How long does it take to climb Mt. Fuji?
Climbing tours take two days on the Yoshida Trail. The schedule is designed so that climbers get to see the sunrise at the summit of the mountain.
Where can I buy Mt. Fuji walking sticks?
The walking sticks are available for sale at the 5th Station, the entry point to climbing the mountain. You get a stamp for each station you reach. A stamping area is available at each station.
What clothes should I wear when climbing Mt. Fuji?
Warm clothing and rain wear. The temperature drops as the altitude gets higher. Mountain weather is also unpredictable, which is why rain wear is important. Good hiking shoes are a must. All these can be rented when upon booking.
Should I bring snacks?
Bringing your own snacks is recommended. While food and drinks are available at certain stops in the mountain, the prices get higher with the altitude.
Can beginners climb Mt. Fuji?
Yes. The tours are conducted at a pace suitable for beginners.
