I received a notification that I couldn't go on the Jomon Sugi tour the day before due to the impact of the typhoon and rain. I rescheduled for the next day and gave it another try.

Jomon Sugi. The tour guide was Mr. Ishikawa. The greenery was incredibly beautiful, and somehow I managed to go and come back. I think it requires quite a bit of physical strength. My whole body is sore. Even though I rented rain gear and trekking boots due to the heavy rain, I ended up completely soaked. It was clear that Mr. Ishikawa loves nature, which made the experience very enjoyable. The other participants were also pleasant, and we had a fun time together. I learned that even when it rains, the scenery looks beautiful with the vibrant greenery.

Shiratani Unsuikyo. The tour guide was Mr. Minoda. Compared to Jomon Sugi, this was much lighter. I was moved by the moss-covered forest and Taiko Rock. It was sunny the whole time, and the breeze felt nice. It seems rare to have such clear weather at Taiko Rock in Yakushima, and the climate was a complete turnaround from the previous day. Mr. Minoda was also a wonderful person, and even though it was the last day, he taught me a lot about sightseeing on the island. It was a truly lovely memory.

台風と雨の影響で前日に縄文杉ツアーに行けないと連絡がありました。一日ずらして再チャレンジさせてもらいました。
縄文杉。ツアーアテンドは石川さん。とても緑が美しく、なんとか行って帰って来れました。かなり体力が必要だと思います。全身バキバキです。大雨でレインウェアやトレッキングブーツをレンタルしていても、結局びしょびしょになりました。石川さんは自然が大好きな方なんだなと言うのが伝わってきてとても良かったです。ツアー参加者も気持ちの良い方たちで楽しい時間でした。雨が降っていても景色が緑が映えてまた良いものだと知りました。
白谷雲水峡。ツアーガイドはミノダさん。縄文杉に比べたら大分軽めです。苔むす森と太鼓岩は感動しました。ずっと晴れていて、風も気持ち良かったです。屋久島で太鼓岩でこんなに晴れていたのは稀のようで、前日とは打って変わって気候に恵まれました。ミノダさんも素敵な方で、最終日でしたが島の観光について色々教えてもらいました。とても素敵な思い出です。

The trekking tour, while learning various things from the guide, was very enjoyable and educational! I learned about basic climbing and descending techniques, as well as nature... etc. The guide's passionate explanations about Yakushima warmed my heart. I would like to request this again when I visit Yakushima.

ガイドさんにいろいろ教えて頂きながらのトレッキングツアー、とっても楽しく、勉強になりました！
基本的な登山、下山方法や、自然について…etc、ガイドさんの屋久島愛溢れる解説に、心もほっこりしました。
また、屋久島観光する際にはお願いしたいです。

We participated as a family of four, with my first-grade daughter, fourth-grade son, and both parents.

It was a much more physically demanding experience than we expected, with a lot of swimming and movement, but it was an incredibly fun tour!

We started snorkeling at Shinjō Beach at 1 PM. The sea was so beautiful that it took my breath away, and we were able to see many fish and both large and small sea turtles!

The sea turtles showed no fear of people at all and came as close as about one meter, which left us a bit bewildered. Our guide, Taro, dove deep into the water to take a perfect family photo with the sea turtles!

Although my daughter isn't a strong swimmer yet and had some moments where she struggled, Taro kindly supported her, so she was smiling and enjoying herself the whole time. My son was also very engaged and participated actively, and the guide was great at keeping him safe while still having fun.

Next, we headed to Pumpkin Cave. Since we took a taxi to the meeting point, we were driven to the Pumpkin meeting spot by our guide's car (an additional 1,000 yen).

To get to Pumpkin Cave, we took a canoe from the beach. The guide explained how to operate the canoe, and it turned out to be surprisingly easy. My daughter rode with both parents, while my son went with the guide.

When we arrived at the entrance of Pumpkin, we swam inside. Once we stepped in, we were amazed by the untouched world of the cave, which felt like a different world!

Inside the cave, it was natural and rugged, making it challenging to enter and climb, but with the support of Taro and Kazuchan, both guides, my timid first-grade daughter and my heavier mother managed to get through!

On the way back, Kazuchan drove us to our hotel (an additional 1,000 yen). During the ride, he shared many recommendations for spots to visit, making the return trip really enjoyable. I'm already planning to go to one of those spots today!

Everyone we met during the tour was warm and friendly, making it a fulfilling day even with small children.

We are very grateful to our cheerful guides, Taro and Kazuchan, for making it such a fun day.

I highly recommend this tour to everyone!

