I started my adventure at Fushimi Inari Taisha. As I walked along the mystical path lined with vermilion torii gates, I felt a cleansing sensation wash over me, and I couldn't help but smile at the bustling atmosphere of the New Year's visit.

Next, I headed to Kiyomizu-dera. Here, the sound of the bell resonating in the winter silence left a lasting impression on my heart. The view of Kyoto's cityscape from the grand stage was so beautiful, it felt like a painting, and I found myself gasping in awe at the moments that unfolded.

After that, I went to Kinkaku-ji. The sight of the golden temple reflecting on the surface of the lake was truly picturesque. Under the cold sky, I enjoyed a moment of feeling the weight of history as I walked with steady steps.

Finally, I made my way to Arashiyama. Listening to the murmuring of the river, I leisurely walked through the bamboo grove, refreshing my spirit in nature as a gentle time flowed by. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, I spent a heartwarming moment and fully savored the charm of Kyoto on New Year's Day.

On this special day, I was able to reaffirm the wonderfulness of Kyoto, where history and nature intertwine, and create lasting memories in my heart. 😊

伏見稲荷大社から冒険の旅をスタートしました。朱色の鳥居が連なる神秘的な道を進むと、心が洗われるような感覚に包まれ、初詣の賑わいに思わず笑顔がこぼれました。

次に向かったのは清水寺。ここでは、冬の静寂の中に響く鐘の音が心に残りました。壮大な舞台から眺める京都の街並みは、まるで絵画のように美しく、思わず息をのむ瞬間が続きました。

その後は金閣寺へ。金色に輝く寺院が湖面に映る姿は、まさに絵に描いたような美しさ。寒空の下、しっかりとした足取りで歩きながら、歴史の重みを感じるひとときを楽しみました。

最後に嵐山へ。川のせせらぎに耳を傾けのんびり歩き竹林の小道へ自然の中で心がリフレッシュされ、穏やかな時間が流れました。美しい景色に囲まれ、心温まるひとときを過ごし、京都の魅力を存分に味わった元旦でした。

この特別な日に、歴史と自然が織りなす京都の素晴らしさを再確認し、心に残る思い出を作ることができました。😊

We gathered at Nagoya Station in the morning, took attendance, and boarded the bus. Since there were mostly foreign tourists, the guide spoke multiple languages. There were many participants from Southeast Asia, but there were also explanations in Japanese, so there were no particular issues. Given the diverse nationalities, the explanations were provided in each language in turn. The guide handed out maps of Shirakawa-go and Takayama and went around explaining at each seat, which I felt was a thoughtful approach. Once we arrived at the destination, a meeting place and time were set, so we did not have to act as a group and could explore freely. There were quite a few participants in the tour.

朝に名古屋駅へ集合し、出欠を取り、バス乗車。基本的に外国人観光客が多かったので、ガイドさんは何ヶ国語も話す方だった。東南アジア？の方からの参加が多かったが日本語での説明もあったので特に問題はなかった。多様な国籍の方がいるので説明は、それぞれの言語で順番に行われた。白川郷や高山の地図を渡して下さり、各座席ごとに説明して回られていて、丁寧な対応だと感じた。現地に着いたら、集合場所と集合時間を決められたので、団体で行動することはなく全部自由行動となった。かなりツアー参加者も多かった。

The guide's explanations were thorough, the weather was nice, and I was able to see Mount Fuji just as I imagined. The fifth station was good, but the view of Mount Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi was the best.

ガイドさんの、説明も、丁寧で、天気も良く、イメージ通りの富士山が見れました。５合目も良かったですが、河口湖からの富士山が１番良かったです。

Although the time was short and it was a bit hectic, I was able to do a lot of sightseeing, and it was great to see the Churaumi Aquarium and the dolphin show. However, it was disappointing that some people were late for the meeting time. If we don't stick to the scheduled time for sightseeing, it can affect the rest of the day.

時間が短く、バタバタでしたが、たくさん観光ができ、美ら海水族館もイルカのショーも見ることができよかったです。
ただ、集合時間に遅れる人がいたのが残念でした。決められた時間内での観光をしてくれないと後に響くので。

This year, there has been a lot of snowfall, which must be tough for the residents, but as a tourist, I was able to enjoy the wonderful scenery. Personally, I preferred Gokayama, which, although smaller in scale than Shirakawa-go, offered a calm and quiet atmosphere where I could feel the gentle passage of time.

I visited at the end of the year, so there was severe traffic to Shirakawa-go, and the tour was completed 1 hour and 40 minutes late. Since I was staying in Takayama, the delay didn't bother me, but those who have further travel plans should be cautious. As others have mentioned, it seems that going to Shirakawa-go first would allow for more time flexibility.

