I booked this snorkeling tour for our group of 21 months in advance. A couple days before our trip a representative of Hawaii Activities contacted me to let me know the time we booked was no longer an option offered by the company. They rebooked us with a different company for the same day, at an earlier time, without drinks :(, for the same price even though the Moana company charged more than the one we originally booked. I appreciate this so much because as we were boarding, we saw a disappointed family at another dock who had their trip canceled with not even a notification. The boat just never showed up and when they called the company they were told they had to cancel due to COVID. Things happen but a notice would have been nice. Luckily for us Hawaiian Activities/Veltra not only notified us, but made alternative arrangements for us. I would definitely use this company for bookings in the future.

This was an amazing experience for our girls trip. If you are looking for fun activities that are self guided this is the tour for you. We did the snorkeling and paddle boarding both were extremely fun and we had plenty of time to do both. The price was great and included everything we needed. We got to see 2/3 of Oahu, which was beautiful. Our tour guide was Sam he was helpful and funny. Would recommend this tour/activity day to anyone!!

Great experience from start to finish. Our boat captain and photographer were awesome. We recommend purchasing the photo package (Sim Card) provided at the end of the trip. A word of caution: DO NOT BE LATE. Allow ample time to get to the marina and fill out waiver forms (30 minutes prior to your departure time). The boat will leave you behind if you are not there on time.

This was by far my favorite activity of the trip! Loved swimming cageless with the sharks and the pictures they gave us were amazing! Exciting and spiritual at the same time. Would love to do it again….

ホロカイカタマランとのシュノーケリングツアーを本当に楽しみました。クルーはとても気配りがあり、面白くてフレンドリーでした。水中でウミガメを見ることができるように配慮してくれ、クルーズ中は私たちが大丈夫か、何か手助けが必要かを定期的に尋ねてくれました。彼らの注意事項はとても温かく丁寧で、押し付けがましくもなく、特に子供たちには嬉しいものでした。

シュノーケリング自体は少し残念でしたが、ホロカイのせいではありません。たまたまとても混雑する時期に行ったため、同じ場所で他のツアーボートがいくつもシュノーケリングをしていて、水中が混雑していました。他のシュノーケラーを避けながら泳ぐのは少しストレスでしたが、ホロカイのクルーは私たちと一緒に水中にいて、ウミガメや魚を見るために最善を尽くしてくれました。

シュノーケリングの後、クルーは私たちをボートから飛び込ませて自由に泳がせてくれました。その後、帆を上げてダイヤモンドヘッドを超えて楽しいクルーズに連れて行ってくれました。これは間違いなく子供たちのお気に入りの部分でした。

We really enjoyed our snorkeling trip with Holokai Catamaran. The crew was very attentive, funny and friendly. They made a point to make sure we saw turtles while we were in the water, and they periodically asked if we were doing ok or needed help with anything throughout the cruise. Any cautionary instructions that they gave us were very warm and polite, not bossy or curt which was especially nice for the kids on our trip.

The snorkeling itself was a little disappointing, but it had nothing to do with Holokai. We just happened to go at a time of year that was really busy. There were several other tour boats snorkeling in the same spot, so the water was crowded. It was a little stressful navigating around other snorkelers and trying to avoid getting a flipper in your face. But again the Holokai crew was in the water with us doing their best to make sure we were seeing turtles and fish.

After snorkeling, the crew let us jump off the boat and swim freely in the water. After that they put up the sails and took us for a super fun ride out past Diamond Head. That was definitely our kids’ favorite part of the experience.

Thank you to Holokai for making the this excursion fun and exciting for our families.

私と夫はこの体験を本当に楽しみました。最初は波やボートに対するケージに慣れるのが少し大変でしたが、一度少し離されるとずっと楽になります。ケージの中ではたくさんのサメや他の動物を見ることができました。これをやって本当に良かったです。

Both my husband and I really enjoyed this experience. It was a little rough in the beginning getting used to the waves and the cage up against the boat but once they release you a little it gets a lot easier. There were plenty of sharks and some other animals to check out while inside the cage. Definitely glad we did this.

今まで参加した中で最悪のシュノーケルツアーでした。私の夫は魚を一匹も見ませんでした。子供たちと私は二種類の魚を見ました。黒い魚と縞模様の魚で、それぞれ二匹ずつでした。水が濁っていてあまり見えません。水が澄んでいても、実際には見るものがあまりないと思います。サンゴ礁も見当たりません。5隻の異なるボートから多くの観光客が同じ場所に降ろされるため、常に人が互いに邪魔をしています。最初にボートから見た亀以外は一度も見ませんでした。最高だったのはクルーとシュノーケルの後のセーリングです。クルーは素晴らしかったです。ブランドンはとても面白かったです。ライアンとマイクも良い人たちでした。皆一生懸命働いています。水中で見るものが少なかったのかもしれませんが、もう一度は参加したくありません。彼らとのサンセットセーリングは素晴らしいと思います。セーリングが一番の部分で、クルーも素晴らしいです。しかし、シュノーケリング中にたくさんの魚や亀を見たいと思っているなら、ここでは期待しない方がいいです。返金してもらえたらいいのに。

