My family and I had a blast on our snorkel trip. This was our first time doing anything like this and it was amazing. We were able to see lots of fishes and turtles. The water was so clear that it made it so easy to spot fish. The captain and his crew were very professional and helpful. We had a great group of families with us and made the trip that much better. On another note we were able to see one of the crew members catch a fish on our trip. Fun time. Recommend for everyone to try.

Our guide Devin was very accommodating and knowledgeable! He was thorough when discussing safety in the reef and how best to use the equipment. He seemed to enjoy the experience as much as we did even though we know he does this every day! We were thrilled to be able to commune with sea turtles as they relaxed in the sunshine. He then navigated us through the coral reef and pointed out a bunch of wildlife we might have never have seen on our own. The snacks and drinks at the end of the tour were exactly what we needed after swimming for an hour and a half. We appreciated the personalized experience and would absolutely do this again!

Like I said it is affordable. The kids running the boat we’re friendly an did the best they could. 22 people, some of which had not only never snorkeled, but were clearly uncomfortable in the water were too much for the crew to safely manage. I personally had to save a struggling passenger while the guy that was working the lifeguard shift was wrangling other dingdongs! Not the lifeguards fault he was just dealing with too many other folks and couldn’t get to the panicky woman fast enough. I don’t mind, I am a water rescue swimmer with my fire department but still… Her screaming for help couldn’t be heard over the clamoring of the other passengers on deck and the music playing onboard. When folks are in the water 100% attention to the swimmers is the only safe option and if you can’t hear them then the music needs to be off and eyes need to be on the swimmers. The operation was also billed as a sailing and snorkeling adventure with sailing being the key word for me. The wind was fine and other boats were sailing but our sails never went up. If you’re on a budget do it. but for 20-30 more you could do the same thing with a power boat, dolphins and turtles, food and water, and a photographer who would gladly sell you the images from the trip for a few extra dollars. In all honesty a confident swimmer could have reached turtle canyon in a easy half hour of swimming but that’s not for everyone.

For those of you who don’t swim, don’t feel comfortable in the water, or have small children that don’t swim. this is not how you spend your money. Endangering yourself or your family because “anyone can snorkel” in open water, when you’ve never done it before makes the trip that much less enjoyable for everyone including the crew. It is not their job to pay all their attention to you, and it becomes unsafe for everyone else.

Any chance to get in the water will always be awesome for me so like I said it is affordable. If it’s your best option yay!

It is Amazing!!! In person always better than in the pictures!!! I would definitely do this again (on the nice current ) The ride from the pier was short which was really nice so we wouldn’t be so cold for a long time. The cost of this is great! Better than other deals I was searching.
We saw so many Manta and they were all under us and swam up close to us for the plankton ❤️

It is for sure one of the best memory for my Hawaiian trip!
We will be back!!!

It’s really hard to go wrong with a sunset/early evening swim with manta rays in Hawaii. 100% worth the $. Our 8 and 10 yr old loved it. 8 yr old was nervous but boat captain and crew explained everything, made it fun, and he was way less stressed once we got out there. Canoe ride is short, water isn’t too cold either. Actually, I don’t really remember the water temperature because I was too busy watching for manta rays and freaking out over how amazing it was.

This was money well spent. The crew was very nice and sent emails for confirmation reminders and directions. They were very knowledgeable and gave a ton of information about rays through the evening. This experience was worth it all! The crew was great and they took really good care of you! They pointed out the sea turtles and told us where to go so we can find them! I'm not a person who gets seasick but I did in the water after laying horizontally with the waves for so long.

Saw so many manta rays.. at least four. They came close many times. Enough to record and to turn off your camera and just live in the experience.

I liked this company because it's a small group and you get to ride a canoe.

The guide in the water was very nice and gave lots of information about the mantas. Small enough group that even though I was on the very end, I could hear him.

What an amazing experience we had swimming with turtles. Captain even took us out to see some whales before we hit turtle canyon. We had kids with us and it was perfect for them, wasn’t too long and they didn’t get bored. Crew was knowledgeable and very helpful. Well what can I say? The team was kind and answered any and all questions we had. We were promised sea turtles and we got just that. Getting to swim atleast 1.5meters away from the turtles as the came to the surface multiple times. Being able to observe multiple sea turtles swimming around the depths and the various fish of the reef. To wrap up an already amazing and special experience, we also got a lengthy surprise visit from a family of dolphins swimming up close and personal to the catamaran as we headed back to the harbour. Like I said, what can I say?! Definitely recommended to all who are interested. 5/5

We wanted to snorkel without taking a boat ride. This was a great option. Our party of 3 (grandparents with granddaughter) were all beginners to snorkeling. They provided nice equipment so we didn’t need to purchase anything. The instructor, Ryan, was very knowledgeable. He showed us how to wear the items properly. He taught us the simple steps of snorkeling - breathing through the tube and floating. The lagoon was a perfect, protected place. We saw many different fish and sea creatures. Ryan’s patience with beginners was much appreciated. This was money well spent for an experience we will never forget.
