海亀見れました！

まずは養殖池を小さな船で渡り、映画のロケ地で使われた場所をいくつか見学しました。
その後砂浜に渡り、グラスボートに乗り換えて、沖の方へ船で向かいました。
クアロアランチをはじめとする雄大な山々を海から見れます！ポストカードにある写真のような絶景でした！
チャイナマンズハットも近くまでいくのでよく見えます。
海の色も浅いところと深いところで変わってきれいでした。
沖の方で少しとまって、ガイドさんが海亀を探してくれます。
今回は息継ぎをする海亀が4回見れて、そのうちの1匹は船の間近で、すごく大きかったです。
ガイドさんも亀が見当たらないときは、あっちを見てた方がいいよ！や、あそこに亀の形に見える島があるよ〜など楽しくおしゃべりしてくれました。
写真を撮ってくれたりなど、サービス精神旺盛でした！
注意点としては、沖に出る船に乗り換える際に砂浜に船がとまっているので桟橋などなく、波が引いたタイミングに乗り込まないと靴が濡れます。
私はスニーカーで行きましたが、タイミングよく乗り降りできたので大丈夫でしたが、砂浜を歩いたりするので汚したくない靴などで行くのはおすすめしません。

Aloha! Do not hesitate to book this excursion! Everything about this experience exceeded my expectations. The staff were all so gracious and professional. Pack plenty of water and snacks. We took our waterproof , bluetooth speaker as well. Be prepared to paddle , take breaks when needed . Be aware of jellyfish as well. Maybe wear long sleeves, and leggings just to be cautious. Mahalo

ウミガメにも会えました

小雨がパラパラとしていて心配しましたが、カネオヘ湾へ出ていくと晴れてきて、爽快なクルーズでした。途中で急にアップダウンが激しい状況になりましたが、ちょっとした演出のようでした。山側には大きな雲が垂れ込んでいて、クアロアランチ全景を眺めることが出来なかったのが唯一残念です。

カヤックにぴったりな素晴らしい日で、雲と風のバランスがちょうど良かったです。次回は小さな島の一つに行き、砂州をチェックしてみたいです。

山側は曇っていて天候が心配でしたが、海は晴れて良かったです。
集合場所は「Ocean Voyage」の看板がある建物で行われ、スタッフにチケットを渡して受付を済ませ、記念撮影をしてからバスに乗ります。記念撮影は撮影スタッフが行い、ツアー終了後に写真が提示され、気に入ったら購入するシステムです。そのため、撮影を拒む事はできず、バスに乗れません。
バスの運転手の他にガイドがジョークと音楽を交えて英語で説明します。
モリイ池を渡る渡し船とカネオヘ湾をクルーズする双胴船に乗ります。
沖合に出ると波が大きくなり、船は上下に揺れます。船の前は場合によっては波をかぶって濡れるので注意が必要ですが、楽しいです。
帰りに船のエンジンを止めるとウミガメが寄ってきます。
私は4回も大きなカメに遭遇できてラッキーでした。

過去に1日で複数のアクティビティを楽しむパッケージツアーに参加したのですが、私達はこのオーシャンボヤージが1番楽しかったので、行くならこれだ！と決めておりました。カネオヘ湾の沖まで風と波しぶきを受けながら進むのはとても気持ちが良く、他ではなかなか経験できないと思います。乗馬やラプターツアーも良いのですがやはりこれが1番です! 途中インストラクターの方が乗船する迄の間も植物や果物の説明をしてくださったり、乗船してからもいろいろなパターンで写真を沢山撮って下さいます。とてもオススメです。

If you're looking for an experience where you can enjoy the waters of Oahu, have a chance to swim with Hawaiian green sea turtles, and want to take in the breathtaking views of the island then this is the tour to take. The staff is very friendly, and they'll give you tips on where to go.
Take the staff's recommendation to rent an anchor ($5) and a dry bag ($5). That way you can ensure your kayak will stay put and your things stay dry
The 4 hour trip was plenty to explore both major coral reef spots. The sandbar was recommended if you're looking to relax.

The staff is super friendly and helpful when checking in. They give you all the necessary info and tips to ensure your time is well spent. All the equipment was in good condition. Definitely recommend self-guided tour if you are able since it is much more affordable than a guided tour. Thank you!

