旅になりました！また利用したいです。ありがとうございました！

Since I had a short stay, I chose the Shiratani Unsuikyo & Taiko Rock & Jomon Sugi greedy course. I knew it was meant for physically fit people, but I thought I could manage. However, it really is not suitable for anyone who isn't in great shape! I was still okay in the first half, but on the way back in the second half, my knees started to hurt, and it was tough. I was so exhausted that I couldn't even feel moved when I saw Jomon Sugi. I didn't even have the energy to take photos; all I felt was tiredness and pain in my legs. Let's choose a course that suits our abilities!

滞在日数が少なかったので、白谷雲水峡&太鼓岩&縄文杉のよくばりコースにしました。
体力のある人向けとは分かっていましたが、なんとかなるだろうと選んだのですが
ホントに体力ある人しか選んじゃダメですね！
前半はまだ余裕があったのですが、後半帰り道ヒザが痛くなり、辛かったです。
余裕がなさすぎて、縄文杉を見ても全く感動できなかったほど。
写真を、撮る余裕もなく、疲れたのと、足が痛いのだけでした。
身の丈に合ったコースを選びましょう！

Very happy --the guides are great/helpful --recommend to everybody to take this tour

I was a little disappointed because the guide seemed more like a resident, and I wanted to hear more about the local Okinawan dialect and accent. However, I had a great time and really enjoyed myself.

ガイドさんがほぼ移住の方のようで
現地の沖縄の方言とか訛りの話し方が聞いてみたかったなぁと思ってたのでちょっと残念。
でもとても楽しかったですよ。満喫できました。

After the passage of Typhoon No. 18, there were concerns about the itinerary, but we were able to depart safely by reversing the schedule. We enjoyed a leisurely trip under the blue sky, riding the water buffalo carts on both Taketomi Island and Yubu Island. The lunch bento we had on Yubu Island was also delicious.

台風18号の通過後で履行が危ぶまれましたが、スケジュールを逆周りにするということで無事に出発できました。
竹富島と由布島のどちらの水牛車にも乗り、青空の下ゆったりのんびりとした旅を満喫出来ました。
由布島で食べたお昼のお弁当も美味しかったです。

- This is a very efficient plan for sightseeing in Ishigaki Island for those who do not drive.
- By the third day, when we were starting to feel tired, the relaxed morning departure and the option for hotel pickup and airport drop-off were great.
- The scenery was beautiful, of course, but the history of the Tomb of the Chinese and the explanation of the island songs from our guide were very moving.
- As mentioned in other comments, if you take a glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay, you won't have time to enjoy the view from the observation deck, so we went to see the scenery of Kabira Bay separately.

・初めての石垣島観光で、車を運転しない者にとって、とても効率良く石垣島の観光地を周れるプランです。
・そろそろ疲れの出始めた3日目でしたが、朝の出発もゆったりで、ホテルでのピックアップおよび空港下車が選択出来たのも良かったです。
・景色が美しいのはもちろんでしたが、ガイドさんから伺った唐人墓の歴史や、島唄の解説はとても感慨ふかかったです。
・他の方のコメントにもありましたが、川平湾でグラスボートに乗ると、展望台からの景色を観る時間はなくなってしまうので、私たちは川平湾の景色は別途観に行きました。

- It was a tour involving multiple operators, including a ferry to the remote islands, a boat on Iriomote Island, a bus, a water buffalo cart to Yubu Island, lunch, and rental bicycles on Taketomi Island. Everything was very well coordinated, allowing for smooth sightseeing without any confusion.
- It was also great that the boat captain on Iriomote Island, the bus driver, and the water buffalo cart operator provided explanations.
- Contrary to the weather forecast, we were blessed with good weather for three days and were able to enjoy very beautiful scenery. Even the photos I took look stunning!

・3つの離島を巡るため、離島へ渡る船、西表島でのボート、バス、由布島へ渡る水牛車、ランチ、竹富島でのレンタサイクル等、複数の業者が関わるツアーでしたが、非常に良くコーディネートされていて、迷うことなくスムーズに観光出来ました。
・西表島でのボートの操縦士さんやバスの運転手さん、水牛車の操者の方が解説をしてくださるのも良かったです。
・事前の天気予報と変わって、3日間天気に恵まれ、とても美しい景色を堪能出来ました。自分で撮った写真ですら美しいと思える景色です！

We participated in a Jomon Sugi trekking tour as a couple, and we were blessed with good weather. It was quite warm for October, and we were able to experience the overwhelming nature of Yakushima, which made us forget our daily lives and return to our childhood spirit. However, due to our usual lack of exercise, both our physical and mental limits were pushed beyond what we expected. Thanks to the generous support and extensive knowledge of our guide, Ishigawa, we were able to have a moving experience at Jomon Sugi and safely return home, for which we are truly grateful.

