We understood the Web page to be offering a demonstration of the Sado (tea ceremony) by Maiko. This was not to be. What we dis see was a superb performance of Maiko dances and period orchestra with voices performing a tribute to Japan's new era just commenced the week we were in Kyoto. Awesome talent and display of Maiko skills in song, dance and artistry of the animated gesture. The 182nd annual performance by this group. A mempry to treasure.

maiko don't speak English however the staff translate everything. maiko is so close and it's perfect experience about Kyoto.

全体的に良い体験でしたが、特にショーに関しては良かったです。
写真撮影と茶道は観光客向けのジョークのようで、残念でした。
劇場と芸者の舞踏のチケットのみを購入することをお勧めします。

素晴らしい体験でした！多くの人が私を見ていました！
ただ、もう少し良いカスタマーサービスが提供されると感じました。メイク落としや衣装の着用が混乱を招くことがあるからです。そして、ほとんどの場合、何が起こっているのかわからずに放置されてしまいます。この体験に興味がある方は、顔をペイントするパッケージを選ぶと良いでしょう。体験がまったく異なり、旅行がより価値あるものになります。
もう一つ注意すべきことは、メイクを落とすプロセスがかなり長いということです。イベントが終わった後、夫や友人が女性が着替えを終えるのを待っている場合は、忍耐強く待ってください。女性が着替えを終えるまでに45〜60分かかることを覚悟しておいてください。

Cool experience! Many people look at me!
Although i feel better customer service can be provided, because the makeup remover and wearing of the interior clothes can be confusing. And most times left alone not knowing what is going on. For people interested in this, it is good to choose the package to paint your face, because the experience is completely different and it make your trip more worth it.
Another thing to take not, the removing of makeup process is pretty long. When the whole event is over, husband, man or friends waiting for woman to finish changing, please be patient, prepare for 45-60mins for the women to be done changing off

場所を見つけるのに問題はなく、ヴェルトラのバウチャーを持ってブースでチケットを購入しました。私は茶道なしの特別席を購入しました。

その後、茶道が行われるホールに案内されました。列に並んでいるときはそれだとは知らなかったです。お茶が出されると、私がそれを購入していないことに気づき、別のチケットを購入するように言われました（実際にはオプトアウトするつもりでした）。茶道の間、プロセスについての説明はありませんでした。

その後、パフォーマンスホールに入るのを待つ間、部屋に入りました。特別席を購入したにもかかわらず、ホールのほぼ最後列に座ることになりました。日本語のサインを持ったスタッフが周りを歩いていて、後でそれが翻訳機を貸し出していることだと分かりました。そのスタッフは周りを歩きながら英語で何も言わず、英語のサインも全くありませんでした。

パフォーマンスは2つのセクションに分かれていました。最初はドラマのようで、翻訳なしではショーを楽しむのが難しかったです。2つ目のセクションはダンスに関するもので、とても美しかったです。

スタッフは全体を通して英語での会話をもっと増やすべきです。多くの外国人観光客が茶道からパフォーマンスへの道に迷っていました。

There was no issue in finding the location and to get the ticket at the booth with the voucher from Veltra. I purchased Special Seat without the tea ceremony.

Thereafter, we were ushered into a hall where the tea ceremony was held. I did not know it was that when I was in the queue. When they serve tea, they realized that I didnt purchase with it and they asked me to purchase a separate ticket for it (though it was in my intention to opt out). There was no briefing during the tea ceremony as to what was supposed to happen in the process.

After that we went into a room while waiting to enter the performance hall. Although I bought a special seat unfortunately I was given the second last row of the hall. There were staff walking around with signs in Japanese which I figured later they were renting out translator machines. The group of staff while walking around with those did not mention anything in English nor were there any signs in English whatsoever.

The performance was split into 2 sections. The first was like a drama and it was difficult to enjoy the show without translation. The srcond brief was more on dance and it wad quite beautiful.

Staff could be more conversational in English throughout. A lot of foreign tourists were lost in their way from the tea ceremony to the performance as well.

芸妓様の富津愈様舞妓の方仕込の方女将様の心尽くしの御対応に心から御礼申し上げます。有難うございました。鮮明な青のお着物の富津愈様の美しさに魅了されました。御立姿に精進される芸の深さが偲ばれます。「白粉はお顔の輪郭が際立つ」裏千家お作法見事なお抹茶美味しうございました。またお世話になりとう存じます。有難うございました。

日本文化に深く触れる体験でした。芸者（彼女たちは「ゲイコ」と呼んでいます）が私たちのために踊り、その後抹茶を作ってくれました（とても美味しかったですし、日本の甘味も出してくれました）。お茶の後、ゲイコは私たちといろいろなことについて話してくれました（私たちがどこから来たのか、日本で訪れた場所など）。全体の儀式は40〜50分続きます。少し早めに到着することをお勧めします。茶室はそれほど簡単に見つけられません。この体験を絶対にお勧めします。リアルな日本の世界に触れることができ、本物の芸者と話し、彼女のライフスタイルや教育について知ることができます。

It was a deep dive into Japanese culture. A Gheisha (but they call theirself “Geiko”) danced for us and then made matcha tea for us (it was very good, and they also served us some Japanese sweets). After the tea, the geiko has talked with us about many things (where we came from, what we’ve visited in japan and so on). The whole cerimony lasts 40/50 minute.
I suggest to arrive a few minutes before, because the tea House is non so simple to find. I absolutely recommend this experience because it takes you into the real Japanese world, and you have the opportunity to talk to a real gheisha and know her lifestyle, her education, etc.

