Tokyo
My hotel was in Asakusa, really near the pick-up location.
Everything was excellent: the food, the guide, the schedule, etc. Except the weather was so bad. It was raining all day. But I enjoyed the trip, just a little bit upset that I couldn't take a good picture :(
This tour was really great!!! It's with the company Gray Line Tours and they take you to Fuji, Hakone sky gondola, Owakudani valley, and a cruise on lake Ashi. Our guide "Yoshi" was really funny, interesting, and informative. He told us just the perfect amount of information and made it memorable. He took care of us well on the bullet train too. There was enough time at all the destinations to enjoy. I recommend this trip to Mt Fuji and the surrounding area!
Unfortunately, it was a cloudy rainy day so we didn't see Mt. Fuji.
Went up the aerial tram and bought black eggs to try.
The best part of the tour was the all-you-can -eat Japanese buffet.
There was a great selection of meats to choose from.
I did not enjoy the outlet mall as they are the same stores as we have in Canada. Even if they weren't, I'm not into shopping..
It was difficult to find a good tour that day as some were cancelled due to the
holiday weekend and there was too much traffic.
I booked this trip about two weeks in advance thinking all would go well, but it rained the entire time. It’s not the tour guides fault, but was a bit disappointed we didn’t get to see Mt Fuji not get to take the sky ride. The tour guide and layout, however, were excellent! The tour guide was quite humorous and was able to take light off of the fact that we had bad weather. Was still worth the money.
We went on the tour on a Sunday over a long weekend so the traffic heading to Mount Fuji was bad. What usually takes 90mins became a 3 hours bus ride there. What was meant to be a 9 hour tour became a 12 hour tour because of the traffic jam going and returning. We had Blair as our guide and he did a great job managing our expectations, cracking jokes so that the long hours in the bus were bearable. He was really friendly and helpful. We didn't have much time at Ninja Village and Lake Kawaguchi because of the traffic jam, but we got to see Mount Fuji very clearly from the 5th station. The 4D simulation ride was also good fun although I did feel a bit giddy after watching it (from the visuals). I would still recommend it nonetheless.
The buffet lunch was average, and not worth 2,000 Yen in my opinion, but because of the crowds there, it was helpful to have lunch provided and all ready when you arrive (saves a lot of time).
If you don't have time to stay over in that area, this tour covers a lot in a day.
Thank you you for joining our tour.
We are happy to get 5 stars and a great comment.

the tour was good.the tourist guide was friendly.the best part was at the oshino ninja village,we were able to watch the ninja show.it would be advisable to get this tour during spring time,to see the mt. fuji clearly.

The tour was well organised, the tour guide was the best we had all week, Yoshi was helpful and informative. The weather was not the best but we still had an amazing time. 5th Station was very misty, the shrine there was worth a look. Cable car up to Volcano crater was good, black eggs and a spot of shopping. The boat trip was good, we managed to see Mount Fuji for about 30 seconds and got a picture too.
Well presented, staff knowledge provided most helpful response to queries and made the day a great success
We enjoy it really much......thanks also for our tour guide Madam Madoka for introduced Japanese culture to us. >_<

