Tokyo
The tour was really amazing. Mt. Fuji is majestic, and Ninja village was great. I had a great time in the ninja show. Our guide Mr. Yoshi was made our trip more fun, really nice and respectful.
I wish you would extend the time in each event.
Thank you
Beauty of urban planning at its best, Tokyo's megalopolis is a well planned development for the world to emulate. Integrated transport system that is accessible to everybody creates an environment that encourages its people to walk creating a healthy populace.
Online booking was easy and easy to understand . Very easy to find the place to get the ticket. Skyhop has everything provided for. from the blankets with this cold winter days. Heat pads and the earphones. They have though of everything. It be nice with the translation they should add also Spanish, Italian and some other European languages.
My family and I had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the scenery. Couldn't ask for more.
Thank you for an enjoyable and wonderful trip.
Our tour guide, Tam, was great! Very informative, he did a really good job!
Mt Fuji was great, Hakone was even better!
Highly recommended day tour.
The online registration and check in process was very smooth. We took the tour on a cold December day and they have provided covered bus option for certain times, which was great. For the double decker they have also provided hand warmers and blankets which were much appreciated. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only improvement I would recommend would be to provide more historic information on the tour. Try this tour if you have limited time in Tokyo!
They are well organized, japoneze style, experienced guide, the food is really good. Fujisan is a symbol of Japan and all the respect for it........but if you’re coming from Central or Eastern Europe will be disappointed, whatever give a chance to this trip is absolutely worthy.... I recommend the coach rather than Shinkansen.... drivers they are impeccable!
I did the same tour by myself last year and enjoyed it a lot! So this year I took my parents and they were overwhelmed with the city! So this tour just gives you a great overview and is quite informative too! Recommend (again) :)

We had a highly enjoyable experience on the evening food tour Golden Gai Shinjuku. Our guide Norma was excellent. She chose some great food destinations and was very helpful in explaining Japanese food etiquette and culture. In between eating, Norma guided us around Shinjuku, which is a must see destination if you come to Tokyo. She was very knowledgeable and gave us a great download on the activities and history of the Shinjuku area. Towards, the end of the tour we went to the Golden Gai area, which is quite fascinating for tourists.
We dont write alot of reviews, but would highly recommend this tour, and in particular, we felt quite fortunate that our guide was Norma, as she was really very committed to ensuring that the group was enjoying both the tour and the food experience.
Well organised, punctual start, friendly, cheerful guide who had so much to tell us. A good driver - I felt safe all the time. Super lunch, and luckily we had fantastic weather, so we did everything the tour described.
Our family had a wonderful time on this tour. Our kids were 13 and 9 and they both had a lot of fun. Note that this tour has a lot of travel time (~50% of the tour's total time); fortunately, we knew that prior to booking based on our own research of the various sites being targeted. Mi Ka Mi-san was our guide; she was very nice and funny.
One suggested improvement: pickup could use a bit more clarity. We stayed at the Keio Plaza Hotel so technically, pick up should be rather straightforward. However, there were at least 5 different Mt. Fuji/Hakone tours - all departing within 15 minutes of each other. JTB Sunrise Tours is the only tour company with a resident office at our hotel so their lines were clearly marked. Our tour was with Japan Gray Line and we had to hustle a bit to find the right area to wait.
Pick up is in the lobby of the Cerulean Tokyu Tower Hotel. After a few other hotel pick ups, we were on our way to Mt Fuji. Overall the tour was organized and offered good sightseeing, as long as the weather cooperates. Yes, the guides do speak English, but you must listen very closely in order to understand them. Yes, we were able to see Mt Fuji from the bus as well as from the lookouts we stopped at. Lunch (paid for) was a nice surprise, typical Japanese bento with a great variety of dishes. The highlight was the tram ride and vista of Mt Fuji. We had a great time.
Good experience to see Japan with a day trip. Our guide was so awesome. We loved the trip and would recommend this trip to anyone.
Tour guide was fantastic. Tour was well planned. Food was delicious. Tour was informative. Kids were very happy with the tour to owaudani. Train ride was very fast and comfortable.
It's easy to find the meeting point. Mt Fuji is simply awesome !!
The Trip was good and the tour guide Yoko is very good too. She Is well verse in English and kept us entertained throughout the trip except on the way back from last sight visit at the shrine.
The only unpleasant is the traffic jam while on the way back heading to Shinjuku-Ku.
Very good service from Japan Gray Line; a customer service representative was at the meeting point (hotel) to welcome and to get us on the bus.
The tour is very good and really highlights what to see and to do in Tokyo, leading to exploring on own more areas in the following days, should time allows. The guides provide good explanation of the areas toured, and would go the extra mile to satisfy the customer beyond the basic service of the tour, to include attending to personal requests from the customer.
