  1. Amazing and informative experience

We had a great time at the kitsugi workshop where we not only learned exactly how to use the tools and create the art but also where we can get supplies to apply our learnings at home. Wholeheartedly recommend to take 3 hours out of your time in Tokyo to do this.

  3. BEYOND EXPECTATIONS

I can't even begin to describe how well thought out and amazing this tour was. I got to see hidden things and fit so much in one day without missing out on the important things. My tour guide was the best and the highlight of my experience. He changed some things to suit my taste but thankfully we were both Zoro fans. It was truly beyond my expectations.

It was the best experience we had during Okinawa trip. We were lucky and on the selected day there was only us 2 who was diving. Instructions were very clear and there was no language barrier. We booked 2 dives and it was perfect choice, as during 1st one you can feel nervous but during the 2nd dive it should be much easier. This kintsugi class was one of the first things we did in Japan, and yet it was one of our favorite activities over our two-week trip! Yoshiko and Yoshiichiro are welcoming, patient, knowledgable and talented instructors. We learned about the art of kintsugi and its history, snacked on delicious tea and snacks, and were guided through producing lovely pieces that we'll enjoy for years to come. Fu...more

This was a fantastic experience. The owner and her husband made us feel very welcome and provided excellent tuition. The tea and sweet treats were delicious. It was very clear that they were exceptionally talented, and the craftsmanship on display was incredible! We feel very inspired to continue Kintsugi at home and plan on breaking many plates!
  8. Great trip

We had a lot of free time to spend in the villages. The guide and driver were both very experienced and well organized. We loved the lunch in an traditional restaurant in a very small village. ( Only 9 houses). We can highly recommend this trip!

Highly recommend. This was our favorite part of a great trip! Toshie is a wonderful teacher and she has set up this easy-going experience so that it's fun and accessible for everyone. Absolutely worth the price! Our group was two couples, it was just us; I think she extended the time because she saw we were having fun. Skill and language are no barriers, she has pictures, labels, and experience...more
  10. Really cool Experience

Let me start by saying this art form is so cool and everywhere in Japan. And make no mistake, this is an art studio that has been passed down for generations. We had a great time and learned a lot of new things, immersing ourselves in this unique art form with wonderful teachers. Highly recommend.
