ワイピオ渓谷 乗馬ツアー ＜午前・午後／英語ガイド＞ by ワイピオ・オン・ホースバック
ワイピオ渓谷をのんびりと
投稿者: わかさま, 2017/05/20現地集合、現地解散、英語のみのガイドなので、レンタカーとある程度の英語が分かることか必要です。馬の乗り方とかはゆっくり分かりやすく教えてくれるので、日常会話が聞き取れれば大丈夫かと。
今回ガイドしてくれたのは現地の女性二人。パーティーのメンバーは我々２人以外に本土から来た夫婦と家族の総勢９人で、和気あいあいとした雰囲気です。
途中自生している果物を色々と(マンゴー、パパイヤ、ノニ、アボガド、バナナなどなど)教えてくれたり、野生の馬に出会ったり、渓谷を下まで降りないと見られない滝を見に行ったりと満足のツアーでした。
車で渓谷の下に下りるツアーもありましたが、馬の方が川を遡ったり、細いところを入っていったりとより奥まで行けるのでオススメです！
今回はツアーの前後で周辺のホノカアやワイメアの町もブラブラしたかったので、こちらを選びましたが、単純に渓谷の乗馬だけを楽しみたい場合は、日本語ガイド、送迎付のツアーを選んだ方がいいと思います。

5歳の子には早かったかな

八景島シーパラダイスでもイルカとの触れ合いイベントに参加したことが有りますが、内容は比較にならない程ボリューム満点で大満足です。
触れたり、泳いでいる様子を顔を付けて見たり、ジャンプさせたり、あっという間の1時間でした。
残念なのは、5歳の孫がマスクを着けて顔を水に浸けられず、怖がってしまった事。水にもう少し鳴らしておけばよかった。

可愛いイルカと触れ合える
投稿者: yukinko, 2017/03/31１つのグループに日本人は数名、説明も全て英語で全く英語がわからない娘は最初戸惑って、完全に固まっていました。しかしイルカとのふれあいタイムが始まると、言葉の壁もなんのその、自然と笑顔がこぼれ、とっても楽しかったようです。写真も良いショットばかりでついつい沢山購入してしまいました。イルカと触れ合うなんてなかなか体験できない！のでお勧めです。

親子で楽しめました
投稿者: ひなママ, 2017/03/212歳の子どもと一緒に参加しました。子どもが興味を引くように、インストラクターの人は上手に誘導してくれました。我が子は、初めは怖がっていましたが、慣れてくると、魚をあげることもできました。イルカと触れ合う時間は、思ったより長く（その時の参加者は、私たち含めて2組だけだったという事もあるかもしれませんが）、親子二人でこの価格なら満足です。ただ、写真は高い（一枚2000円くらい）と思います。もう少し安ければ（同じ2000円くらいになったとしても）複数枚購入したかったです。

Our favorite vacation day!
投稿者: A. Durnell, 2017/03/02This was truly a magical day in Hawaii. Waipio Valley is one of those places best seen through the eyes of someone local. This is not merely a tour, but more of an invitation to visit the valley as a guest and get the grand tour from people who truly love it and want you to as well. The horses are happy, healthy, well cared for individuals with personalities and this trail ride is not the dull, narrated nose to tail variety often found in tourist areas. You won't have a "canned" speech and your horses won't be falling asleep from having done a monotonous walk they have done a million times with no hope of change. We left feeling like we really learned a lot from our hosts, who live in the valley, love and know it well, while having seen some of the most spectacular scenery on the island. The snapshot of the view from the lookout point is certainly gorgeous, but go the extra mile and take a ride into the valley to see the taro, the waterfalls, the wild horses, the freshwater streams and amazing landscape. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing adventure!

Right before dinner, they located a manta ray as well. The crew also found another whale on the ride home. Great time and very family friendly.

The most romantic and special event of a lifetime!
投稿者: Kimo Kameaalohalani , 2017/01/07So I decided to propose on this particular cruise, and I couldn't have picked a more romantic, thoughtful, and special cruise to do it. I was so incredibly nervous, but the customer service rep was extremely communicative and responsive for my specific request. John, the captain of the vessel, was so knowledgable in the marine life, that my fiance and I asked if he had majored in Marine Biology in college. He had a lot of passion for the marine life and he spent a lot of time speaking with us. Also, the wait staff was beyond courteous, they took pictures of my engagement, and they made us feel so special with their champagne toast.
I also set-up an original song to sing for my fiance, and the musician onboard actually learned my song before-hand, and played it perfectly as I sang it in front of 40 strangers! His tunes really bring that cool, Hawaiian vibe, and the MC was great with her meticulous tour and crowd work. I couldn't have asked for a better sunset, a perfect location, and the greatest staff that I have probably ever encountered. That's saying a lot as I had been a musician on several international five-star cruise lines in the past. I would HIGHLY recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a special event with incredible food.