これは本当に素晴らしい体験で、私たち全員が忘れられないものになるでしょう！京都を訪れる人には誰にでもお勧めします。

舞妓さんとの貴重な日本文化体験を、お座敷遊び、夕食、撮影と全て一度に楽しめる素敵なプランです。
外国のお客様にも大変好評でした。

夕食は、イマイチでした。夜景も雨で靄がでて、全然見えなかったです。ただ、かわいい舞妓さんを近くでみれて良かったです。

出張時にこのツアーに1人で参加しました。男女とも夫婦や家族多かったですが、男女ともに一人の方も4名程居ました。踊りは2曲ですが非常に近くで見る事が出来てよかったです。皆さん舞妓さんのファンになったと思います。食事も美味しくてコスパ良いと感じました。御飯がお替り出来たらよいと思いました。ちなみにドリンクは別料金です。

ガイドブックで観光客向けの茶道は本物のゲイコと行われないことが多いと読んでいたので、期待はあまり高くありませんでしたが、この体験は素晴らしかったです。茶室は控えめですが、私たち3人の大人のグループは春の舞、茶道、そしてゲイコと30分間おしゃべりすることができました（彼女は素晴らしい英語を話しました）。非常におすすめです。

We had quite low expectations after reading in guide books that tourist tea ceremonies usually aren’t held with real Geiko, however this experience was fantastic. The tea room is rather unassuming but our party of 3 adults had the pleasure of a Spring Dance, tea ceremony and 30 minutes chatting to the Geiko (who spoke excellent English). We would highly recommend

私たちは本物の芸者文化を体験しました。芸者と舞妓に会い、彼女たちの文化やライフスタイルについて話をすることができ、写真も撮りました。踊りのパフォーマンスは素晴らしく、茶道も魅力的でした。家元はとても親切でした。彼女はいつも急いでいるように見えましたが、とても優しく、私たちと芸者との会話を翻訳してくれ、彼女たちの生活について簡単に教えてくれました。全体的に、思い出に残る体験で、少し急いでいるように感じたにもかかわらず、私たちはとても楽しみました。

We got a real taste of the geisha culture. We got to meet a geisha and a maiko.
We got to talk to them about their culture and lifestyle and also got pictures.
The dance performance was lovely, and the tea ceremony was fascinating. The house mother was very accommodating. Although she always seemed in a rush, a hurry.. she was very sweet and even translated conversations between us and the geisha and gave us a brief insight into their lives.
Overall, it was a memorable experience, we thoroughly enjoyed it even though it seemed a bit rushed.

ウメヒナという舞妓に会うことができました。彼女は本当に優しく、率直で、言葉の壁にもかかわらず、一生懸命に会話をしようとし、私たちの言っていることを理解し、質問に答えてくれました。彼女は驚くほど美しく、息をのむほどです。私たちはゲームをしたり、笑ったりして、素晴らしい夜を体験しました。非常に非常におすすめです。

We got to meat a Maiko named UmeHina. She was truly nice and candid, despite the language barrier she tried hard to make conversation and to understand what we were saying and answer our questions. She's amazingly beautiful, breathtakingly. We played dames, laughed and experienced an incredible night. Highly, highly recommended

Our family really enjoyed the entire experience and was fortunate to be able to talk to Tomichie directly and exchange experiences about each other's lives. I highly recommend this - they are also very accommodating to my children (age 1 and 4).

79歳のおじいちゃんから、10歳の娘を含む5人で参加しましたが、全員また来たいと言っていました。写真もたくさん撮ってもらったし、お話しも出来たし、ゲームもやりました。踊りを見ている時はとても贅沢な時間だなと、しみじみ感じました。これだけ体験できてのお値段にしては安く感じました。大満足です‼︎

このスタジオを選んだのは、価格が適正で質が高く、レビューが良かったからで、選んで正解でした！妻が芸者の衣装を着ている間、私もその体験に参加し、侍プランを選びました。更衣室に向かう途中には、非常にユニークな見た目のアヒルと、印象的な鯉がたくさんいる小さな屋外エリアがあり、本当に美しくてリラックスできました。到着すると、部屋は非常に清潔で、衣装の素材も明らかに高品質でした。撮影室に入ると、刀を渡されて、適切な重さがあることに安心しました。安っぽい偽物の刀ではなく、質の高い材料で作られていることが分かりました。