今回夫婦で縄文杉トレッキングツアーに参加させて頂きましたが、天候にも恵まれ10月としては暑いぐらいの陽気の中、屋久島の圧倒的な大自然に触れ、日常を忘れて童心に帰った気がしました。とは言え普段の運動不足から気力・体力ともに限界を超え、満身創痍になる中、添乗員の石我さんの手厚いサポートと博識に支えられ何とか縄文杉にも感動的な体面を果たし、無事に帰宅することが出来ましたので、心より感謝しております。

The tour went smoothly and they didn't waste too much time at the lesser sights (pineapple park and butterfly garden). There was plenty of time at the aquarium, which is the highlight of the tour. The traffic coming back was pretty bad so the drop off time was later than expected.

Since it was a veteran guide, we were able to finish safely until the end. However, because they were experienced, I felt that the focus was more on safety and efficiently reaching the destination rather than on the quality of the guiding and entertaining the customers. I believe the enjoyment of trekking to Jomon Sugi depends on the guide, but overall, it was a lot of fun. Thank you very much.

しかしベテランということもあってガイドの質、お客様を楽しませるということより、安全面や順調に効率よく目的地に辿り着くことに重きを置いていると感じました。
ガイドさんで縄文杉のトレッキングの楽しさは決まると思うのですが、トータルではとても楽しかったです。ありがとうございました。

This tour was definitely the highlight of our trip to Japan! Our tour guide Blair was amazing and very informative. Not only did he keep us on schedule but he also gave us extra time at the stop on Mt. Fuji because it was such a nice clear day! All of the stops were very fun and the blueberry ice cream at the lake is a must eat! We we're lucky enough to see Mt Fuji from most of our stops that day including the lake. The 8 ponds also had a lot to do and we bought most of our souvenirs there. The lunch at ninja village is definitely recomended. And the 4d ride was a perfect finish to the whole day. If I had to change something about the tour I would possibly cut out either the ninja village or the 4d ride just to allow for more time at the other stops since it felt a little rushed. The value for your money is amazing and I will be telling all my friends to book this specific tour and request our amazing guide!! Blair was even helpful enough to give us recommendations for the rest of our trip on our bus ride back to shinjuku. Thank you for an amazing experience and we will definitely be back!

My family has been in Japan for few months now, but we did not quite make it to Mount Fuji since it is not as convenient as visiting most of the other sites. As a result, we booked the tour from Veltra which was a good idea. Although the price seemed on higher side, the offer tempted us to go ahead. The bus was good and the seats comfortable with good leg space. We were glad to have been offered an entire row of 4 seats all for ourselves, 2 + 1 kid. Free wi-fi on the bus was a bonus. Due to long weekend, there was more traffic which led to a delay of about an hour and the itinerary was changed, as we first headed to Oshino Ninja village for an early lunch. This place was pretty good with few options for veggies too. We got to click pics with Ninjas. Next stop was at Oshino Hakkai village with lovely fresh water, clear ponds and country-side houses which was picturesque. We then headed to Mt Fuji 5th station where the clouds played a spoil sport and hence we could not get a great view of the mountain. The time allotted here was less than 30 min which I felt was too less, as this was the main site of visit, expected at least an hour. The 4D activity was broken that day and was cancelled. Hence, as an alternate we got a boat ride at lake Kawaguchi and later went to the other side of the lake where we were in for some luck to see the Mt Fuji peak.
Overall a good experience, the guide Jack kept us engaged with information about Japan and ensured no-one was left behind!!

It's easier than going on your own, and I think the package price is a good deal. I was surprised by the intelligence of the water buffalo as they turned while considering their turning radius. The sea was beautiful, and I was captivated by it.

自分で行くより楽だし、セット料金もお得だと思います。
水牛は内輪差を考えながら曲がったりしてるので、その賢さにびっくりしました。
海は綺麗で見惚れました。

I was very satisfied with the tour!
Our destination was the Churaumi Aquarium!
It was my first time visiting the Churaumi Aquarium, and we were blessed with good weather. I really enjoyed such a dynamic aquarium with so much movement.
I wished we had a little more time to enjoy it.
The dolphin show was amazing, and I was surprised by the dolphins' abilities.
At Manzamo, as soon as we arrived, it started pouring rain, but miraculously, a beautiful big rainbow appeared.
At American Village, I was very satisfied that we could stretch our legs all the way to Sunset Beach!
I definitely want to participate again!
The staff welcomed us with smiles and thoughtful hospitality.
I would like to participate again.