ちょうど、日本人の通訳さんが働き始める前の体験中でした。これからこちらで働くそうなので、英語が分からない人でも通訳さんをお願いすれば大丈夫になると思います。
参加者は子供から大人までいろいろ。
アメリカ本土から親子3世代（おじいちゃん、おばあちゃんから孫まで）で、そろって参加していた方もいたので、年齢問わず楽しめると思います。
最初のジップが、初めてで慣れないうえに高さがあってちょっと怖かったですが、後は楽しめました。
私は高いところがそんなに得意ではないですが、大丈夫でした。
時期的に雨が降って肌寒い日が続いていて、海のレジャーは全然ダメだったのですが、そんなときの山のレジャーとしてやってみたら、とても楽しかったです。

The scenery is fabulous and the guides have a huge and amazing knowledge of the valley, its inhabitants whether human or animal, as well as the plentiful edible plant life. They really made the trek perfect. Highly recommend whether a first timer or an experienced rider, you will not regret it.

Beautiful cruising along the coast.

The good was fresh and very good.the pineapple dip was excellent and of course the sweet potatoes . The music was outstanding.
The man who pLayed and sang was really good. Beautiful voice.So as we cruised we enjoyed his singing. We would have bought a CD of his music but he said he said he hoped to have or ready before Chtidtmss

コミュニケーションがとれる程度の英語力がないと、お子さんは所在無いと思います。
ただ、最後のイルカ撮影時にチェンジした女性教官は日本語の指示が出せる方でした。
（スタッフの方々とざっくりお話した感じでは、この方だけが日本語が少し話せるようでした）
息子（充分な英語力有）はラグーンで泳げたし海の生き物も教えてもらえたのでとーっても楽しかった！と言っています。
英語が理解できれば、内容盛り沢山で価格に見合ったプログラムだと思いました。
私も子供の写真撮りまくりで大満足です。
以下、内容です。
小屋で円陣を組んで座り自己紹介。自分の名前と好きな動物について発表。
12種類の海洋生物が描かれたボードが配られ、解説してくれる。
↓
それらを見にラグーンへ移動。棒状のフロートに３，４人がつかまり、先生に引っ張られながらラグーンで観察（ライフジャケット装着）
↓
小屋に帰り、室内で小さな海洋生物を観察、触る。
↓
イルカプールの隅に移動。イルカプールに生息する魚が描かれたボードが配られ、それらを観察（まだプールには入らない）
↓
いよいよイルカプールに入りイルカとご対面。基本一人ずつ触り、その都度撮影。
（一人が触ってる時は他の子は触らないように指示されていたそうです）
プログラム終了後はイルカプールサイドの売店で写真が購入できます。
3枚で＄50程度、1枚から購入できたと思います（3枚が一番お得な価格設定）

We also got to see a pod of dolphins (I would say at least 20 jumping out of the water) along the way. Can't recommend this activity enough!!!

ちょっとお高いです
投稿者: Hitomi, 2016/08/06ちょっと内容を勘違いして申し込んでいたようです。いるかと一緒にいられる時間が長いのかと思っていましたがそうではなく、まずホテル内のラグーンでシュノーケリングをして、その後がドルフィンクエストでした。この値段ならドルフィンクエストだけのものにすればよかったかなとちょっと後悔。シュノーケリング自体はつまらないわけではありませんでしたが、やっぱりお値段が問題ですね。こどもは英語がわからないのでガイドさんの指示がわからず困っていました。ガイドさんもあまり楽しい感じの人ではなかったので、当たり外れの問題もあるのかもしれません。

Be aware!
投稿者: Disappointed, 2016/07/21Due to traffic (not indicated by Google Maps) we were running late. I called the boat office and they would not hold the boat for me for 7 minutes, as that is all we needed after the traffic picked up to get to the pier. Extremely disappointed! It was our last night in Hawaii so we couldn't make it up. $450 in the air. Hopefully Veltra will understand and issue a refund.
