It's a tower directly connected to Sapporo Station. I went around 5 PM. After sunset, the observation deck was dimmed to enhance the night view, which was beautiful. The Churaumi Aquarium was my first visit, and seeing the whale shark up close was absolutely impressive! I was also surprised by how big the manta rays were! You can see the manatees, dolphins, and sea turtles nearby for free. The tanks were beautiful, and I felt that the animals were being well cared for. I definitely want to go again.

However, even though I completed the payment, I didn't receive the QR code email, which made it difficult when I tried to exchange my ticket. The staff at the exchange point, Umikaze Market, were flexible and helped me out, but I couldn't get through to the Beltora customer service at all, so I hope they can improve their response time for any issues. It was disappointing to lose unnecessary time.

美ら海水族館は初めてで、間近でみるジンベエザメの姿は迫力満点でした！あとマンタも大きくてびっくりしました！近くにあるマナティやイルカ、ウミガメは無料で見れます。水槽もキレイで動物を大切に管理しているなと感じました。絶対また行きたいです。

ただ決済完了しているのにQRコードのメールが届かなくてチケット引き換えするとき困りました。引き換え場の海風マーケットのスタッフさんが融通きかせてくれて無事換えてもらえましたが…
ベルトラの問い合わせ先に電話しても全然つながらなかったので何かあった時すぐ繋がるよう対策はしていただきたいです。無駄な時間をロスしたのが残念でした。

The night view was beautiful.
The way to form the line for purchasing the outbound ticket felt a bit off. It looked like a line for those already holding tickets to ride the ropeway. The staff seemed confused, perhaps because there aren't many examples of voucher exchanges.
The outbound and return ropeway and mini cable car operate at 15-minute intervals at the same time, leading to a lot of waiting time. (I think this is to encourage purchases at the shop along the way.)
The rooftop was windy and a bit chilly. I heard that if you take something out from the shop, you can view it indoors, but there was no guidance when I bought soft serve ice cream at the shop, so I ended up eating it on the rooftop. I regretted that later.

Near the Okinawa Ocean Expo Park, where the Churaumi Aquarium is located, there is the Okinawa Hanasaki Marche, and you can exchange your voucher at a shop inside. The staff at the shop didn't seem to fully understand the reservations from VELTRA, so they noted down the voucher number and collected the printed voucher just to be safe, but they exchanged the tickets without any issues.

However, this shop is currently only open from 9:30 AM due to the pandemic, so it may not be suitable for those who want to go early in the morning when it's less crowded. Discount tickets for the Churaumi Aquarium are sold at various souvenir shops and rental car companies throughout Okinawa, so if you want to enter early the next morning, you might consider purchasing them somewhere after arriving in Okinawa.

Personally, I felt reassured by the fact that they would refund if I didn't use it, and I was glad to be able to use VELTRA points for the purchase. The highlight, of course, was the whale shark. It was my first time seeing one, and I was quite moved.

美ら海水族館の館外での割引チケット自体は、沖縄内のお土産ショップやレンタカー屋さんなどいたるところで売っているので、翌日の朝一に入館したい場合は、沖縄についてからどこかで購入してもよいかと思います。
個人的には、使用しなければ返金してくれるという点で安心だったのとVELTRAのポイントを使えたという点で、購入してよかったです。
やはり目玉はジンベイザメですね。初めて見たのでちょっと感動でした。

The cake we had at the top was delicious, and it came with a small drink, making it a great deal for a little break. At the end of June, the days are long, and the sun sets late, so we stayed until around 7:30 PM, and it finally seemed to get dark. Looking ahead, a larger building will be constructed next to this observation room along with the Shinkansen station, so I was glad to see it before the construction. My friend seemed to really like the glass-walled restroom and went to see it multiple times. Next time, I would like to go up when I have the chance to see the construction site of the Shinkansen station.

次回は新幹線駅の工事現場を見れる時期に機会があったら上ってみたいです。

After getting off at the streetcar station, it's a 3-minute walk to the free micro shuttle bus stop. It takes about 10 minutes on foot, but the uphill climb on the way there might be tough. The summit can be a bit chilly. The view is amazing, but a lot of people come later in the day. It's worth a visit if you're in Sapporo. The ropeway operates approximately every 15 minutes, but if there are too many people, you might have to wait for the next one on the way down. The shuttle bus is a micro, so I walked back to the station.

市電の駅を降りて3分も歩けば無料マイクロシャトルバス乗り場。歩いても10分位だけど行きは急な登りなので大変かも。山頂は少し肌寒い位。景色はサイコーだけど、遅い時間になるとすごく沢山の人がやってくる。札幌に行ったら行く価値あり。ロープウェイは15分間隔位で運行してるけど、あまりに人がいると下りは積み残しあるかもしれないです。シャトルバスはマイクロなので帰りは駅まで歩きました。