小1女子、小4男子と、父、母の四人で参加しました。

思っていた以上にたくさん泳ぎ、体を動かすハードな内容でしたが、最高に楽しいツアーでした◎

午後13時、新城海岸にてシュノーケルからスタート。
とにかく海がキレイで感動しましたが、さらにたくさんのお魚さん、そして大小の海亀さんにも会えました！

海亀さんは、全く人を怖がるそぶりもなく、1mくらいの至近距離まで近づいてきてくれて、こちらが戸惑うほど。写真もガイドの太朗さんが海深くまで潜って、家族と海亀さんの集合写真をばっちり撮ってくれました！

娘がまだあまり泳げず、足を引っ張る場面がありましたが、ガイドの太朗さんが優しくフォローしてくれたため、娘も終始笑顔で楽しんでいました。
また、息子も常に前のめりで参加してましたが、楽しく相手をしていただきつつ、危ない場面では上手に注意もしていただき大変助かりました。

続いて、パンプキン鍾乳洞に向かいます。
我が家は集合場所までタクシーで来ていたので、パンプキンの集合場所へ、ガイドさんの車で送っていただきました。(別途1000円です)

パンプキン鍾乳洞までは、浜からカヌーに乗ります。
カヌーは、やり方をレクチャーいただき意外と簡単に操縦ができました。
娘は、父、母と3人で乗りました。
息子は、ガイドさんと一緒に乗せていただきました。

パンプキンの入り口につくと泳いで中に入りました。
中に一歩入ると、別世界で見たこともない手付かずの鍾乳洞の世界が広がっており、感動！

鍾乳洞の中は自然のままなので、入るのに苦労、登るのに苦労、とハードなポイントが満載でしたが、怖がりな小1娘、お尻が重い母も、太朗さん、そしてかずちゃんの二人のガイドさんに、フォローいただきなんとかクリアできました！

帰りは、ホテルまでガイドのかずちゃんに送っていただきました。(別途1000円)
帰りながら、おすすめのスポットをたくさんたくさん教えていただいて、本当に楽しい帰り道になりました。
早速、今日行ってきます！！

一緒に参加した方々もみなさん温かく、ハードながら小さな子連れでも大満喫の1日となりました。

爽やかすぎるガイドの太朗さんかずちゃんのお二人には、大変お世話になり、楽しい1日となりました。

〈SUP〉
In the calm sea without waves, enjoying the wind and forgetting about work was a luxurious moment... I signed up with that feeling, but the sensation of paddling and moving forward was refreshing, and I was desperately trying to maintain my balance while paddling. The instructor taught me patiently, so even someone like me, who is not very athletic, was able to stand on the board and enjoy it. I highly recommend it even for those who are not good at sports.

〈Snorkeling〉
I was able to swim with sea turtles, and both my wife and child were very moved. The sight of the blue damselfish sparkling in the sunlight was so beautiful that I could watch it forever. When my wife got seasick while snorkeling, the instructor wisely decided to return to shore early, which was a great help.

〈Pumpkin Cave〉
It was a grand adventure.
We paddled a canoe in the sea, entering a cave from the deep water where we couldn't touch the bottom and explored the cave. At the end, there was something from the pumpkin... This is something to enjoy after participating.
Wearing a life jacket means there's no worry about drowning, but it was still thrilling. My child’s eyes sparkled at the sights they had never seen before.

All the instructors were cheerful and attentive. The photos they took were sent to my smartphone on the same day. So quick!
I was truly amazed by how incredible these people are. Thanks to them, I experienced the best day ever. I am really grateful.

〈SUP〉
波のない静かな海で風を浴びながら仕事のことを忘れてボーっとする贅沢なひと時…そんな気持で申し込んだのですが、パドルを漕いで前に進む感覚が新鮮で必死にバランスを取りつつパドルを漕いでました。
インストラクターが丁寧に教えて下さったので運動神経が鈍い私でもボードの上に立って楽しむことが出来ました。運動が苦手な方でもぜひ。

〈シュノーケリング〉
海亀と一緒に泳ぐことができ、妻も子供もとても感動してました。ルリスズメダイが太陽の光でキラキラと輝く姿はとても美しくずっと見ていられます。
妻がシュノーケリングで波に酔ってしまった際、早目に岸に帰るようインストラクターが判断して下さりとても助かりました。

〈パンプキン鍾乳洞〉
大冒険です。
海でカヌー漕いで足のつかない深さの海から鍾乳洞に侵入し鍾乳洞を探検。最後にはパンプキンからの…。これは参加してからのお楽しみ。
ライフジャケットを着用するので溺れる心配はありませんがそれでもドキドキしました。
見たこともない景色に子供が目を輝かせてました。

インストラクターは皆さん明るくて丁寧。撮影して頂いた写真は当日にスマホに送信して頂けました。仕事早っ！
本当にスゴイ人たちだなぁと驚きました。お陰様で最高の1日を体験できました。本当に感謝しております。

For our honeymoon memories, we had the chance to take a photo with the Milky Way, which I had always wanted to do! The Milky Way was beautifully visible to the naked eye, and it looked even more stunning in the photo, making it the best memory ever.