I think the guide was quite busy alternating between Japanese and English, but I was glad to hear various interesting stories.

今年は積雪が多いとのことで住んでいらっしゃる方にとっては大変でしょうが、観光客としては素晴らしい景色を堪能することができました。個人的には白川郷よりも、規模は小さいながら落ち着いていて静かな五箇山が緩やかな時の流れを感じることができてよかったです。
年末に訪れたので白川郷への渋滞がひどく、1時間40分遅れでのツアー完了となりました。私は高山泊だったので遅れても構わなかったのですが、後行程で移動がある方は注意が必要です。他の方も書かれていましたが、白川郷に先に行く方が時間に余裕が出るように思います。
ガイドの方は日本語・英語代わる代わるの案内でお忙しかったかと思いますが、いろいろ興味深い話も伺えてよかったです。

I participated in a greedy tour that allowed me to experience Iriomote Island, Yufu Island, and Taketomi Island all in one day. The next day, I planned to take my time exploring the islands, but due to bad weather, I spent the remaining days relaxing.

１日で西表島、由布島、竹富島を体験するよくばりツアーに参加して来ました。
次の日からは、やっくり島巡りを考えて参加しましたが、天気も悪く残りの日は、のんびり過ごしました。

I almost circled Ishigaki Island, visiting various attractions. The bus guide provided detailed explanations, and we enjoyed a typical Okinawan lunch. It was more efficient for sightseeing than driving around with a rental car, especially since we could get off at the airport. It's a pity that the weather was cloudy.

石垣島をほぼ一周して名所を回り、バスガイドさんの詳しい説明、沖縄らしい昼食、空港で下車でき、レンタカーで回るよりも効率よく観光できた。
天気が曇りだったのが残念。

There were moments when the tour was delayed due to weather, but I was very impressed that the schedule was adjusted and we arrived as planned.

This was my first trip to Gifu Prefecture, and there was a lot I didn't know. I appreciated how the bus tour staff provided advice to each person at various locations. What stood out particularly was how the tour guide shared insights while speaking with us. Even with free time, it was very reassuring to have guidance for our explorations.

Lastly, it was amazing that the tour guide could speak Chinese, English, and Japanese.

一部ツアーで遅れる場面(天候上)もあったが、スケジュールを調整されていて、予定通り着いた点は非常に感動した。

岐阜県については初めて旅行する場所であり、知らないことも多かった。その中でバスツアーさんが一人一人に各場所のアドバイス等をしていた点が良かった。特に良かったのが、ツアーガイドさんの知見も交えながら、お話してくださった点である。自由時間があっても、各人で目星をつけて散策するため、大変心強かった。

最後に中国語、英語、日本語を話せているのは凄かった。(今回のツアーガイドさんがかもしれないが)

I used the service at the end of the year. There were many foreign visitors, but there were also some Japanese people. The guidance was provided in English by a Japanese person, but sometimes they explained in Japanese as well.

If you don't closely follow the guide, you'll quickly lose sight of the guide's flag! There were so many people, and many other tours with flags, so at Fushimi Inari Taisha, I lost sight of the guide and couldn't find the meeting place. However, since I had received a map, I was able to reach the meeting place by following it.

At Kiyomizu-dera, there was a free time of two hours, which was enough for sightseeing, dining, and shopping for souvenirs. At Kinkaku-ji, I misunderstood the meeting time and had the incident of being left behind by the bus at Kinkaku-ji... I found a guide from the same bus tour company on a different route, explained the situation, and was able to get on that bus, successfully reuniting with the group at the next destination.

I really appreciate the help during that situation. I was certainly at fault for misunderstanding the time, but it seems that they couldn't contact me because they didn't have my contact information. Therefore, I think it would be better to confirm emergency contact information when gathering in the hotel lobby in the morning.