わたし達の目的が、美ら海水族館でした！
美ら海水族館へ初めて行きましたが、お天気ににも恵まれ、大迫力でここまで動きがある水族館はとても楽しめました。
もう少し時間がほしいと思う楽しめました。
イルカショーではイルカの能力に驚きでした

万座毛では到着した瞬間、大雨がふりましたが、逆に奇跡的に大きな虹がかかりとても綺麗でした。
アメリカンビレッジでは、サンセットビーチまて足を伸ばす事が出来とても満足でした！

スタッフさんもいつも笑顔で思いやりのおもてなし頂きお出迎いして頂きました。

I participated alone, but it was a tour that I could enjoy even by myself. I was the only solo participant on the same tour.
On Taketomi Island, I chose cycling, and it was great to have the time to freely cycle around the island and choose my return ferry time at my convenience.

1人で参加しましたが、十分1人でも楽しめるツアーでした。同じツアーでの1人参加は私だけでした。
竹富島では、サイクリングを選択し自由に島1週できる時間はあり帰りのフェリーの時間も自由に選べてよかったです。

When I arrived at Awa Port, I received a confirmation call from the guide about tomorrow's trekking. Since I had rented some gear, they brought it to my accommodation around 9:00 PM.

Departure was at 4:20. The guide picked me up by car at the accommodation. We drove along a winding mountain road and arrived at the entrance of Shiratani Unsuikyo. It was drizzling a bit, so we had breakfast in the car. After breakfast, I paid 1,000 yen at the entrance of Shiratani Unsuikyo, and the trekking began! At Shiratani Unsuikyo, famous for its Forest of the Mononoke, the guide had prepared finger puppets of Kodama, which made for some photogenic moments. The weather cleared up at Taiko Rock, and we were able to enjoy a stunning view! At Wilson Stump, I saw a heart shape. We had lunch after seeing Jomon Sugi. For lunch, the guide prepared tonjiru (pork miso soup). After that, we descended the mountain. Around 3:00 PM, the guide gave me jelly and tankan juice. We proceeded along the trolley path and safely arrived at the Arakawa Trailhead. I took the bus at 4:30 PM and reached the accommodation by 6:00 PM.

〈Impressions〉
- It was very fulfilling and fun! I was worried about covering everything in one day, but with the stamina of a woman in her 20s, it's totally fine even if you don't usually exercise!
- The guide's hospitality was amazing! I don't know if it was personal, but they also gave me tonjiru and dessert. They took a lot of photos, which made for great memories! I was really happy to take a picture with Kodama in the Forest of the Mononoke!!
- I was able to sightsee efficiently! The guide taught us about history and nature. I thought it would be tough to deal with the sweat before heading home if I participated in a half-day tour on the second day.

安房港に着いたら、ガイドから明日のトレッキングについての確認電話があった。
レンタルグッズを借りていたので21:00頃に宿まで持って来てくれた。

出発は4:20。宿までガイドが車で迎えに来てくれた。
くねくねした山道を進み、白谷雲水峡入り口についた。
少し雨が降っていたので、車内で朝食を頂いた。
朝食後、白谷雲水峡入り口で1,000円支払い、トレッキングスタート！
もののけの森で有名な白谷雲水峡では、ガイドが指人形のこだまを用意してくれていてフォトジェニックが起こった。
太鼓岩では天気が回復し、絶景を見ることができた！
ウィルソン株ではハートをみた。
縄文杉をみてお昼を食べた。
お昼ではガイドが豚汁を用意してくれた。
その後下山。15:00頃にガイドがゼリーとたんかんジュースをくれた。
トロッコ道を進み、無事に荒川登山口についた。
16:30発のバスに乗り、宿には18:00ついた。

〈感想〉
・とても充実して楽しかった！
1日で巡ることに不安があったが、20代女性の体力があれば普段運動をしていなくても大丈夫！
・ガイドのおもてなしが凄かった！
個人的か分からないが、豚汁やデザートもくれた。また写真もたくさん撮ってくれていい思い出になった！もののけの森でこだまと撮れて本当嬉しかった！！
・効率的に観光できた！
ガイドが歴史や自然について教えてくれた点。
2日目に半日ツアーに参加した場合、帰宅前の汗の処理が大変だと思った点。

I was looking forward to having a guide who was an older man, but it turned out to be a woman. She was very experienced and I was able to hear various stories, which was nice in its own way. She made sure to take us to photogenic spots and helped us take as many pictures as possible at Kabira Bay.