新婚旅行の思い出に、ずっと撮ってみたかった天の川との写真を撮ってもらいました！肉眼でも天の川が綺麗に見えて、写真になるとより美しく写り、最高の思い出になりました。

I came to Okinawa for diving and snorkeling in Kerama. The weather was great, and both the sky and the sea were very blue and beautiful. I was really glad to see a sea turtle. However, at the end, I was told something unpleasant by a staff member, which ruined the beautiful sea experience and turned my memories of Kerama into something disappointing.

慶良間でダイビングとシュノーケルを目的に沖縄に来ました。天気がよくて、空も海もとても青くてキレイで、ウミガメを見ることが出来て本当に来てよかったと思いました。ただ最後にスタッフの方に嫌なことを言われ、せっかくのキレイな海が台無しになり、慶良間が嫌な思い出になってしまったのがとても残念です。

I participated with my 9-year-old and 6-year-old children. The guide was very experienced in outdoor activities, and we felt safe throughout the tour! He was knowledgeable about wildlife and birds, and the kids were very curious and learned a lot. They had a wonderful experience seeing things they wouldn't normally see in everyday life, and they were so lively! I would like to request this again when we go to Iriomote Island. 😊

９才、６才の子どもと参加しました。
ガイドさんはアウトドア経験が豊富で、終始安心してツアーに参加することができました！
生きものや鳥類にも詳しく、子どもたちは興味津々でいろいろなことを教えていただきました。
普段の生活では見ることのできないものや、貴重な経験が出来て、子どもたちが生き生きしていました！
また西表島へ行く際には、お願いしたいと思います(^^)

This was my first experience with stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). The guide explained how to ride the board and enjoy SUP in a very easy-to-understand way, which made it a lot of fun! The lady took a lot of pictures, but since you can move around quite freely, I thought it would be great to bring my own waterproof case for my phone or a GoPro to capture even more amazing photos. Watching the sunset from the ocean is an experience that you can't have just anywhere, so I was able to create lifelong memories in Miyako Island. I want to do it again! Thank you very much!

今回はじめてSUPの経験をしました。ガイドの方がとてもわかりやすくボードの乗り方やSUPの楽しみ方を教えてくれたためとても楽しかったです！お姉さんがたくさん写真撮ってくれますが、結構自由に行動することができるので、自分で携帯の防水ケースやGoPoを持って行くともっと素敵な写真が撮れると思いました。海の上から見れる夕日はなかなか味わうことの出来ない経験なので、宮古島で一生の思い出を作ることができました。また、やりたいです！ありがとうございました！

I had high expectations for Kerama, but maybe because I used to dive when I was younger, I wasn't really moved by the beauty of the ocean... I think the sea in Miyako Island is still more stunning?! It was great to jump off the second floor of the boat and that the boat had a slide! I wish there had been more introductions to the marine life from the guide, though—most of the time we were just free diving. With so many participants, it's understandable that there were about ten people per guide...

慶良間に対する期待値が高かったのか、ダイビングを若い頃やっていたからなのか、海の綺麗さにはいまいち感動ってモノがなかった…宮古島の方がやっぱり海の綺麗さはうわっまっているかな？！船の2階から飛び込んだり、船にスライダーが付いていたのは良かったね！　もっとガイドさんによる海の生き物紹介があっても良かったかなぁ〜ほとんどフリーでやっていたので。参加人数が多いので1人のガイドに10人弱だと仕方がないか…

During the tour, and even during the transfers, they provided various explanations about Ishigaki Island, which was enjoyable and educational.

ツアー中はもちろん、送迎の時も色々と石垣島などについての説明してくれたので、楽しかったし、色々学べた。

I participated in bioluminescent snorkeling! It was my first time snorkeling, but they carefully and thoroughly taught me how to put on the wetsuit, use fins, and wear the underwater goggles, so I was able to enjoy it without any worries! The weather was clear that day, and the starry sky was amazing! The bioluminescent organisms were also very magical!

It seems that the meeting time for night snorkeling changes according to sunset, so be sure to check for updates from the shop! When putting on the wetsuit, participants go outside together, so it's best to bring your swimsuit. It was smoother to wear it before going to the shop.

夜光虫のシュノーケリングに参加しました！
初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが、
ウェットスーツの着方から足ヒレ、水中ゴーグルの使用方法まで細かく丁寧に教えてくれて、不安なく楽しめました！
当日は快晴で満点の星空が素晴らしかったです！
夜光虫もとても幻想的でした！

夜のシュノーケリングは日の入り時間に合わせて集合時間が変わるようなのでお店さんからの連絡、要チェックです！
ウェットスーツを着る際、お店の外に出て参加者の皆さんと一緒にスーツを着るので、水着は必ず持って行ったほうがいいです！お店に行く前に着て行く方がスムーズでした。

I participated in a sunset canoe tour. It was our first experience as a couple, and we were a bit anxious, but the energetic instructor kindly taught us how to paddle. At first, we weren't going in the direction we wanted, but little by little, we got the hang of it and were able to paddle well together.

Of course, the sunset was beautiful, but watching the changing colors of the sky from the sea was an incredibly luxurious and happy time. We took turns getting photos in the best positions, and another instructor took many pictures for us in between. It was truly a wonderful experience and a great memory.

