Krichelle took us out on the hike in Hana rainforest and it was amazing. She knew a lot about the farm and picked us a lot of fruit n avocados. The hike was amazing as I love running they the woods. She took us thru done private hike areas that you won't be able to go thru without a guide. Make sure to bring sunscreen n insect repellent!!
There were 4 falls that we visited n the swim in the falls were amazing. There was also one that we could jump into.
For those that are not as active, there are easier routes that krichelle instructed others to pass thru . All in all amazing experience and I would go it again,

海外では後になって森の印象が残るので、ハワイでも行ってみたくて一人参加しました。ほかの日本語版ツアーは時間が合わず、英語版のこちらに一人参加になりました。長靴を全員に貸してくれました。何インチといわれ8と答えジャスト（私は24cm）すこし大きめでいいみたい。交換もききました。ぬかるみもあったけど、火山の硬い岩のうえの渓流なので、歩くのは簡単でした。数回小川をまたいだけど、こどものころを思い出し水の中に足を突っ込んでちゃぷちゃぷと。長靴なので平気。最後にマノウの滝で記念撮影でした。英語だけどガイドさんが日本語もじょうずでした。いっしょのオージーのグループはぬかるみでおしりがどろだらけでした。なんでかなあ？たぶん、みんな普通はだいじょうぶ。楽しかったですよ。コーヒーの森のかおりも経験できました。

オハナ熱帯雨林ハイキング

当日は大体15人ぐらいのグループで、日本人は私たちだけでした。
場所は通常マノアフォールハイキングに行く入口よりかなり手前からマノアに入ります。ツアーの体験談に軍隊の訓練のように黙々と歩くと書いてあったので、少し心配でしたが、実際はツアーの参加者のペースに合わせて無理なく進み、所々でガイドさんがとても丁寧にハワイの自然や動物について説明してくれて本当に楽しかったです☆☆
また、小川の近くを歩いて滝まで行くので、水の音が心地よく、鳥や風の音にも癒されました。
マノアフォールハイキングとは違うコースで、ゴールの滝も違いますし、帰り道は竹林を戻りました。ぬかるんでいる所や、川を渡ったりするので、始めに長靴を借りる事をオススメします。少し冒険みたいな感じですごく楽しかったです！長靴だと水や泥も気にせずどんどん進めます。
ツアーは日本人向けではなく、ガイドさんも日本語は話せないので、ある程度英語が出来たほうが楽しめるとは思いますが、私有地を行くハイキングで、マノアの通常のコースとは違い自分では行けないコースなので、ハワイの自然が大好きという方には是非オススメしたいです。本当に癒されます、そしてすごく楽しい！
ツアーの参加者と協力しながら登ると思うので、いろんな方とコミュニケーションが出来て楽しいですよ！
次回もまた是非参加したいです♪

What an amazing outdoor experience! This hike is a must do if you'd like to get a better understanding of the hidden nature Hawaii has to offer. Our guides, Keola and Marcella, shared a wealth of knowledge and gave us an unforgettable and valuable tour of the forested region of Oahu. Some parts of the trail are strenuous, so be prepared with some good hiking shoes/boots and plenty of water. We also had the opportunity to taste the fruit the trail had to offer, simply delicious. I highly recommend trying this hike if you plan on visiting the North Shore.

My husband and I took our 11 and 10 year old daughters. We ALL loved this hike. It was longer than I expected, but definately worth it! I really recommend the boots to avoid ruining your shoes. The hike can get a little tough, but if I did it...anyone can! Have fun and wait for the big surprise.

