Our tour guide was a few weeks into his job but it felt like he has been doing this for years. As we drove through the island we were shown some landmarks and famous peoples houses. Once we got to the trail he proved us ponchos which we would come to need. The trail was fantastic. Even in the rain it was our first activity when we arrived and well worth it. Highly recommend people take the time to enjoy the waterfall and see this.

Never play at the sandbar before and this was SUPER FUN! the crew was fun yet professional. Perfect length of time to be at the sandbar. As for the snorkeling, it was good, but we got kicked non stop from the people in front of us, LOL. Not the crew's fault obviously. Just a note to self for next time, will give myself some space from the people in front of me. Just a suggestion, not sure it is feasible or not... adding slide will be better. But all in all, it was a great time and thank you for doing what you are doing!

First, I want to say how welcomed we felt when we boarded the catamaran. The crew was smiling, talking to all guests, and helped when needed! Once we got settled they explained the process, life jackets, how they serve, etc. The boat was immaculate! Seats for all with our own tables. The drinks were fabulous along with the appetizers. The crew played a variety of music and made our experience a memorable one. Of course, the view was gorgeous. I was in awe of the beautiful colors against the lava rocks. We took the free transportation that was offered, which was great.

Got to the boat and quickly got out in the bay. We had TONS of time at the sand bar. I recommend bringing a floatie or ball of ton want. We joined in with the volleyball they brought which was so fun! We stayed there during lunch so when we were done eating we went back out.

Saw more sea turtles than I can count! Even saw some on the sand bar.

Snorkeling we had plenty of time and all equipment was provided.

Definitely one of the best excursions we did while there. We definitely do it again!

While the tour itself was great- we did see dolphins and turtles- this company has no regard for covid protocols. When I asked him he basically ignored me. Half the passengers weren’t. My family double masked but with no windows open it was very unsafe. If you want a safe experience- I would not pick this company.

We had a great time on Captain Bob's Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Snorkel & BBQ Lunch tour! Everything about the trip was well planned and very organized! The sandbar was a great experience because you are walking in shallow water in the middle of a bay!! The snorkeling was my favorite part. The reef that we snorkeled on was crescent shaped. Being the crew did such a great job of watching us - I was able to swim around the entire sight without being in fear of danger. It was such a peaceful experience! I even had a turtle swim right under me! I he was just about a foot underneath! The lunch was perfect and delicious. It was cooked right on the boat while we were on the sandbar!
A need touch that I appreciated was that they had laundry baskets underneath the seats on the boat. We kept out belongings in them and this kept them from getting all wet and sandy!

Everything about this boat ride was perfect!! The drinks were great, the views were amazing, and the staff were so friendly. They had mai tais, pineapple whiskey, and other non alcoholic drinks. We sailed for 2 hours which was perfect. Also, this boat doesn’t dock anywhere so you’ll board right at the shore so keep in mind you’ll get wet when you board! 10/10 recommend for anyone who’s looking for a relaxing evening :)
