This is by far the best whale watch in Honolulu. I've been on both Navatek and Star of the Sea whale watches and they do not compare to the experience you get with this whale watch. The catamaran is very clean and the crew was great! They were not only observant to everyone's safety on board they were hilarious! My family (including a two year old toddler) had an amazing time. I was very fortunate to have found this activity through Veltra. I was hosting a friend who had never been on a whale watch and it was an amazing experience. We chose the late morning tour and it was perfect. The boat went out and the crew was able to find whales within 30 minutes from take off. There were an estimated 5 male humpback whales swimming together and we circled them while they dove. They were so magnificent and during the time we were watching them the crew members told us much about their behaviors. they told us why it wasn't unusual that a group of males would be traveling together and they also told us what would've been different if we had spotted a mama and her calf. Although none breached out of the water we saw them come to the surface many times. It was so amazing to see so many of them at once! At one point we saw all five come to the surface and blow water from their backs at the same time. Talk about a magical vacation moment!
I'd book this again in a heartbeat!!

Great afternoon with a wonderful crew. The boat was wonderful, the crew was very nice and helpful and we totally enjoyed ourselves. Would give the whole experience and A+++. we just went to this activity last Wednesday 8.30 am and it was great! We arrived a bit early and just took a walk around the park. very nice area. They have easy parking next to the Marina where you can park for $1.00/ hour. The crew on the cruise was very nice and made us feel welcome right away. We were only 6 on the cruise witch made it very intimate. I think that is one of the great advantages of the morning cruise, We took a drink and sat on the front nats until we saw turtle and dauphins and finally on the way back a couple whales. The whales were the least impressive as you stand far away and they don t really jump out of the water as you see on TV. It was one mother and one maybe and they basically just came up to the surface to breath every so often. Everything considering, this was a great way to spend morning. Maybe a bit overpriced but the crew and amenities were great.
Compare to the huge ships, I would choose this one every time just so you actually feel like you are on a boat .
Snacks could use improvement and the way back to marina was a bit rushed

The catamaran was the perfect vessel to get up close to Dolphins, turtles and other sea life. From the minute we got on board the entire crew had welcomed us and made us feel comfortable. The captain explained what we would see and the rules of the vessel and was ready and willing to answer any questions or address any issues. I was impressed that they offered sunscreen to use and oil for motion sickness. It was thoughtful of them and they really cared about their passengers having a good trip. They had refreshments and juices for free. They offered beer for ($1) and mixed drinks for ($2). The drinks were strong, too. : ) We saw several pods of Dolphins, turtles and a whale. It was an awesome experience. I would take my children next time we go to Hawaii. Thank you to all the crew. You were the best!

My family of four had a great time on this cruise. We did have some trouble finding the boat in the slip at the harbor. Directions could have been better. Once we were on the boat, everything was what was expected. The crew was very nice and helpful. We found a pod of whales right away and then went and snorkeled at a reef because we had time. Drinks were great along the way.

早朝7:30発で料金は午前発よりお得です。7:00集合ですがラハイナ港にはすでに結構人が来ているので、車を港の３時間無料パーキングに駐車するには7:00前には着いていたほうがよいです。あらかじめプリントアウトしておいたバウチャーをブースで出して名前を書き、「クルージングに伴う諸リスクを承知しています」との書類にサインすると、船のチケットを渡されます。同じ場所からモロカイ島行の船やシュノーケリングツアーの船も順番に出ます。前の船が出るまでは時間になっても船が入港して来ないので、よく周囲を見て乗り間違えないようにしましょう。早朝発には日本語ガイドはありませんが、ナチュラリストの方が英語でクジラの生態などを説明してくれます。３月上旬だと、クジラのピークはやや過ぎているとのことですが、それでも２時間のクルーズで10分に１頭くらいの割合で見れました。遠くに時々胸ビレや尾ビレが見える程度だったので、双眼鏡を持っていくといいかもしれません。天気は曇り。あらかじめ酔い止めを飲んでいました。波は静かで穏やかな日でしたので、大丈夫でした。飲食物持込OKですが、船中でスナックの販売もしていました。ジュース１本２ドルくらいのようでした。クルージングとしては爽やかですが、それほど近くでダイナミックなクジラの動きを見れたわけでもなかったので、１２歳の息子（や同船していたアメリカ人の?若い人たち）はやや退屈していました。