Besides us, there were families with children and a group of girls participating as well. I chose canoeing this time because I’m not confident in my physical abilities, but seeing others trying stand-up paddleboarding made me think that falling into the sea could be fun and exciting.

サンセットカヌーのツアーに参加しました。
夫婦二人共初めての体験で不安もありましたが、元気なインストラクターの方が漕ぎ方など丁寧に教えてくださりました。最初は思う方向に進まなかったのですが、少しずつコツを掴み、二人で上手く漕げるようになりました。
夕日はもちろんですが、空の景色が少しずつ変わっていく様子を海の上で眺めるのは、何とも贅沢で幸せな時間でした。
順番にベストポジションで写真を撮ってもらったり、もう一人のインストラクターの方が合間に沢山写真を撮ってくださりました。本当に素敵な体験が出来、記念になりました。
私達の他にお子様を連れたご家族の方や、女の子のグループも参加していました。
運動に自信がないので今回はカヌーにしましたが、SUPに挑戦している方をみると、ざぶんと海の中に落ちるのもわいわいして楽しそうだなと思いました。

The day of the sea turtle snorkeling and Pumpkin Cave tour unfortunately started with quite a bit of rain. I wasn't very excited as I headed to the meeting place, but the sea was clear, and I was able to see sea turtles! Our guide worked hard to take photos for us, so I received some precious pictures that I couldn't have taken myself!

Also, the Pumpkin Cave was an unexpected activity, but it turned out to be a valuable experience. Despite the bad weather, it was a fun and memorable tour! Our guide, Yuto, was very kind and helped us get through the unexpected Pumpkin Cave tour successfully. I would love to visit Miyako Island again!

ウミガメシュノーケリングと、パンプキン鍾乳洞のツアーの日は、あいにく朝から結構な雨…。あまりテンションも上がらず集合場所に行ったのですが、海は濁ることもなく、ウミガメも見ることができました！ガイドさんが頑張って写真を撮ってくれたので、自分では撮れない貴重な写真をいただけました！
また、パンプキン鍾乳洞は、まさかのアクティビティでしたが！、こちらも貴重な経験ができ、天気が悪かった分、楽しさと思い出になるツアーでした！
ガイドのゆうとさんが、親切に対応してくれたので、まさかのパンプキン鍾乳洞ツアーも、無事乗り切れました！宮古島、また訪れたいです！

The most important thing I want to say is, "I am truly grateful to our guide. Her name was Yabuta, and I really appreciate everything!" Since I was struggling, she kindly carried my backpack and led the way.

As for the places we couldn't visit, we had to give up on Taiko Rock and Shiratani Unsuikyo on the second day due to my slow pace and lack of stamina, and we only managed to make a round trip to Jomon Sugi over two days. I mistakenly thought that the first day’s trek to Jomon Sugi was the most challenging, and that Taiko Rock and Shiratani Unsuikyo would just be downhill. However, according to our guide, the second day is actually more difficult. We would have to return partway down the Jomon Sugi course and then climb back up from that junction. My daughter had wanted to visit Yakushima, and while I had assumed Yakushima meant Jomon Sugi, it turns out she was most eager to see Shiratani Unsuikyo. I regret my misunderstanding (if I had known, I could have just gone to Shiratani Unsuikyo from the start), but my daughter said she wants to go to Shiratani Unsuikyo next time, so we have a new goal.

Regarding the pre-trip information, as this was my first time in Yakushima, I read various guidebooks and researched online, but I still couldn't quite visualize it. I sincerely wish there were more detailed descriptions in the tour information from Veltra, particularly about the routes (like elevation changes) and distances. It mentioned a five-hour one-way trek, but since I walk slowly, I thought an overnight trip would be better, so I requested this course, but even then, it was a struggle to make the round trip to Jomon Sugi in two days (especially with the guide carrying my backpack). After returning home, I reviewed several guidebooks again and found one that included a cross-section of Yakushima, which made me realize just how challenging this course is. It might not sound promotional to say it’s difficult, but I believe there are many people like me, beginners who come to Yakushima with just admiration. Therefore, I really hope for a bit more communication about this. I want the first trip to Yakushima to be a wonderful experience. For someone as inexperienced as I am, it’s a tough course, and I don’t even know what I don’t know about the mountains.

Additionally, the staff at the tourism association were very kind when I called with various questions, but I still felt overwhelmed by how much I didn’t understand, and there’s a limit to what can be clarified over the phone.