年末に利用しました。
外国の方が多かったけど日本の方もいました。案内は日本の方が英語でされてましたが、時々日本語でも説明してくださいました。
しっかり後をつけていないと、すぐにガイドさんの旗を見失ってしまいます!
とにかく人が多くて、他にも旗を持ってるツアーも沢山いて、伏見稲荷大社では途中で見失い、集合場所が分かりませんでしたが、地図をもらってたので地図を見ながら集合場所に辿り着けました。
清水寺では自由時間が2時間もあり、観光や食事、お土産を買ったりと、時間が十分ありました。
金閣寺では集合時間を勘違いして、金閣寺でバスに置いて行かれるというハプニングが…
別の便の同じバスツアー会社のガイドさんを見付け、事情を説明するとそのバスに乗せてもらえ、無事に次の目的地で合流できました。
その節は大変お世話になり、ありがとうございました。
時間を勘違いしてた私がもちろん悪いのですが、こちらの連絡先が分からず連絡が取れなかったそうなので、朝ホテルのロビーに集合した時点で、緊急連絡先の確認をされた方がいいと思います。

The bus guide and driver were kind and provided excellent service. The guide shared various stories, and they were very friendly. It was great to efficiently visit many places, creating wonderful memories. I'm glad I participated. The tour was almost fully booked, but everyone was punctual, which was nice.

This was my second time, but it was my husband's first visit to Okinawa! He was so moved by Okinawa that he was left speechless by the various places we experienced. This tour takes you to all the best spots and is absolutely the best tour. I highly recommend it! We are already talking about wanting to return to Okinawa after the reconstruction of Shuri Castle.

The view of Shirakawa-go in this season, with its stunning snow scenery, was absolutely breathtaking! I also enjoyed walking around and trying the food in Takayama! I want to go again!

I have visited Sapporo in winter many times, but I challenged myself with a bus tour for the first time. The highlight was the Usuzan Ropeway, but upon hearing that the temperature at the summit was minus 10°C, I braced myself. The initial experience and sensation were truly moving. I strongly felt that I want to visit both Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya again in spring and autumn. The commentary through the earphones on the bus was also comfortable, and my wife and I confirmed that we had a fulfilling trip. Thank you for your assistance.

冬の札幌に何度も来てますが、初のバスツアーにチャレンジしました。
有珠山ロープウェイが最大の楽しみでしたが、頂上がマイナス１０℃と聞き、身を引き締めました。初体験の初感覚、まさに感動でした。支笏湖も洞爺湖も、また春秋に訪ねたいと強く感じました。
バス内のイヤホンの解説も快適で、妻と充実の旅を確認し合いました。

It was a fun half-day tour with a bus guide. Not only did we get explanations about the sightseeing spots, but we also enjoyed a great time with performances of traditional songs and dances from Ishigaki Island! The photo is of a fruitless palm tree. It's a natural monument, and the fruit is said to be about 1 cm in size, with thousands of them growing.

バスガイドさんが添乗しての楽しい半日観光でした。観光地の説明もさることながら、石垣島の民謡、踊りなど実演を交えて楽しい時間を過ごすことができました❗写真は実のならないヤシでした。天然記念物で、実は1cm程度で、何千個も成るそうです。

(Regarding the rental of crampons)
I was told over the phone that the rental fee was 500 yen, but when I received them the day before, it was 1000 yen, and I was told that the guide would teach me how to put them on. However, on the day of the trek, the guide asked me why I hadn't practiced at the lodge and called me clumsy. Additionally, the guide questioned why I had crampons when I had said spikes would be fine! It seemed there was a lack of communication.

(About the trekking)
On the day of the trek, to catch the 5 PM bus, we walked quickly along the trolley path, and when someone at the back of the group couldn't keep up, the guide made negative comments about them to others and even told the person themselves that they were holding everyone back. Even if that was true, I felt it wasn't necessary to say it that way. I had expected the guides to provide detailed information about Yakushima's nature, but the guides on-site seemed to be pressed for time. I understand that they have a responsibility to guide the group, but it was a bit disappointing. The guide told everyone that anyone could reach Jomon Sugi if they took their time, but with a tour, it becomes a group activity with time constraints, and if we went past 5 PM, the taxi fare would exceed the accommodation cost. I think this point should have been discussed during the confirmation call the day before.

(Positive aspects)
The positive aspect was that I was able to see Jomon Sugi properly and make it back down.

(アイゼンの貸し出しについて）
電話では貸し出し500円と言われたが、前日に渡されたときは1000円で、アイゼンの付け方はガイドが教えてくれると言われました。
しかし、当日ガイドさんにはなんで宿で勉強してないんだ、不器用だと言われました。
また、ガイドさんからなぜアイゼンを持っているのか、スパイクでいいって言ったのに！！と言われ、連携が取れてないんだなと思いました。

