Built in 940, Narita Shinshoji Temple is known for its strong ties with kabuki. Every year, kabuki actors would journey to the temple to pay their respects.
Take your time to explore one of the largest temples of Japan and enjoy the historic atmosphere.
After visiting the temple, take lunch to fuel up for the afternoon. Unagi (eel) is a specialty of the area that is a must-try!