英語ガイドだったため、説明はわからないことも多かったですがクジラを間近で見れたので良かったです。
大きなジャンプは見れませんでしたが、尻尾をバシャバシャしたり、少し跳ねたりするのが見れました。
またクジラの時期に、ぜひ参加したいです。

Wow we saw momma baby and daddy humpbacks was saw whales all around us their tales were enormous it was the best day. We went mid morning the catamaran was spacious and very comfortable. Easy to board. The crew was very informative and friendly they were just as excited with all the action around us. We went in February 2015. I would highly recommend this tour.

早朝でクジラも寝ていたのか出てきませんが９時過ぎになって舟の近くに１５頭ほどのクジラが出現潮吹き・乱舞と身近に見る事が出来、無事ビデオに収めることが出来大満足でした

最高でした。
波の荒い中、約２時間の航海、五頭のクジラに合うことができました。
飲み物サービスもよく、スタッフの演出も大変フレンドリーで楽しめました。
酔い止めは、必ず必要です。 また寒く 前方にでると波もかなりかぶるのでタオル・レインウエアーは必携でしょう。
スタッフに日系人が、一人で日本語での乗船案内はしてくれましたが、あとは海とクジラとビールを楽しむモードでOKです。
尚、乗船するときは、裸足です。靴は、桟橋においていきますのでごっつい靴はいりません。

Fabulous weather and sightings more than we could count, including turtle! Food geared more for oriental tastes. Even though guides tried to control crowds for eating, it was caos! This was a great experience. Very knowledgable naturalist. The first cruise out we didn't see any whales, but they guarantee sightings, so they gave everyone a voucher for a free second trip. I went right back out on the lunch cruise and we saw a bunch of whales! We even followed (at a respectful distance) a mom and baby for about an hour. She breached right in front of our boat! The food was very good (especially because I originally signed up for the breakfast cruise so I wasn't counting on eating). Staff was great, I'd recommend this to anybody!

It was an amazing way to spend the day out on the bay! I have heard so much about how beautiful whale watching is, and they are not wrong. The captain and the naturalists on board knew everything and anything there is about humpback whales. They even have library books on their tables for everyone to read and learn. Lunch was great with an endless buffet of local food. The whales were awesome! They were flapping their tales every 5 minutes. We found a pod of about 6 whales. None of them however jumped or stood out of the water, but that is not a problem. We were fortunate to have found them in 20 minutes of departure. We had a good 2 hours of observing and trying to take as much pictures as we could.

素晴らしいツアーで、とてもフレンドリーで情報豊かなガイド（ボブ）がいました。マウイの内陸部をもっと見られたらよかったですが、それ以外は素晴らしかったです！素晴らしい景色、快適なバス、素晴らしい体験でした。誰にでもおすすめします。あの曲がりくねった道を運転しなくて済むのはとても良いことで、快適で安全に乗ることができました！
Excellent tour with very friendly & informative guide (Bob). Wish we would have seen more of upcountry Maui, but other than that was great! Fabulous views, comfortable bus, great experience. Would recommend to anyone, so nice not to have to drive that windy road, could enjoy the ride in comfort and safety!

人数的にもちょうどよく、みんなが見えやすい場所にいたと思います。
誰かが、クジラの気配を見つけると、割と小回り良くそのポジションに移動しました。
演出？！と思うくらいのイルカの大群にも出会え、、、肝心のクジラも姿丸ごとは観れませんでしたが（そうそうそういうもの？）

Roy and I really enjoyed ourself, the guys were all great, we have been on a few different whale watch tours thru out the years, and by all means this was the best, we got to experience at least 40 sightings of whales, was simple wonderful. Will tell all our friends that visit Oahu, while we were on the boat we first saw several turtles, had to laugh cuz the guys said to look for trash cans lids, that was the green sea turtles and we saw about five of them, also the snacks they served were great I ate a lot of the fresh fruit and had a beer that they had available on tap. We will be sure to pass the word on of the great time we had and have passed out a few of the extra business cards we had. Great time.