The time spent at each landmark was short, but given that we wanted to see as much as possible within the time frame, it couldn't be helped. On the plus side, we were able to visit many places, which was fulfilling.

Since this was my several visits to Ishigaki Island, there were places I had already been to, but there was also new information, so I never got bored.

おじいのガイドが楽しみだったんですが、女性の方でした。経験豊富で、いろんな話も聞けましたし、それはそれでよかったです。写真写りがいい場所だとか、川平湾でできるだけ写真が撮れるようにと配慮してくれました。
各名所での滞在時間が短いですが、時間内に回ろうと思えば仕方ないですね。その分、たくさんの場所に行けて充実しています。
何回目かの石垣島なので、既に行ったことがある場所もあったのですが、新情報もあって飽きることはなかったです。

I had a great time exploring the northern region of Okinawa in just one day. While it's nice to create your own plan and go around, I think taking a bus tour allows you to learn various information and enjoy efficient sightseeing!

1日で行きたい、沖縄北部地方を巡れて楽しかったです。
自分でプランを組んで回るのもいいですが、バスツアーで巡ると、色々な情報を知れるし効率の良い観光ができるなーと思います！

I chose this because it was cheap, but I wish I had read more reviews. I realized that since it's a worldwide site, there are many customers from the continent. The audio guide was just for listening, and I felt like a lunch refugee at the aquarium. The guide was quite businesslike, only focusing on the meeting time and roll call. I don't think it's suitable for those expecting Japanese-style service or for domestic travelers. I felt relieved when the driver said "Welcome back." The content of the tour was good.

安かったから選びましたが、もっとクチコミを読めばよかったです。ワールドワイドなサイトなので大陸からのお客さんが多いのだと気づきました。音声ガイドは聞くだけ・水族館でランチ難民・ガイド？？さんは事務的で集合時間と点呼だけ…という感じで、
日本的対応を期待する方や国内旅行の方には向いていないと思います。運転手さんがおかえりなさいと言ってくれたのがホッとしました。
ツアーの内容は良かったです。

I made a reservation the day before. I heard that the "Uncle Guide" has days off, and we were lucky to have him on that day, but if you can choose your schedule, I recommend checking in advance to ensure that the Uncle Guide is available on the day you book.

The pamphlet was specifically for the tour, so it was very clear about where we were going next and how long it would take, which gave me a great sense of reassurance. Kabira Bay was as beautiful as I had heard, but personally, I preferred Tamatorizaki Observatory!! It was incredibly beautiful even in October.

The Uncle Guide's explanations were very easy to understand and entertaining, so I found myself completely absorbed. Along the way, he played the sanshin and sang Yaeyama folk songs! I was really glad it was an Uncle Guide day (*・∀・*).

If I had to mention something, it would be that the Uncle Guide's voice was sometimes a bit quiet (I heard that people from Okinawa generally have soft voices), so it might be better to sit in the front seats of the bus.

前日に予約しました。「おじさんガイド」はお休みの日もあるとのこと、私たちはなまたまその日おじさんガイドでラッキーでしたが、日程を選べる場合はあらかじめ問い合わせて、おじさんガイドがお休みでない日に予約されることをお勧めします。
パンフレットがツアー専用なので、次はどこに行くのか、どれぐらいかかるかなど全て分かりやすく、非常に安心感のあるツアーでした。川平湾は聞いていた通りの綺麗さでしたが、それよりも個人的には玉取崎展望台がよかった！！10月なのにすごく綺麗です。

おじさんガイドの説明もすごく分かりやすく、かつ面白いので、ついつい聞き入ってしまいます。途中では三線を引かながら八重山の民謡を歌ってくださいます！本当におじさんガイドの日でよかったです(*・∀・*)

強いていうのであれば、おじさんガイドはたまに声が小さいので(沖縄の方は皆さん声が小さいと伺いました)、バスの前の席に座った方がいいかもしれません。

A tour that captures the best parts of Iriomote Island, Yubu Island, and Taketomi Island. The time allocation was just right, with no waiting times or idle moments, making it a very good tour. The mangrove cruise on Iriomote Island was especially enjoyable. On the ox cart ride to Yubu Island, the guide treated us to a beautiful song! I didn't have high expectations for the lunch since it was a bento box, but it turned out to be delicious, featuring several local Okinawan specialties. I couldn't finish the rice, so I wish I had gone with a bigger appetite!