(トレッキングについて)
当日は、17時のバスに間に合わせるために、トロッコ道は早いペースで黙々と歩き、グループの最後尾にいた人が追いつかずにいると、ガイドさんが他の人に最後尾の人の悪口を言ったり、本人にもあなたが足を引っ張っていると言ってて、それが事実だとしてもそこまでいう必要はないと思いました。
ガイドというと、屋久島の自然ついて詳しく教えてもらえると思っていましたが、現場のガイドさんたちは時間に追われてる印象です。ガイドさんたちにも、案内する責任もあるので、仕方ないと思うですが、少し残念な気持ちでした。
ガイドさんはグループのみんなに、縄文杉は時間をかければ誰でもいけるが、ツアーとなると集団行動になり時間制限があって、17時を過ぎるとタクシー代が宿代以上にかかると話していました。
その点については、前日の電話での確認事項のときに、話しておいた方がいいと思います。

(良かった点)
良かった点は、ちゃんと縄文杉を見れて、下山できたことです。

I participated on December 28th. I joined because I wanted to show my partner the Penguin Parade at 2 PM. Since it's only available in winter, I think it's worth seeing. There were many inbound tourists. I wished they would clean the restrooms more frequently. Some were so dirty that they didn't seem like Japanese toilets. 😭

12月28日に参加しました。連合いに14時〜のペンギンパレードが見せたくて、参加しました。冬しか見れないので、見に行く価値はあるかと思います。インバウンドの方が沢山います。お手洗いの掃除を頻繁にしてほしいと思いました。一部、日本のトイレと思えない位、汚れていました😭

Since it was the end of the year, there were few participants, and I felt that we could relax throughout the event. It was my first experience on a glass-bottom boat, and I felt that the sight of colorful fish swimming in the clear sea was a unique scene of Okinawa. At the Churaumi Aquarium, I was also able to see the main attraction, the whale shark, and I was very satisfied.

当日は年末ということもあり、参加人数が少なく全体を通してゆったりと過ごせた印象です。
グラスボートは初めての体験だったのですが、透き通った海に色とりどりの魚が泳ぐ姿が沖縄ならではの光景だなと感じました。
美ら海水族館ではメインのジンベイザメも見れ、大満足です。

My first trip to Hokkaido was wonderful. Coming from a tropical region, it was my first time seeing the snow piled up. Lake Toya, the bear ranch, and Hell Valley were all fantastic. I think our guide, Mr. Onodera, had a tough time explaining in Japanese and Chinese for just two of us out of 32 participants, but he did it without complaint, and I truly appreciate it. I'm thinking of visiting Hokkaido again during the fresh green season, and I plan to use the service again then.

初めての北海道とても良かったです。私は南国なので積もった雪を見るのが初めてでした。洞爺湖､🐻牧場、地獄谷等とても良かったです。ガイドの小野寺さんも32名中たった二人の日本人のために日本語での説明したり中国語で説明したり大変だったと思いますが苦にせず頑張っていただき本当にありがとうございました。また新緑の季節に北海道に行こうと思っています。その時は再度利用しようと思っています。

It was raining from the start of the climb, but there was snow around the Nio-sugi area, so we had to put on crampons. Above the Wilson stump, there was more than 10 cm of snow, but for someone like me who was born and raised in a snowy region, the snowy path might have been preferable. I was overwhelmed by the presence of the Jomon-sugi, which is said to be 7,200 years old, as it has been growing in this place since the seeds fell to the ground.

登山開始から雨でしたが、仁王杉あたりから積雪がありアイゼンを装着しての行程となりました。ウィルソン株から上は１０ｃｍ以上の積雪がありましたが、雪国で生まれ育った私には雪道の方が良かったかもしれません。
樹齢７２００年と言われている縄文杉は地上に種が落ちた時からこの場所で生まれ育ってきたのですから、その存在感に圧倒されました。

I thought it would be really cold, so I dressed warmly, but as the guide informed us, it did rain, yet it was quite hot while climbing, so I didn't need to wear so much. The guide was very friendly, and the other participants were nice as well, which made it a lot of fun. I learned a lot about the cedar trees, and the scenery was very beautiful, allowing for many great photos. I would like to climb in a different season next time. Thank you very much.

凄く寒いかと思って厚着をしておりましたが、ガイドさんに教えていただいたように、雨も降りましたが、登っているときはとても暑かったのでそこまで着なくても大丈夫でした。
ガイドさんはとてもフレンドリーで他の参加者さんもいい方だったので、とても楽しかったです。

I was able to tour smoothly. The water buffalo crossing to Yufuin Island was smart, which was great. I also got to explore Yufuin Island and Taketomi Island. The lunch on Yufuin Island was delicious and included vegetables.

スムーズに、観光できました。由布島に渡る水牛が賢くて、よかったです。由布島散策や竹富島散策もできました。由布島の昼食も野菜ありでおいしかったです。

I went on the Jomon Sugi tour followed by the Shiratani Unsuikyo tour on consecutive days, and I must say, the Shiratani Unsuikyo tour was incredibly enjoyable. The breathtaking view from Taiko Rock left me speechless.