これを試してみたい方には、素晴らしい写真を撮るために散策や屋外オプションを選ぶことをお勧めします。また、タイミングも重要です！背景に人が少ない状態で自由に散策しながら写真を撮りたい場合は、最も早い予約を取ることをお勧めします（私たちもそうしました）。しかし、当時の賑やかな街の雰囲気を楽しみたい場合は、午後の撮影が他の人々で賑わっていて良いでしょう！

I decided on this studio based on their fair price, high quality, and positive reviews, and I'm glad I did! While my wife was getting dressed as a Geisha, I decided I'd take part in the experience with her and do the Samurai plan. On the way to the dressing room there was a small outdoor area with a very unique looking duck and a good number of impressive looking koi - truly beautiful and relaxing. Upon arrival, the room was very well kept and the material of the clothes were obviously quite high. When we got to the shooting room and they handed me the katana, I was relieved to discover it had proper weight and they did not save on expense with a cheap, fake sword of weak material and poor quality.

For those wanting to try this out, I'd definitely recommend opting into the stroll/outdoor options for some truly fantastic pictures. Also important is timing! If you want to have pictures on your free stroll time with few to no people in the background, go at the earliest appointment available (that's what we preferred), however, if you'd like it to look like a bustling city in that era, an afternoon shoot will have a good crowd of other people from various shops who are also dressing up!

京料理は美味しくいただき、その後の舞妓さんの踊りを鑑賞し、写真撮影も許す限り、要望に応えてたくさん楽しめました。
また、夜の夜景ドライブも初めての体験でよかったです。

舞妓さんは綺麗でしたし、お料理も美味しかったのです。

ただ、ご年配の参加者が舞妓さんの舞と一緒に歌い出したり、写ルンですのシャッター音やカチカチと巻く音、カメラの使い方が分からずに「あれあれ、これどうするの？」と話し出す声が非常に気になりました。

その人達だけのお座敷であれば一緒歌って楽しんでほしいですが、素人がただ気持ちよく歌っているのを見るのにお金を払いたくはないです。

ああいった方達がいるならば、今後利用は控えたいと思います。

本物の体験ができて素晴らしかったです。茶屋の母も芸妓さんも優雅で親切な環境でした。彼女たちは本当に芸者の芸術に専念しており、人々にそのことを教えることに力を入れています。

私たちは多くのことを学び、富菊茶屋での時間を楽しみました。

ぜひお勧めします。これは私たちの旅行のハイライトの一つです！

It was wonderful to have this authentic experience. Great environment both the teahouse mother and the geiko-san were gracious and accommodating. They're truly dedicated to the geisha art and educating people about.

We learned so much and enjoyed our time at the Tomikiku tea house.

舞妓さんの初々しさが大変好印象であった。京料理のかぼちゃは西洋かぼちゃで伝統野菜のかぼちゃではないように感じたが、どうなんでしょうか？私ん口がおかしいのかな。

発車から３０分、添乗員さんの案内で車中からプチ観光をしながら食事と舞妓はんの会場に向かう。
お食事はテーブル席で、畳のステージが前方にあり靴を脱いで上がる必要はありませんでした。
テーブル席については良かったという感想と、お座敷を想像していて趣が足りないと感想がわかれました。
総人数が少なめだったので真近で舞妓はんとの写真撮影・質問ともゆっくりと楽しめて幸運でした。ー
貴重な体験ができ本当に良かったです。
食事の内容はまあまあ、お味は美味しかったです。

10年程前、某大手旅行会社J〇Bのオプショナルツアーで一度体験しましたがお座敷遊びは子供も楽しめるゲーム。今回同伴した友人がお座敷遊びがしたいと言う事で舞、抹茶、お座敷遊び、撮影がセットになった60分があっという間でした。貴重な体験とはこう言う事を言うのではないでしょうか？富菊の富津愈さん、有り難うございました。

友人と二人で祇園東のお茶屋「富菊」さんへ。友人は、お茶屋さんへ行くのが初めてで、事前に、ユーチューブでお座敷遊びの予習をするなど、楽しみにしたはりましたが、実際にお茶屋さんに行ってみて、想像をはるかに超えるたのしさだったと言って、大層喜んだはりました。お茶屋さんで受けた接待も、舞妓さんの舞いも、お遊びも、普段は経験できませんからね。出していただいたお料理も、つまみ程度のものではなく、十分過ぎるものでしたし、お酒もかなりいただいてしまい、「富菊」さんには大変感謝しています。

３連休の初日に参加。バスが３台出るほどの大盛況でした。
最初は「しょうざんってどこ？」と思っていましたが、行ってみるとおいしい料理と舞妓さん、きれいな庭園に大満足！いい意味で裏切られました。
また機会があれば行きたいと思えるツアーでした。

お座敷舞妓さんランチで本物の舞妓さんの舞も2度も見れ更には質疑応答もありで楽しい時間を過ごせました。