This was not a good experience for me because one of the crew members was rude at the beginning so it kind of ruined my trip. There was no lunch, they had some chips, an assortment of drinks and granola bars. We did not see too much whales but I guess it's not up to the crew, it is whenever whales want to get out of the water which in our case there wasn't that much to see. The boat was nice and I like the nets in the front, it was kind of fun to sit and watch the ocean from there. Drinks were good too. Captain was very good at maneuvering the boat. The boat was clean and acceptable. I think they could work on better manners for the crew and it won't be too bad.

On February 6, we went on the late morning whale watching tour. The winds had been 20 - 30 MPH earlier that week and the water had not settled down. In spite of this, Captain Josh and the crew gave us a great time. We were close enough to the humpback whales that I could catch their bodies with my camera. Plus it was fun seeing the whales blow water into the air.
I was impressed by the captain knowing both fluent English and Japanese and being very safety conscience.
The Crew was great. They pointed out whales, got us drinks and gave us great info on the whales. I also appreciated the shuttle picking us up and dropping us off.
All in all, it was a great trip. If I go Back to Hawaii, I will probably book another trip on this boat. I would highly recommend this captain and crew to anyone who wants a great day on the water.

Wow!! We did the afternoon whale watch on February 12, 2015. First, we are so happy we booked this tour instead of one of the large cruise-like ships. Everything was fantastic and exceeded our expectations from the very start. Our crew (Jacob, Julia, David and Dave) were phenomenal! Each was outgoing, friendly and very knowledgeable. They made sure each person was attended to and were in constant contact with each other as well as the passengers. We were so fortunate to have perfect weather/sea conditions and only 7 passengers, including ourselves, for the cruise. Because of its size, the catamaran easily maneuvered to change course when we spotted whales, which was often! Not only did our crew point out sightings, but also explained why whales did certain things, their habits and shared past whale experiences. We even got to see a sea turtle when we were heading back to the marina. We were so happy we booked with this company. The cruise was intimate and fun and the drinks were great, too! If you want a top-notch, personal experience, book here!! Even if we hadn't been so lucky to see so many whales, the sailing experience with these great people would have been well worth it!

We had a great time. The boat was on the smaller side, which was good...we could maneuver and move towards sighted whales more quickly and easier than the large vessels could. there were about 12 total guest on the boat with 4 total crew members, so the tour was very intimate. We enjoyed the friendliness and knowledge of the staff. Light snacks and refreshments were provided, and alcohol was available for $1 or $2 for those who wanted it. There was plenty of room in the covered area of the boat as well as the front deck. We spent the majority out on the deck, as the views from there were remarkable. One woman got seasick and the crew did what they could to help her out. I'd recommend Dramamine beforehand just in case! Regarding the actual whale sightings, we probably saw about 6 whales in the time that we were out there. Most of the time we would see the large fin protruding from the water a few times, and then we'd see the tale come up before the whale made a deep dive into the water. We saw one turtle as well. No spinner dolphins when we were out but I believe that those are a common sighting as well. The whales we saw were anywhere from 50-100 yards away, so we felt like we were pretty close, without being on top of them (they are huge!). Overall, we had a fantastic time. Just being out on the boat was worth the price, and the multiple sightings made it a great trip. Staff does not ask for tips, but we thought it was appropriate to leave one since they were so accommodating. I would certainly recommend to a friend!

常に船頭にクジラが来るようにしてくれるので小さな子供でもクジラが探しやすく楽しめました。
船内にはクジラの鳴き声などの展示があり子供は飽きることなく楽しめました。
ただ、自由購入の写真が高かったなぁと。もう少し安かったら買いたかったんですが。
コーヒー紅茶はセルフですが、コーヒーはﾃﾞｶﾌｪがあり授乳中の私は助かりました。
帰りのバスは自由に降りれたのでｱﾗﾓｱﾅで降りて午後の時間をすごしました。
かなり子供も大人も楽しめました！