For beginners, there are many dangerous spots!
1. There are several bridges without handrails (with a river far below). This can be difficult for those with a fear of heights, and a fall could lead to serious injury. I personally struggle with heights, but when I saw the bridge in front of me, I felt I had no choice but to go. When I looked down, I panicked and almost lost my balance, so I walked slowly, trying not to look down. However, there were gaps in the planks, and I accidentally got my trekking pole stuck in those gaps a few times, which was quite nerve-wracking and felt like a matter of life and death.
2. The walking paths are, as expected, covered with irregular tree roots over granite, which can be very slippery. The ground is often wet from the rain. In my attempt not to inconvenience the guide and my daughter, I rushed and ended up slipping and falling on my backside, which was quite dangerous.
3. The latter half of the ascent is steep. After passing Wilson's stump and the last water refill point, the steps become taller, and there are also steep sections with logs as steps... This indicates a significant incline. It seems like the Forestry Agency is implying, "If you can make it this far, you should be fine with these kinds of steps, right?" But honestly, it’s dangerous. I kept thinking that if I got injured here, it would inconvenience many people, and I really didn’t want that.

As a bonus, although the two days were completely exhaust

※1番言いたいことは、「ガイドさんに本当にお世話になりました。やぶたさんとおっしゃる女性のかたでしたが、本当にありがとうございました！」と言うことです。私がおぼつかないので、途中から私のリュックまで背負ってくださり、先導してくださいました。

※行けなかった太鼓岩、白谷雲水峡
　あまりの歩みの遅さと体力の無さで、２日目の太鼓岩と白谷雲水峡はあきらめて、縄文杉だけの往復を２日かけて行いました。
　私のイメージでは、1日目の縄文杉がマックス険しくて、太鼓岩、白谷雲水峡は降りていくだけだと誤った考えでした。
　ですが、ガイドさんによると、２日目の方が険しいそうです。縄文杉コースを途中まで戻り(つまり、降りて)その分岐点からまた登っていく、とのことでした。
　娘が行きたがっていた屋久島。私は屋久島=縄文杉、と思い込んでいましたが、娘は白谷雲水峡に1番行きたかったらしいです。私の勘違いで残念でしたが(だったら、最初から白谷雲水峡だけ行けば良かったわけで…)、この次は白谷雲水峡に行きたいと娘が言い、次の目標ができました。

※事前情報について
　初めての屋久島で、色々ガイドブック読んだり、ネットで調べましたが、今ひとつイメージが湧きませんでした。
ベルトラさんのツアー説明で、もう少し詳しくあると良いなと切に願います。ルートについての情報(下に書いたように高低差とか)とか、距離などなど。
　片道５時間とありましたが、私は歩みが遅いので、泊まりがけのが良いかなぁと思い、このコースをお願いしましたが、２日かけて縄文杉往復だけで精一杯でした(しかも、リュックをガイドさんに担いでいただいて、です)
　帰って来てから、もう一度何冊かガイドブックを見直したら、あるガイドブックに屋久島の断面図(イメージでしょうが)が載っていて、今更ながらこのコースの険しさを知りました。
　険しいですよ、と言うと宣伝にならないかもしれませんが、山初心者で屋久島に憧れだけで来る私のような人も多いと思います。ですので、本当にもう少しアナウンスお願いします。初めての屋久島の旅が素晴らしいものになりますように。山について、何がわからないのかがわからないほどの初心者には難しいコースです。
　また、観光協会の方は電話で色々聞いたらとても親切でしたが、やっぱり色々わからなすぎなので、電話で聞くのも限界がありました。

※初心者には危険箇所がたくさん！
①手すりの無い橋(はるか下に川)が何ヵ所もあります。高所恐怖症の人には難しいし、落ちたら大怪我だと思います。私自身は高い所とても苦手です。でも、目の前に橋が現れて、もう行くしかない、と思い、下を見たらパニクってバランス崩して落ちそうなので、小刻みに少しずつ歩きながら下を見ないように歩きました。でも、渡し木に隙間があり、ステッキを何度かその隙間(空間。空振りって感じ)についてしまい、ヒヤヒヤしてホント命がけでした。
②歩く道は、当たり前ですが木の根が花崗岩を覆うように不規則にたくさん張っていて、これがすごく滑るのです。足元は雨が多く湿っていますので。ガイドさんと娘に迷惑かけまいと焦ったら、滑ってお尻から落ちて大変危険でした。
③登りの後半が険しい
　ウィルソン株を過ぎて、最後の水補給の場所を過ぎてから、階段も一段一段の高さが大きくなり、また、急斜面を丸太を渡しただけの階段もあり。。。それだけ、勾配がある、ということなのでしょう。
　が、林野庁が管轄のようですが「ここまで来られるなら、階段もこういうもので大丈夫っしょ⁈」と暗に言われてる気がしました。
　いや、もう、行くしかないし、ホント危険ですよ。ここで怪我したら、多くの人に迷惑かかるだろう、それだけは嫌だとばかり思って登っていました。

<おまけ>
　全く余裕の無い二日間でしたが、頼もしいガイドさんのおかげでなんとかケガもせず帰って来られましたし、ガイドさんが教えてくれた、高塚小屋で見た星のまたたき(木の枝の間からでも強い光を発している)は忘れられません。
　縄文杉は触れませんが、そこに至るまでに触れることができる屋久杉が何本もあります。ふかふかで水滴がキラキラしている苔に覆われていました。そっと触って「忘れないでね」とお願いして来ました。

このツアー行くまでは、正直楽しみよりも不安の方が大きかったですが(自分の予定の立て方が悪いんですが)、なんとかガイドさんのおかげで下山できてからは、山道具のレンタルのお店の方も親切でしたし、その後泊まった民宿のご飯とっても美味しかったり、レンタカー屋のおばさんもものすごく親切だったり、お土産物屋のスタッフの方たちもとても親切で、ホント中身のぎっちり詰まった旅となりました。

I was recommended by a friend that if you're going to Miyako Island, you absolutely have to see this, so I booked the tour this time.