Many people, like myself, who visit Jomon Sugi the day before tend to opt for the half-day course to the mossy forest due to fatigue, but it's only an additional 40 minutes to reach Taiko Rock, so I highly recommend going. The muscle pain and fatigue aren't bothersome while climbing, and adding 40 minutes doesn't make much of a difference. Plus, you get to enjoy a stunning view and have a leisurely lunch, making it quite worthwhile.

As expected from a gorge, there is plenty of water and moss, creating a very mystical and refreshing atmosphere. It feels so surreal that you can't help but wonder when the Kodama or mountain deities might appear.

連日、縄文杉ツアー→白谷雲水峡ツアーと行きましたが、結果からして白谷雲水峡ツアーが楽しすぎました。中でも太鼓岩からの絶景には言葉を失います。
私のように前日に縄文杉に行くと、疲労から白谷雲水峡ツアーを苔むす森までの半日コースにされる方が多いようですが、太鼓岩までは+40分ほどなので、絶対に行った方がいいです。筋肉痛や疲労は登っていれば気にならず40分増やしたところで大して変わらないですし、絶景を一望できるうえ、昼食もゆっくり摂れるので色々とお得です🙆‍♀️
水峡なだけに水や苔が多く、とても幻想的でリフレッシュできます。いつこだまや山神様が出てくるのだろう…と思ってしまうほど、非現実的な空間を楽しめます。

The attention to detail from the tour guide was wonderful. Even during traffic jams, they provided updates, allowing us to participate without stress. The way they avoided traffic on the highway on the way back, along with the driver, truly showcased their professionalism!

Before participating, I was a bit anxious since it was my first time with this tour company and everything was completed online. However, thanks to the tour guide, it turned into a fun trip. I would love to join again.

添乗員さんの気遣いが素晴らしかったです。
渋滞時にも都度細かく教えて下さり、ストレスなく参加出来ました。
帰りの高速での渋滞回避等も、ドライバーさん共々　流石プロ‼︎っという感じでした。

- It was my first time in Takayama and Shirakawa-go, and I thoroughly enjoyed not only the scenery but also food tasting, sightseeing, and souvenir hunting.
- Although there was snow in Shirakawa-go, it wasn't falling, so I was able to walk with regular shoes.
- The guide, who spoke three languages, was from China and provided a very detailed tour, which gave me a great sense of reassurance.
- As others have mentioned, about 90% of the participants were from overseas. Although we started a bit late, everyone was punctual and we disbanded as scheduled.

・高山、白川郷ともに初めてだったが風景以外にも食べ歩き、名所巡り、お土産探しと大満喫
・白川郷は積雪あるも降っておらず何とか普通の靴でも歩くことができた
・3カ国語話されるガイドさんは中国の方で、とても丁寧に案内してくれてすごく安心感があった
・他の方も書いてらっしゃる通り9割海外の方だった、少し開始は遅れたがみなさん時間きっちりで予定通り解散

Since it was a trekking tour, I expected it to be like hiking, but in reality, it's quite difficult in light clothing and consumes a lot of energy. For those who don't have much experience and can't imagine what equipment is necessary, I recommend renting everything.

On the day of the tour, it was rare for December to have snow, which made it particularly challenging to navigate beyond the trolley path. I didn't have the luxury to enjoy the scenery; it was more of a battle to avoid slipping. However, the sight of Jomon Sugi after all the hard work was overwhelming, and all my fatigue disappeared.

There are several breaks along the way, and you can take photos at places like the Wilson stump, so you can keep good records of your experience, and the fatigue becomes manageable. I definitely recommend this for those who don't often have the opportunity to go.

トレッキングツアーということだったので、ハイキング感覚でいましたが、実際には軽装では難しいですし、体力を結構消費しますので、あまり経験がなくどんな装備が必要かイメージが付かない方は、全てレンタルすることをオススメします。
当日は12月では珍しく雪も降った日だったことも相まって、特にトロッコ道から先の行き来に関しては、景色を満喫する余裕もなく、滑落しないかの戦いでなかなかシビアでした。
ですが、苦労の末の縄文杉の姿には圧倒され、疲れがすっかり吹き飛びます。
途中何回か休憩もありますし、ウィルソン株などで写真も撮っていただけるので、しっかり記録も残すことができますし、疲れも何とかなります。
なかなか行く機会がない方には是非行くことをお勧めします。