I had a very good experience with the shared shuttle van from Yokohama Port to my hotel in Shinjuku.
The people manning the counter at Yokohama Port was very courteous and polite. The shuttle was on time.
The driver was very polite and smiling all the time.
Would take up your service again when I am next in Japan.
Overall the tour was a great experience for me and my family.
Our guide Taiji was very knowledgable about the places we visited and was very flexible and accomodating to our plans. He was also very engaging towards the group.
We would definitely engage him again when we tour Japan again and strongly recommend him to travellers.
The tour would of been fine if the weather was better, fickle mount Fuji was hiding under the fog of a typhoon, the boat ride was wet lol.
Overall the tour guides done the best they could with what they had, on a better day it would of been a better tour.
but considering the weather I thought it a bit lacking.
Mother Nature defeated all attempts by the enthusiastic travel team to make it a great day. Unfortunately we caught the tails winds and rain from a typhoon that went through and there is no cancellation, just changes to routing schedule, they do warn you of this possibility. Every change of plan was thrawted with more wind and rain. Tour guide tried her hardest to make a go of it and was very knowledgeable and forthcoming with interesting information and felt a tad sorry for her and the driving team who were also very pleasant. Mother Nature won out on this one, just a shame there isn’t the ability to take a rain check as our US cousins would say, the weather ended up so bad it was hard to stand up and MT Fuji itself was closed. I imagine it is a great tour in any other circumstances.
We took the bus / bullet train return (recommended during busy traffic days) to Mt Fuji. Too bad about the foggy conditions, but we got a really informative guide called Yuko & a great driver called NakanoSan. They showed us the best of Lake Ashi & Hakone as well as a delicious noodle lunch, comprised of local produce/cuisine. Level 5 of the Mt Fuji way is quite crowded in the summer & difficult to navigate, Yuko's advice was sensible & time aware. She had some fun japanese exercises & origami games to pass the time too.
Very Glad we chose this tour! Our guide Fumi San was very pleasant and informative. We loved the beautiful scenery plus it was nice to learn facts about Mt. Fuji and the Hakone area. An added bonus was the Bullet Train experience on our way back to Tokyo!
We were picked up on time by our guide Tom Harada. He was very throughout and thoughtful in planning what we should visit and made all the different sites arrangement efficiently . He is knowledgeable about the itinerary on hand . His approach is filled with dedication and heart . I would recommend to anyone looking for an English speaking guide to reserve Tom Harada. You will not be disappointed.
I hope all is well with you and your wonderful family. I want to thank you for your very kind and generous review on Veltra site. It means a lot to me ! My work on 20 August around Mt. Fuji has become a great memory thanks to your kindness and quality personality of all your family.. Thank you for giving me a fond memory. Once again, I will be wishing nothing but the very best for you and yours.
We were very fortunate that the summer weather was very good; skied were clear. From afar on the coach, we were able to see Mount Fuji in its elegance. A great guide (Joji) was passionate about the mountain, sharing her own experience when she did the ascent to the crater top. That made the emotional connection. The cable car ride was beautiful; it brought us to the sulphur “mine” that added to the volcanic heritage of Mount Fuji. The ride on the pirate ship in the lake was nice as a good conclusion to the excursion.
Perfect quick tour if looking for brief sight-seeing on time constrain. Also suitable for elderly with limited mobility as walking is minimal (location sight-seeing is self-paced). 2 drivers provided for safe-driving for comfortable long distance coach/bus trip. Tour guide, Michika was informative, engaging and clear with instructions.
A very rushed tour, maximum time spent at any location was 35 minutes which was no time at all to get something to eat or enjoy the scenery. Guide on tour was a fun lady
The trip is fun.
Our tour guide seiji-san is cheerful, has good command of english and thoughtful. He shared information on the places we went to.
I didnt get to see the peak of mt. Fuji because it was very foggy that day. Nevertheless, i enjoyed the very cold breeze.
The 4d experience of mt. Fuji was a blast.. Fun, fun, fun.
I guess the only thing that i regret is that time allotted for each activity is quite short. But it is understandable considering the time constraint we had and the traffic that day.
All in all, i enjoyed the experience. Thank you veltra, seiji san and funabashi san for driving us safely backto shinjuku.
Thank you you for joining our tour.

It was a wonderful trip. I enjoyed a lot. Very nice internatiinal group. Well organized and friendly guide.
I wish to do it again.
Great time! Just wish we had more time at Mt. Fuji and in the restaurant for lunch.
Unfortunately the clouds covered Mt Fuji whilst there but luckily they lifted during the cable car ride at Hakone. The views from the top of the cable car ride we good. The guide Hiro was good and informative.
very nice tour, wonderful tour guide, good driver, on-time.
Very happy to hear from you! We also really enjoyed eating, shopping and taking pictures a lot with you all!!! Please let us know when you come to Japan again! Many thanks... Noriko
What a great day out with the family, would highly recommend it, would be doing it again on my return.
The tour guid (Hiro) was brilliant and he had the patience of a saint (we were late for just about everything♂️), and yet he always had a smile on his face and welcomed us.
The weather was unfortunately not good. We could not see Mt. Fuji due to the fog. But the whole trip was fun. We got to see the 4D Mt. Fuji with Fuji Airways. Better than nothing. The tour guide was fun and helpful as well.
Thank you you for joining our tour.

I expected a little more elaborated tour, instead it was very poor and too FAST you couldn't enjoy all the sightseeing you supposed to see.
You had to choose - or go and see the actual spot, or go to the gift shops or toilet - becasue there is no time to do all; and this is the worst point that it should be corrected.
The guide was really nice though.
There was only short time to look around
Simulator was great
Ninja village top
Mt Fuji a „Must“

The bus tour allowed us to sit back, relax and take in the scenery. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the areas we visited and kept us on schedule. Ample time was given to peruse and shop at the different stops. Lunch was very yummy!
We are very happy we decided to take this tour.
A word of advice - if you are prone to motion sickness, please take precautions to minimize it or consider a different tour. The road up to and down Mt. Fuji has many switchbacks. Also, if you have trouble breathing take into consideration the thinner air due to the higher altitude while walking around at the Mt. Fuji stop.
This tour covered a lot for my Tokyo holiday. Mt Fuji, fantastic to both see it up close and from afar; bullet train; typical Japanese meal and great local information.
I really recommend the tour for all ages.