Since we go to the entrance of the cave by canoe, I recommend saving your energy for the return trip (laughs).

The tour guide, Kei, was very thorough in his explanations and took a lot of photos, making it a wonderful memory. I think it would be even better if you have an underwater camera.

This is an activity I would definitely recommend to anyone going to Miyako Island!

カヌーで鍾乳洞入口まで行くので、帰りの体力を温存しておく事を推奨します(笑)

ツアーガイドのけいさんが、とても丁寧に説明してくれたり写真をたくさん撮ってくれたので素敵な思い出になりました。
水中で使えるカメラもあれば、尚良いと思います。

I participated in snorkeling in the Kerama Islands. The staff provided thorough explanations and guidance, which was great. They also took photos, so I have some nice memories. I felt very refreshed and would love to join again.

慶良間諸島のシュノーケルに参加しました。スタッフの方々も丁寧な説明と案内でよかったです。写真も取ってくださり記念も残りました。とてもリフレッシュできたのでまた参加したいです。

The Kerama Islands were beyond my imagination. I was lucky to encounter clownfish and sea turtles. I got so caught up in chasing them. I had a great time. I took a lot of photos, which will become wonderful memories. Next time, please let me join a full-day tour.

This time I experienced the half course. Just when I was getting used to whether the canoe would go straight, it ended, and I was merely drifting down a river with unchanging scenery. The goal point of the half course is beyond where a wetland spreads out, and it seems to be a world reminiscent of a jungle cruise. Since there wasn't much to see, I regret not opting for the full course...

今回ハーフコースを体験しました。
カヌーが真っ直ぐ進むかどうか慣れてきた頃に終了で、只々景色の変わらない川を下るのみです。
ハーフのゴール地点はその先に湿地帯が広がっており、まさしくジャングルクルーズの世界が広がっているらしいです。
見所が無かったので、フルコースにしておけば良かったと後悔してます…。

The staff were kind, and I had a great time snorkeling. I didn't get to see any sea turtles this time, but I would like to participate again if I have the chance.

スタッフの方も親切で楽しいシュノーケリングができました。
今回はウミガメに会えませんでしたが、また機会があれば参加したいです。

I was guided by the veteran Iwamoto, who has been in this field for 30 years, to the mouth of the Urauchi River by canoe. The sunset viewed from the water was absolutely stunning. After seeing a sky full of stars, we entered a mysterious narrow stream. In the darkness, I saw bats flying in front of me, heard the sounds of fish jumping, the rustling of something stepping on fallen leaves, and the hooting of an owl—everything felt eerie and mystical (there's no way I would have gone without Iwamoto). By the time we returned to the mouth of the river, it was completely dark. In that setting, as I dipped the paddle into the water to head back to the starting point, countless glow-in-the-dark insects lit up, which was also very mystical. I’ve done various activities like daytime mangrove kayaking and night jungle tours, but this was the best optional tour. Next time I come, I definitely want to do this with my kids as well!

この道30年のベテラン岩本さんに案内して頂き、カヌーで浦内川河口付近へ。水上から見るサンセットは最高でした。満点の星を見た後は、怪しげな細い流域に入ります。暗闇の中、目の前をコウモリが飛んだと思えば、あちこちで魚が跳ねる音、何かが落ち葉を踏む音、ミミズクの鳴き声、全てが不気味&神秘的です（岩本さん無しで行く気には到底なりません）。河口に戻ってくる頃には完全に暗闇です。そんな中で、スタート地点に戻ろうと水面にパドルを差し込むと、無数の夜行虫が光って、これもまたとても神秘的です。昼間のマングローブカヤック、歩きでのナイトジャングルツアーなど、色々やりましたが、オプショナルツアーとしてはこれが最高でした。次回来たら、今度は子供も入れて必ずやりたいと思います！

I participated with my 14-year-old child. The guide was cheerful and had a passion for the Okinawan sea. I would like to participate again.

For those who want to enjoy the scenery at a leisurely pace, I recommend signing up for the guided course where a guide will paddle for you (a course with a guide who rides along).
Since several groups receive explanations together, there is a bit of waiting time before getting on the canoe.
It was a hot summer day, but the water surface was cool, and I think it's a great course that can be enjoyed by people of all ages!