The worst snorkel tour I’ve ever been on as far as what a person was able to see under the water. My husband didn’t see a single fish. The kids and I saw two species. A black fish and a striped fish..literally two fish of each kind. Water is too cloudy to see much. I don’t believe there is really much to see even if the water were clear. No reef in sight. Way too many tourists from about 5 different boats all dropped off to snorkel at the same spot so people are constantly getting in each other’s way. I never saw a turtle except the one from the boat when we first pulled up. BEST part was the crew and the sail after the snorkel. The crew was wonderful. Brandon was super funny. Ryan and Mike both nice guys. They all work hard. Maybe it was just a poor day at sea for seeing much in the water, but I wouldn’t do it again. A sunset sail with them would be great since the sailing was the best part and the crew is awesome. But if you’re hoping to see a lot of fish and turtles while snorkeling, don’t expect it here. Wish I could get a refund.

We had an awesome time parasailing. Aside from the grumpy front desk lady, we had an awesome time with the other staff members who helped us during our parasailing adventure!

We had a fantastic experience - I can't believe in retrospect that we were considering doing this in a cage. The team makes you feel at ease and safe, the crowd wasn't too large, and the boat more than adequate. I especially love that they take free photos in the water for you! Great experience!

The crew was amazing but we did not see a single fish. The water was not clear, I could not even see people next to me. It was just swimming tour. That’s all. If you want to see snorkeling and see fishes, I suggest do either submarine or go the north shore to Shark’s Cove.

I paid 93 for the snorkeling thinking it be something to remember.. but the only thing I’ll remember it the waist of money it was my whole family paid and it was a waist. Its a free for all you get trampled and just sucks in all honesty the people are nice and we meet some nice people on the boat but they sell you this amazing experience and its not, you cant see anything at all, if you want to paddle board or go down the slide even kayak this is the place for you but don't do it for the snorkeling it be a waist of money like it was for us … hope this helps another person not make the same mistake we did . Parasailing was amazing! We were a party of 8 including my 7 year old grandson. The experience was perfect for our family and our captain adjusted the ride appropriately for each group of our riders (some were gently dipped and others had a more thrilling experience). It was obvious our captain and crew knew what they were experienced. I recommend getting the pictures. We would definitely do again

*COVID Update*

This was one of the top highlights of my group's trip to Oahu. All of us had never been in a shark cage before, let alone see a 12-foot shark in the same water!! I recommend going with North Shore Shark Adventures because the guys are so friendly. Bring cash for tip!

I made online reservations through VELTRA. The time and date I chose online was apparently not available, but they notified me promptly after I booked. They were able to offer another time that worked for my group. I recommend booking for early morning tours because the water is more calm. Sea sickness is not fun, and one person in my group had a terrible experience with it. I felt bad for him.

Our boat had 14 people plus the captain and a deck hand guy. They split the 14 people into 2 groups to go in the shark cage. The shark cage fit my group of 8. We had our snorkel gear, GoPro, and underwater phone cases ready! I recommend bringing towels because it gets cold on the boat ride back to shore. I felt like we were in the cage for a while. It was plenty of time to get to the bottom of the cage, take videos, and see the sharks.

Logistics: meet at Haleiwa Harbor. Parking is free by the restroom. I didn't see any showers there, and there's also no doors in the restroom stalls. Wear shoes that are easy to remove. You won't be wearing them on the boat. I didn't have to bring my reservation or show anyone anything; just told them the name on our reservation.

Despite every communication showing “ Activity: Day on the Bay Combo - Parasail, Jet Ski, Banana Boat, or Bumper Tube” the actual voucher eliminated jet skiing.

When we checked in I was informed that my event didn’t include jet skiing, I objected, pulled out my voucher and sure enough that wording was omitted.

Well we ended up tubing, riding on a banana boat, and parasailing over Manaulua bay which was absolutely incredible. The water is gorgeous, and the surrounding homes simply beautiful.

Tubing is awesome; you’re holding on for dear life and it was such a blessing to share the thrill of the banana boat with my family.

At the end they’ll offer you incredible, up close, real-time pictures captured during each event so bring an extra $200.

I would definitely recommend this activity pack.

This was an incredible experience. Our guide Steven did a fabulous job and gave my wife and daughters the confidence to give snorkeling a real try. I would definitely recommend this again, and then take that experience and go to a better snorkeling location. Great way to try it out and make sure you able and ready before making the expensive snorkeling investment!

It says turtle in the title of what this excursion is. It says snorkeling in the title as well. All this was about was taking a bunch of water toys in the middle of the ocean and playing on them. While we were out there, I asked if we were going somewhere else to see the turtles and was told this is nature. Sometimes you see them , sometimes you won’t. Again, this was not about seeing sea turtles and the title needs to be changed. We paid $150 person to jump off side of boat, jump on trampoline, kayak/paddle board and TRY to snorkel in the middle of all this chaos. Tell it like it is and don’t be devious in the title. The crew was the only reason we have 3 stars and tipped on top of what we already paid. They were very nice. But this isn’t what it says it is. Don’t be fooled.

The trip was amazing. Boat crew was friendly and made the trip special for everyone. Being in the water cage free and being able to see the magnificent Galapagos sharks silently glide in and out of view was an experience I will remember for a life time. I will do this again next time I’m in on island.