西表島、由布島、竹富島のいいところだけを切り取ったツアー。時間配分もちょうどよく、特に待ち時間や暇な時間、あるいは足りない時間などがなかった、とてもよいツアーでした。西表島のマングローブクルーズが特に楽しかったです。由布島までの牛車では、ガイドさんが綺麗な歌声を披露してくださいました！昼食はお弁当ということであまり期待していませんでしたが、沖縄の名物が何種類も入った美味しいお弁当でした。お米が食べ切れなかったので、もっとお腹を空かせてから行けばよかったと思います笑

Although the weather completely obstructed our view of Fuji, this tour was a good way to get an insight into the mountain and visit some cool places around the area. The 4D ride was definitely a highlight, however the lunch was fairly average. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable, and funny and made it a great trip overall. I will be booking other tours with this company during my stay in Japan!

I was planning to visit a remote island, so my stay in Ishigaki Island was short, and I was wondering what to do when I found this tour. The price was reasonable, and I thought, "What could it be like?" So I decided to join, and it was the right choice!!

It was a 24 km trekking tour from Jomon Sugi to Taiko Rock to Shiratani Unsuikyo.
We were guided along the entrance while walking the trolley path, enjoying the highlights.
On the way there, we fully enjoyed the unique cedars in nature, and we had a private moment at the Wilson stump, taking plenty of photos.
It was great to see Jomon Sugi before it got crowded.
On the way back, while climbing Tsujitoge, we were able to see wild monkeys and deer up close, which was a rare experience.
We were also introduced to a location that inspired a Studio Ghibli work along the way, adding to the sense of value in the experience.
We were blessed with good weather, so the view from Taiko Rock was amazing.
The area between Taiko Rock and Shiratani Unsuikyo had fresh greenery and streams, and the green illuminated by the light from the shade of the trees was beautiful.
I also enjoyed the return trip from Shiratani Unsuikyo.
I imagined that a long trek might be tough, but both the way there and the return were filled with excitement as we enjoyed the sights.
It may be greedy, but I think it was three times more enjoyable.

The places we visited were truly wonderful, but the attitude of the bus guide was terrible. I could only think that they were looking down on people; I don't want to use the same company again.

行く場所などは本当に素晴らしかったが、バスガイドの態度がひどかった。人を舐めてるとしか思えなかった、もう同じ会社は使いたくない

We set off from the lodge in the early hours before dawn, and the tour began with us having breakfast while still half-asleep. I was anxious about my first trekking experience, but the guide frequently checked in with us and carefully considered our pace, making it easy for beginners to climb with confidence. Along the way, we took breaks to hydrate at a spring and, if we had time on the way down, we could go down to the river to ice our feet, providing a truly unique experience. Trekking while enjoying the scenery from "Princess Mononoke" took a total of 11 hours round trip, but it felt like no time at all! When I saw Jomon Sugi, I felt an indescribable sense of accomplishment!

夜も明けきらぬ時間帯に宿を出発し、寝ぼけ眼で朝食を食べることからツアーが始まりました。はじめてのトレッキングで不安でしたが、ガイドさんがこまめに声をかけてきてくれて、ペース配分もしっかり考えてくれるので、はじめての方は安心して登ることができます。途中、水が湧いているスポットで水分補給したり、下山途中に時間がある場合は川に降りて足をアイシングするなど、非日常的な体験をすることができました。「もののけ姫」の風景を楽しみながらのトレッキングは往復で11時間かかったけれど、あっという間でした！縄文杉を見たときは、なんとも言えない達成感でしたね！

I arrived in Osaka on Peach Aviation on September 29. Since I had some time before checking into the hotel, I joined this tour. It's more economical than purchasing the ferry fare and water buffalo cart tickets separately. After the tour, I strolled around the island, but even though it's the end of September, it was over 30°C and blazing hot. Walking around is quite difficult. I definitely recommend renting a bicycle as well. However, the village has coral sand laid out, which can be slippery; I saw several people slip and fall. It's best to explore the outer roads by bicycle and walk around the village.

9月29日にピーチ航空で大阪から到着。ホテルにチェックインするまで時間があるのでこちらのツアーに参加しました。フェリー代と水牛車のチケットを別々に購入するよりお得です(^^)ツアー終了後は徒歩で島を散策しましたが、9月の終わりとは言え30℃越えのカンカン照り。徒歩で回るには無理があります。是非レンタサイクルもつけましょう。ただし集落内はサンゴ砂が敷き詰めてあるため、よく滑るようで、何人も滑ったり転んだりする人を見ました。外周道路は自転車で、集落内は徒歩で散策するのがオススメです。