何グループか合同で説明などを受ける為、カヌーに乗るまでの時間が少しあります。
真夏の天気でしたが、水面は涼しく、どの年齢でも楽しめる良いコースだと思います！

This was my first trip to Okinawa, and one of my goals was to see a sea turtle, so I joined a snorkeling tour with Veltra on July 5. I chose Veltra because the tour visits three snorkeling spots and allows plenty of time, which increases the chances of seeing a sea turtle. They also provide everything from the snorkeling gear to lunch, drinks, and towels, making it easy to participate without bringing much.

I was worried when I didn’t see any sea turtles at the first two spots, but at the third spot, I was thrilled to finally see one! It was a moment that made me feel the guides' determination to help us see a sea turtle.

We could also take a shower on the boat, and valuables could be stored at the shop before departure, so I felt safe participating alone. As a man in my 50s, I appreciated that there were instructors available for beginners, which added to my comfort.

The photos were taken by the instructors and I downloaded them later, making for a wonderful keepsake. I’ve also booked a tour for my trip to Hokkaido in September! I will continue to use their services in the future.

今回は初めての沖縄旅行で、目的のひとつでもあるウミガメに会うために、7月5日にveltraさんのツアー（シュノーケル）に参加しました。
veltraさんを選んだ理由は、シュノーケルのポイントを3箇所周り、時間もたっぷり取ってもらっているため、ウミガメに会える確率が高いことと、シュノーケルセットから昼食、飲み物、タオルまで用意されていて、手ぶらで参加できる気軽さで選ばせていただきました。
今回2箇所のポイントでウミガメに会えず、ダメかなと思った3箇所目のポイントで、見事！ウミガメに会え、テンション爆上がりでした！！
ウミガメに会わせたいという、ガイドさんたちの執念を感じた瞬間でした。
船でシャワーも浴びられ、貴重品は出発時ショップで預かって貰えるため、一人での参加も安心して出来ました。
当方50代オヤジですが、初心者の方にはインストラクターさんが付いていてくれるため、その点も安心です。
写真はインストラクターさんが撮ったものを後でダウンロードしたもので、大切な記念にさせてもらいます。
9月の北海道の旅行もツアー予約しました！
今後も利用させていただきます。

Since I was a paper driver traveling alone, I made an immediate decision when I found this tour. The earphone guide on the bus was also very good! I was impressed that we could reach the far end of Okinawa in just one day.

ペーパードライバーのひとり旅だったのでこのツアーを見つけた時には即決しました。車内でのイヤホンガイドもとても良かったです！日帰りで沖縄の端まで行けたことに感動しました。

When I participated, I was able to see various creatures such as coconut crabs, pythons, and owls. The starry sky was beautiful, and the guide shared enjoyable stories. I would like to participate again.

私が参加した時はヤシガニ、ハブ、フクロウ等様々な生き物を見ることが出来ました。
また、星空も綺麗でガイドさんが楽しくお話をしてくださいました。また参加したいと思います。

It was a tour guide full of puns. While it wasn't laugh-out-loud funny, I appreciated their earnest effort to create a friendly atmosphere throughout the tour.

ダジャレ満載のツアーガイドでした。笑うほど面白くは無いですが、終始和やかな雰囲気を作ろうと懸命な姿勢に好感が持てました。

The infection control measures were in place, so I felt safe participating.

This time, we participated as a pair, and neither of us were good swimmers, plus it was our first time entering the ocean, so we were very anxious. However, the instructor guided us to the cave, which made us feel at ease.

After a while, we were able to swim without assistance, allowing us to slowly enjoy the underwater scenery and the cave. They took some amazing photos for us, and it seemed like there were no other customers around, so it felt almost like a private experience. We truly made wonderful memories. Thank you!

感染対策が取られていて安心して参加できます。

今回2人で参加しましたが、どちらも泳ぎは得意ではなくて海に入るのも初めてでとても不安でしたが、インストラクターの方が洞窟まで引っ張って行ってくれたので安心出来ました。
途中から補助なしで泳げたのでゆっくり海の中や洞窟を見て楽しむ事が出来ました。

たまたま他のお客さんが居てない時間だったようでほぼ貸切状態で本当にいい思い出ができました。

My honeymoon was in Yakushima. My husband, who said we would go again someday, passed away suddenly 14 years ago. Around the time of his memorial service, I participated in a solo trip to trek to Jomon Sugi to heal my heart. This year marks our 50th wedding anniversary. Unless I remarry (which is unlikely at my age), and as long as I am alive, I had decided that our golden wedding anniversary would be celebrated with the Jomon Sugi trekking. However, the tour company had an age restriction of 6 to 70 years old, which was quite a dilemma for me. After researching online and applying, I received a confirmation notice, and I was truly happy. This time, I participated not alone but with a friend. Ten years ago, it rained unfortunately, and I had a tiring experience with rain gear on and raindrops falling on my lunch. But this time, I didn't encounter a single drop of rain, and with Mr. Mitsuhashi as our guide, it was a lot of fun. Since I hike every week, it wasn't tough at all, and it was the best! Thank you very much. They called me properly three days ago and the day before, and I thought it was a very sincere company.