英語ツアーということで、少しドキドキしながら参加しましたが、日本人の女性の方が２人と、あとは英語圏の方８人くらいで、英語ができないなりにもコミュニケーションをとりつつ楽しくトレッキングできました。
マノア近くの竹林的なところを黙々と登っていくのですが、マノア周辺はオアフの中でも降水量が多いところなので、地面はぬかるんでいるところが多く、途中小川も渡ったりするので、長靴は絶対借りたほうがいいと思います。ほぼ100%英語のツアーなので、本当にトレッキングが好きで、ダイヤモンドヘッドでは物足りない！！という方にはお勧めですが、英語の不安のある方はちょっと参加するのに勇気がいるような気がします。
あと、集合時間に30分くらい遅れてくるのも、英語ツアーならではなのかなぁと思いました。それくらい寛大さがないと、最初イライラするかもしれませんね

We did the hike-only portion up to a waterwall. Beautiful rainforest hike on the way up, and impressively thick bamboo forest on the way back down. We appreciated that bug spray, water, and snacks were provided. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and patient with the occasional extra time it took our 6-year old daughter to navigate some slippery and steep areas. Bike Hawaii was understanding and flexible with us when we accidentally started on the wrong activity, and easily re-scheduled us to another day so we could enjoy the activity we meant to attend. I'm sure we will use their business again when we return to Oahu.

Sidenote: our transportation back to the hotel was a 6-seater vehicle, with 7 intended passengers. Much Thanks to the cab driver who insisted that it was not safe for me to simply "hold my daughter on my lap" for the return ride! I totally agree.

We went on the 5 hour hike and had a blast! This was by far our favorite activity on Maui. The rainforest was beautiful! We saw 4 waterfalls, 3 with pools that we were able to swim in. Our guide, Helga, was very friendly and informative. She explained about the many varieties of plants and fruits on the hike as well as sharing other information about the island. We were able to pick and sample guavas fresh from the tree! This was an easy hike through some of the most beautiful scenery on Maui. I would highly recommend this activity!

昨年は日本人ガイドでのハイキングを楽しみ、ことしも日本人ガイドの別プランを申し込んだのですが、あいにく満員でした。止む無く、このプランを利用しましたが、お迎え時刻になっても現れず、かなりの遅刻での登場でした。遅刻の言い訳もなしに現地へ。教会の私有地のヌカルミを長靴をはいてもくもくと歩くプランでした。日本軍のインパール作戦みたいだなと思いながら歩くこと数十分。滝に到着し、しばらくしてからU-ターンという流れでした。解説は少なめ。やはり、去年の日本人ガイドのプランのほうが随分と楽しかった気がします。あまり、お勧めできません。

It was such a beautiful experience to walk through a lush tropical rain forest. The hike was not strenuous, which allowed me to take in all of the beautiful sights and sounds of the rain forest. We took the 5 hour hike and it was wonderful. I was joined on this activity by 5 families members including my 83 and 80 year old parents. Our tour guide, Akiko, was beyond knowledgable and special. She gave us so much information that I felt like I became part of the rain forest. Her attention to our enjoyment along with her friendliness made this one of the best events we did on Maui. Strongly recommend this event and this a vast improvement for me as I was the hold out on taking part in this hike.

Helga was our guide and she seemed to know alot about the area. We were walking alog and she stopped at a tree and pointed out a lizard or some kind. How she saw it I don't know. My wife thought it was almost too long a hike as she has a back injury. I enjoyed every minute of it. We saw 4 waterfalls and I swam in 2 on them. Swung on a rope through the fourth waterfall. Had a blast. Your in a rainforest jungle so be ready to come out with muddy shoes. The info sheet said wear swim clothes and bring a dry change. Don't bring anything. There is no place to change at. If you need to just wear something over your swimwear. I wore swim trunks and took my shirt, shoes, socks off for swimming. Your provided backpacks to carry your lunch in. This was the best! I traveled with my teenage daugher and 9 year old son and we had a wonderful family experience! Kristin (our guide) is the BEST! Kristin brought the whole group together as one big family! She made sure everyone had a great time and pointed out many interesting plants and species in the rainforest. She was amazing with my son and helped him with the rope swings - All of us would definitely do this event again!!!!