カネオエ湾(サンドバーのあたり)で散骨ツアーをしたので、7回忌に再度散骨したカネオエ湾へ行きたいと思い今回のツアーを選びました。しかしカネオエ湾クルーズと書いてありましたが私が行きたかったサンドバーあたりのカネオエ湾ではなく全然サンドバーからは遠い場所をクルーズするツアーでした。
クアロアランチからわりとすぐの海をクルーズするツアーでした。
クルーズ自体は船も大きく亀もたくさんみれて良かったですがツアー名は変えたほうがいいと思いました。

Absolutely give it a go, had an amazing time. Compared to the outrageously expensive chartered cruises you can take to the sand bar this is by far the best way to do it. Just paddle out and take everything at your own pace. We ended up floating around with several turtles whilst on the sand bar and had an amazing four hours. Definitely the way to do it if you can handle the 40-minute paddle out there.

Kayaking out to the sandbar was one of my absolute favorite things I have done on Oahu! It wasn't too far to paddle, you get plenty of time out on the sandbar, the instructions and checkin/checkout was easy - something I will certainly do again!

My husband and I went for our honeymoon and we loved it. It's a really nice location for kayaking and snorkling! I love that it's self giuded and easy to understand. The staff were also the nicest☺️

Let me start by saying this is a must do when visiting o’ahu. The views from the sandbar are incredible. I’m 4’10” and I think the water at the sandbar come up to my waistline. It took us about 40 minutes to paddle out to it because I’m not the most athletic. Lol
The kayak tour did include a life jacket. We rented a dry bag and an anchor for $5. And anchor is a must if you want to hang out at the sandbar or snorkel at one of the reefs.
Speaking of reefs, what an experience! I saw plenty of beautiful fish and turtles. “Park” your kayak on the sandy area and do not step on the coral. They are very sensitive. If you park up by the corals, you’ll see plenty of fish and turtles popping in and out.
The staff was friendly and informative. They gave us the best route to be able to go to the sandbar and the reefs. We followed instructions and did exactly as we were told as everyone should.
You’ll have a great time if you follow the rules and respect the ocean and its animals!

Kayaking to the sandbar was a great experience. I enjoyed the scenery from the sandbar. The workers were excellent with advice to practice my snorkeling skills while in the sandbar. This helped me to be more comfortable with snorkeling for the very first time. The workers were so helpful with helping me find my iPhone, which was recovered by other kayakers at the sandbar. Great overall experience!

always wanted to paddle out to the sandbar, but unfortunately picked the gale force wind day of the week to try it. On arrival seeing the white caps and some amateur kayakers struggling to paddle 10ft in the wind, basically paddling in place, I knew that this was going to be a rough adventure. Talking to the young staff girl, she stated that we could get a refund for the inclimate weather and typed it into the notes to the booker veltra. I said absolutely and we'll save this adventure for a different day. Thankyou state park girl, and because of that I would book this again.

A little difficult to navigate and see things. You’re on your own, so you’ll really need to be cognizant of the area and where to anchor down. Sand bar was a bit out, but was a great experience. LOVED kayaking in the ocean instead of chartering a boat/catamaran out to the sandbar. Spent most of our time on the largest, and should of rowed over to where a guide had nicely dropped a pin for us, but due to time stopped at a closer one, and still got to see A LOT of different fish, SO COOL! and sea life while snorkeling, but no turtles. Great snorkel gear, no fins, but didn't need them. A waterproof cell case is advisable, a hardcase one altho more expensive would of been better, as the water's current pushed against the soft plastic and turned off the video while shooting. Another tip, I'm glad I got water sandals that strapped on, to walk on the sandbar. The water was warm and so clear, and the view of the Koolau Mountains are majestic.

Kamaaina Kayak and Snorkel Eco-Venture IS THE ONE TO BOOK not only is He'eia State Park right at the bay's edge, where the crew helps you launch right into the water. Renting is a bargain and not-for-profit, proceeds help to fund the park, which is managed by Kama'aina Kids, a local childcare org that serves as stewards to the park.

We enjoyed the activity. We went to the sandbar during high tide, so the water was up to our knees, just slightly under our hips. The difficulty is easy, especially when it's self-guided. The corals are beautiful when snorkeling! The waterproof maps helps a lot, and obtaining the rentals were a breeze. They provided snorkels, dry bags, maps, flippers, life jackets, and the kayaks. Overall, I would recommend! Bring some snacks, because the four hour rental was exhausting. Just be sure to clean up after yourselves and do not litter!