新婚旅行が屋久島でした、いつか又行こうね、と言っていた夫は14年前突然他界しました、三回忌済んだ頃、独りで傷心旅行で縄文杉トレッキングに参加しました、今年は結婚50年目です、私が再婚しない限り（この年で有り得ない）そして、私が生きてる限り二人だけの金婚式は縄文杉トレッキングと決めていたのです、ところが、ツアー会社では６歳から７０歳ではありませんか～ウ～ン困った困った……それでネットで調べて申込みしたら、決定通知が届き、本当に嬉しかったです、今回は独りでなく友達と二人で参加しました、１０年前、あいにくの雨、雨具着て、弁当にも雨が落ち、かなり疲れた想いがありましたが、今回は一ミリの雨にも遭わず、三橋さんのガイドでとても楽しく登れました。毎週登山しているので、全然きつくなくて、最高でした❢ありがとうございました、三日前も、そして前日もキチンと電話くださり、とても誠意ある会社だ、と思いました。

In the morning, we went snorkeling with sea turtles! They carefully explained how to use the equipment like goggles and fins, and once the snorkeling began, they took us to various stunning spots where we could see Nemo and beautiful coral, capturing great photos along the way! We were even lucky enough to meet a sea turtle, which was said to be a rare sight!

After a break, we gathered at a different beach in the afternoon for a SUP experience! It turned out to be an amazing day filled with fun in the beautiful sea! We took lots of great photos and made wonderful memories! Thank you so much!!

まず午前中はウミガメシュノーケルに行きました！
ゴーグルやフィンなど道具の使い方を丁寧に説明してくれて、シュノーケルが始まってからはニモが見える所やサンゴが綺麗な所など色々な絶景ポイントで写真を撮ってくれました！そして見れたらラッキーぐらいだと言われていたウミガメにも会うことができて最高でした！
一旦解散し午後からは違うビーチで集合しSUP体験をしました！綺麗な海でたくさん遊べて最高な1日になりました！良い写真もいっぱい撮ってくれて良い思い出ができました！ありがとうございました！！

I traveled from Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island and stayed at a glamping facility. The next day, although I had no plans, I decided to look for activities I could join, and I found this canyoning tour that was available for booking, so I reserved it immediately! (There was a campaign where if I wrote a review later, I would get a cash back for one person!)

I was picked up at the port along with other guests and we headed to the river by car. There were guests who had been participating since the morning, creating a friendly atmosphere. It was fun to hear about the creatures that inhabit Iriomote Island during the ride!

I was a bit anxious since it was my first canyoning experience, but physically, I had no problems at all! We went through some tricky spots, but I felt that as long as I followed the advice given, there was hardly any danger. There were places where you could jump in and areas where you could slide like a waterslide, which was a bit scary but turned out to be a great experience! (If you're scared, it's okay not to do it!)

They provided helmets and shoes, so I really could go hands-free!

I had a waterproof case, but I was worried, so I left my phone (camera) in the car. Some people brought GoPros, but the staff took photos at various points and sent them to us! (I wish they had taken some pictures of the scenery too.)

Since it was a river, it didn't feel sticky like swimming at the beach, and I was glad that I could use the shower at the office on the way back, so I felt refreshed before boarding the ferry!

I decided to join at the last minute, but I'm really glad I did!

石垣島から西表島に渡り、グランピング施設に宿泊、翌日はノープランだったのですが、せっかくならと翌日参加できるアクティビティを夜な夜な探したところ、こちらのキャニオニングツアーが予約可能だったので即予約！(後日体験談を書けば、1人分キャッシュバックされるキャンペーン中でした！)


他のお客さんと一緒に港でピックアップしてもらい、車で川へ向かいました。午前中から参加しているお客さんもいて、和気あいあいとした雰囲気でした。車内では西表島に生息する生き物の話などもしてもらえて楽しかったです！

初めてのキャニオニングで少し不安もありましたが、体力的には全く問題なかったです！足場の悪いところをいきますが、アドバイスされたとおりに進めば危険もほとんど無いと思いました。
飛び込みできる場所があったり、スライダーのように滑れる場所があったり、ちょっと怖かったですが良い経験になりました！(怖い人はやらなくても大丈夫でした！)

ヘルメットもシューズも貸してもらえるので、ほんとに手ぶらで大丈夫でした！

防水ケースは持っていましたが心配だったので携帯(カメラ)は車に置いていきました。
ゴープロを持って来ている方もいましたが、スタッフさんがポイントポイントでは撮って送ってくれます！(景色なども撮ってほしかったなー)

川なのでビーチで泳ぐのとは違いベタつかず、帰りに事務所でシャワーを使うことができたので、スッキリして帰りのフェリーに乗れてよかったです！

直前で参加を決めましたが、参加できてよかったです！