Overall good job, making a day we very much enjoyed.
Enjoyed the trip tremendously!
Our tour guide, Ms Anne, was very experienced and informative about Nikko, its history etc. She also gave a "mini city guide" along the way to our destination.
She was also a cheerful lady and was very accommodating to our requests.
Felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip.
The tour guide was awesome, very nice, pleasing personality. Always smiling and very informative. I learnt some japanese from here in this short tour. Awesome.
Keep up the good work.
It was an outstanding experience to just not travel to Mount Fuji but getting essential and interesting information from the guide, Yoshi. Yoshi ensured and kept us entertained throughout the visits and I will definitely recommend fellow tourist to option for Yoshi.
It was timely pickup, sight seeing and exceeded expectations.
We got the Mt. Fuji tour with an English-speaking guide last December 2, 2018. Our guide is Amy-san from JTB Sunrise Tours. She’s a very friendly, mild-mannered, affable and sweet guide. Even apologizing to the rest of the group when the three of us were late to the call time. She’s really knowledgeable and is patient to the requests and queries of everyone. We were blessed with clear skies so we saw My. Fuji in all its glory. I do love the Shiraito Falls; such a beautiful place. The lunch was okay. And when we were stuck in Tokyo traffic after the tour, she made each of us an origami of Mt. Fuji and a paper crane. She’s just all kinds of adorable!
I would not recommend this tour. The amount of time spent on Mount Fuji was under 20 minutes. You can do absolutely nothing on the mountain in this time. You would have to pick either to quickly shop (without enough time to look around and decide what you want) or take photos. It is impossible to do both! I wanted to mail a postcard from the post office on Fuji but I barely had enough time to buy the postcard and didn't have the opportunity to mail it (which is all of the fun!). Isn't being on Mount Fuji the highlight of the tour? Why don't you let people spend time there then? The rest of the tour seemed like "filler" activities. Also, it got really cloudy in the afternoon so we saw nothing the rest of the tour. Honestly, my family and I say "skip it." This tour sucks.
Overall nice schedule.
Nice guide who tried to entertain us all time !
Various points to see and 3 of 5 were great, one was average, one was needless.
Lunch included was below average for Japan....
Thank you for joining tour and review.
We are happy to hear that.
We hope you have a lot of memories.
Best regard
Japan Panoramic Tours
I would recommend going on this tour in winter, as the ice cave will not have its iconic icicles in autumn.
The forest was absolutely stunning and our tour guide encouraged us to swing from grape vines and explore the area
Make sure to wear a good pair of outdoor shoes. I wore hiking shoes and they came in handy quite a few times in both the cave and the forest
The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke good English; however, the traffic on my particular day was bad due to a public holiday which caused our tip to change in order to accommodate the new timeline.
The time at Fuji is a bit too short regardless of the traffic situation, but it was still a decent way to learn about the mountain and get into Hakone.
I strongly recommend staying overnight in a Hakone and it is absolutely gorgeous and there is a lot you can do on your own
I was very happy with this tour. Everything was very well organized, and exactly as advertised. The views were spectacular. The guide, Yoshi, was very professional. Gave us a lot of information on Mount Fuji, and on Japan in general. At each step (sight-seeing, ropeway, boat ride) we got very clear instructions, and it enabled everything to run smoothly. As a one-day tour, this is as good as it gets. For those who would like to take it easy and see more of Hakuna, probably I would recommend to do it on their own and stay at least one night in Hakuna.
Mika San our guide was very lively and funny! very informative and helpfull. Driver was excellent . Lunch was impeccable and we are lucky enough to see mt fuji all day with clear skies and amazing weather.
Trip was overall well organized and was able to maximize our time . It was the best highlight of my japan trip.
will definitely book again!
We had a great experience, and Hitomi, the tour guide, was very good. We were fortunate to have good weather and had great views of Fujisan. My only knock on the tour was the stop at the sulpher area. We were there for too long and it just wasn’t that interesting. I’d much rather spend more time on Mt. Fuji. Otherwise, the bus was comfortable and the trip was well worth it.
I did not expect much from this tour since it's only 1 day and almost half was spent for pick up and driving to Mt Fuji, But Eriko-san (our Tour Guide) made it a better experienced. The knowledge and the delivery that she brought was amazing. The stopover although short was good, the lunch and the service was above than expected. Of course everything was done in a hurry but everything is worth it. I am with my son and wife but I know they are all listening to Eriko-san. Even on the way back to Tokyo Eriko-san still take care of us. Thank You very much.
A very enjoyable tour, we were blessed with good weather which allowed us to have good views of Mount Fuji and the vokcanic vents at Hakone. We thoroughly enjoyed the day but would advise to check weather forwcast before booking
